I do not want to change any items except the one in my inventory that I'm changing and I'm trying to collect the unique stuff so "Replace something unique" is not an answer for me. @nuka5619 Are you saying you can do this on console or are you saying you're doing this on PC?
nice wallpaper!
It works for me, thanks a ton brother.
For those who have problems with unhandled exception don't drag the fallout nv ve onto the desktop.keep it in the folder and proceed as usual and it will work.
Edit:also I need help on the values and stuff like speed,WG,reload, and throw
Thanks man ya really helped me out
Only way to add mods to 360 version is to use a JTAG or RGH 360. It's alot of work, and you have to mod the system.
the LT3.0 doesn't work?
i cant download the modding tool in 2021
what does one do when this pops up?:
************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
I just did this it said it worked but I got in New vegas and my file is unmodded
him: normal stats me: 999999999 on everything
esse foi o melhor tutorial que eu assisti, parabéns ficou excelente!
Is there any way to do this with the ultimate edition on Xbox one? Using the disk or external hard drive? Or anything?
As the video does say at 2:11 you cannot add "mods" to the xbox 360 version of Fallout NV since there are no existing mods which have Xbox 360 support. I could be wrong but everywhere I go that's all that is said. Unfortunately Xbox One and any Gen above removed the option to download the save files so you'll need a 360 to even be able to download the save file to edit on a PC. If you want to add mods to the game you'll have to own the game on PC and play it on PC. There are so many mods for the game on PC. What you can do is "mod" the save file. (The wording is misleading so I'll refer to it purely as "Save File Editing")
There are a couple ways to do this:
1, if you have the knowledge of coding you could edit the save files of the game by downloading the raw code and edit them on some programer tools/programs.
2, if you don't have the education of programing then you need simple tools developed by programers for specific use like the one he shows in the video which allows those who don't have any idea about programing to enjoy save editing.
Unfortunately I don't trust the website the link takes me to. It seems different than the link originally was. Probably because 9 years have passed and the website has probably been sold or merged into another website. I'm currently scrolling through comments to see if anyone has actually used the website and found that it still exists and still works, but I'm not willing to risk signing up to a dodgy looking website just yet.
Meth
Josh's for daysss
I can swear this dude said something about the title update...
so i downloaded the Modding Tool and whenever i try to open it up or open a file within the program i get notified with a window that says
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click Quit, the application will close immediately."
i was wondering if i was the only encountering this problem or if i was doing something wrong.
R3Dracoon same here idk why but because of that i cant mod the dam game can someone please help us
R3Dracoon also having the same problem
Evan Ennis +R3Dracoon i had this problem , all you have to do to fix it is make sure you completely unzip the FalloutNVVE.exe file then you should not have that problem
R3Dracoon i had this problem , all you have to do to fix it is make sure you completely unzip the FalloutNVVE.exe file then you should not have that problem
tom craig i had this problem , all you have to do to fix it is make sure you completely unzip the FalloutNVVE.exe file then you should not have that problem
Doesn't work it corrupts the save file.
Is it possible to do this on xbox one?
Sorry that this is probably a dumb question. I'm not very tech savvy so I just don't quite know. If it's not then I guess I'll have to go rooting around in my attic for my old 360.
I wish it was easier like it is in fallout 4
Anyone know if this still works? Used to work for me years back but now any change and my character falls over and doesn't get back up, I've never messed with the bottom stuff either only special, skills and bottle caps.
**Edit**
I fixed it, if anyone is having the same problems as me turns out you can edit special and your inventory but any edit to skill points will cause this at least that's what I found
Do you know how to get around the “unhandled exception has occurred ? “
i did this method but now it says i have to format it.....
what do i do please help
Switch the profile/console/and the other one, I forgot the name. And switch your info with the modded save. Like the modded save profile I'd will be like 000000000000 and yours 247842790 copy and paste your info onto the moded saves. If that makes sense.
watch the video on youtube about formatting it for your computer
I want to add items to my inventory but what's happening is that any item I replaced in my inventory, that item changed within the gameworld at large. I'd replace the Fiends' helmet with Oliver's cap and all Fiends in the game would wear Oliver's cap.
I do not want to change any items except the one in my inventory that I'm changing and I'm trying to collect the unique stuff so "Replace something unique" is not an answer for me. Is there a way to change ONLY the item in my inventory without sacrificing a unique item nor changing the entire gameworld?
You can have one million caps so you are not close to like unlimited
It works on the newest version of falloutnv ve with all the dlc which means you don't need to uninstall all the dlc to use the mod tool and reinstall them, but when I get in the game I can move around normally and do everything except for opening my pipboy 3000 (when I do it freezes the game).
@Jake Willett It's a miracle your save isn't corrupt since you obviously put everything you had as a 1,000,000 each. Don't act like it's a mystery.
Where did you get the newest version? I've got 4.1 and it's not working
I was hoping to find out how to mod FNV 360 on Xbox One, but oh well.
@@Krispysquare Thanks, dingus. I don't own a usb. Very useful.
Please help :( I plug my usb in then do all the stuff but I right click horizon press administrator then it says do you want to allow it to do stuff I press yes and it doesn't do anything! Please help :(

