I doubt the younger generations realize how truly lucky they are to see Cat Stevens/Yusuf in the flesh. He is a true legend in our own time and he has been for the past 50 years. So many great artists have come and gone over the years. I remember when Cat Steven's was being boycotted for wanting to follow his heart, and I couldn't bring myself to suffer the sacrifice of giving up his music. I'm happy to see that people have come to their senses and finally accepted Yusuf's life choices. To each their own, I say. He's back! Im an acoustic musician who's played his songs for many years, and that distinct voice and beautiful percussive guitar sound, wow. The sound here is literally exactly what was on the record, and that isn't easy to reproduce well. He's using different old schoolmstyle pickups on the gibson to normal modern acoustics to get that cat stevens sound, and then that voice, and these songs, oh my. Perfection

In the 70's, I first fell in love with Cat Stevens. His voice was stunningly mesmerizing and I would spend hours listening to the poetry of his words. It didn't hurt that he was also one of the most beautiful men that I had ever seen. When Cat became ill and decided to become Yusuf, my heart broke for him, but I also intuitively understood that he had to make some very drastic changes in order to survive. I still listened to his wonderful music throughout the years, but I missed his presence. I am so very grateful that things have come full circle and that Cat/Yusuf is doing well and sharing his incredible gift again. Blessings.💖

I think he touch the feeling and sound of Majicat 1976 tour. He struggled for 15 years since his comeback with the right approach. This is the best I’ve heard him since the 70s

at the Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, New York, United States.
In the 70's, I first fell in love with Cat Stevens. His voice was stunningly mesmerizing and I would spend hours listening to the poetry of his words. It didn't hurt that he was also one of the most beautiful men that I had ever seen. When Cat became ill and decided to become Yusuf, my heart broke for him, but I also intuitively understood that he had to make some very drastic changes in order to survive. I still listened to his wonderful music throughout the years, but I missed his presence. I am so very grateful that things have come full circle and that Cat/Yusuf is doing well and sharing his incredible gift again. Blessings.💖
