People with neurological disorders are often gifted. (Beethoven, Prince, Alfred Nobel,...) Few know of many artists or scientists who also had or have such or other diseases. People often only become interested in it when they themselves suffer from such a disease.

My admiration has risen to the highest for this man. He is firstly an exceptionally talented artist. I then saw him in various interviews and he came across as really funny and down to earth which I loved. I now know how incredibly brave he is. What a fantastic advocate for Tourettte sufferers.

I may add that 1) finishing the commentary by questioning whether he can make it to Australia is somewhat irrelevant in this situation and 2) saying “get ready for a singalong” leaves me somewhat speechless.

He will be in deep remorse for many weeks over this, and it will be all over the news as well, whitch will be causing an even greater impact on his wellbeing. Give the guy a break. I watch with tears in my eyes. Having a disabled son, I know first hand how cruel humans can be. I'm so proud of the Glastonbury fans. They showed how great and supporting humans can be. I feel so so sorry for Capaldi as a Tourette syndrome sufferer, this is literally breaking my heart as I watch this and as a songwriter as well. I can't imagine what he is going through. This is why it needs to be spoken out more because it takes over your life forever.

I've sung lead vocals for a handful of gigs and the stress it takes on you, especially in the lead-up to the gig, is astronomic even when you're not famous. The fact that he lost his voice mid-gig must have been too much for him. My heart goes out to him. Kudos to his fans for not being awful about it.

Realizing in that moment that you had to stop doing something you love so much and take a break for who knows how long. God. I'm disabled and this hurt so much to watch. He's so emotional and having such a deep realization here imo. Most disabled people know that feeling and it can be soul crushing. Especially the very first time. I hope he got a serious hug. 😞
With all the negative and terrible things happening in the world that we're exposed to 24/7 in the news it's easy to be fooled into thinking the human race is nothing but bad people... This embodies the reality of how beautiful and kind we actually are... So touching ❤️
