Why can’t they crush desert sand to make it similar to beach sand consistently.?

That would be very difficult, not to mention expensive. But desert sand is also a different mineral composition.

or you could just go to the Sahara, get some sand, and use it to replace the sand taken from the beach. Desert sand is not good for construction but I can't find any indication that desert sand is not good for the beach.

One problem: There is no profit in doing this.

People want beaches so there should be a market for it.

Why not putting "useless" desert sand from countries in middle east on to beaches around the world? They don't want those desert anyway....

omg did you listen what the guy saying, it cannot be done with this sand.

      Michal Soukup
The video said that you can't construct concrete building with middle east sand due to its rounded (poor) quality hence you need near-beach sand but NOTHING about dumping middle east sand on beach....

Because that sand is not the right sand for beaches because it would destroy the sand we are running out of!

it would probably slip away having the wrong consistency , this is amazing I had no idea .

I know all about sand, i make sand castles. This guy is blaming humans,WRONG. Sand is always moving and changing and sand is always being made. Yes dessert sand is useless. But beaches will not be gone by 2100. There are also huge sand reserves under our feet

Let me guess, you don't know anything about aeolian deposits
Those sands are ecosystems also, the fewer ecosystems the closer the entire thing globally gets to breaking down

Every time you walk on a beach you remove a surprising amount of sand on your wet skin. Just a thought.