I think people got it wrong mods mean something else
It worked!!!! Good job New sub 👍👏👍
and if you change the Vault 21 Jumpsuit it could corrupt your file, but this has only happened to me only a few times. It is completely fixable though; just load everything up again and keep trying until it no longer gets corrupted.
I'm from the future
I’m from the future
dude for some reason as soon as i load the save after iv modded it my character just falls straight to the ground and i cant move whats with this iv tried multiple saves now :/
i cant save my changes or add/change items, all it says is "Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attemp to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately." so i click continue and nothing happens. Sorry to say this but this video is bogus.("could not find file "C:\Users\owner\Desktop
eadme.txt"")(and if i'm blind than sorry)
WHY CAN'T MY CHARACTER JUST NOT FALL OVER HELP PLZ!!!!????
This helped a lot. Thanks!
my character justs falls flat, after that he don´t move
happens to me to don't know what to do.....
Forgive my ignorance, but how will this work with things like the upcoming Way of the Chosen mod? Should I create a save on the drive before loading WotC (or whatever), and then somehow loading? Should be noted that my 360 version of NV is the Ultimate Edition.
You kinda sounded like a ghoul for a few moments.
Does this work on the Xbox One? Especially the Ultimate Edition?
Justin Felipe you would have to edit game save through xbox 360, upload save to cloud, use cloud save on the xbox one,
So technically it does work you just have to use the 360 to make it work
Hello, he work with nexus mods too please ?
Can you mod in Jsawyer mod into xbox 360 game version? Would love to have Jsawyer mod on this game with my xbox 360 ver
I Have a question if if change a normal item like a baseball in to a 10mm pistol will the pistol break due to the value being -1?
Yeah it does I usually just get a random gun & start editing it.

You didn't tell us this was going to be using a computer

is this technically copy right? like can you get in trouble with copy right laws?
there is a way to get some pc mods on xbox but you need a jtag
gh or xdk.
I tried lowering my int, temporarily for a challenge from dead money, but the save just says corrupted
same for me
The NV Modding tool cant be downloaded because its old or it may have a Virus in it. What other app could I use. I am also a Newbie at modding so I don't know much but I want to learn about it more and Understand it. Thank you for the Helpful video btw.
Can you use a Mac
Wow.........just....wow.......
New Vegas isn't on mac
+nicolofantini he means mod his Xbox file on his mac-.-
Can you smoke cigarettes by lighting the filter side? Yeah but it sucks, so don't waste your money by doing it.
CHROMIE_BAG Mac is for retards who want life easy. If you used a PC we’d maybe give you a little ease off the gas.
Ive tried to get the fallout modding tool but so far I have not had any luck with it
