It very clearly, and directly, states and references GOD - as THE source of the Morning. I agree. I woke up this morning with this song in my head. I only heard it maybe once or twice on the radio as a kid, so it's not like I have it memorized. I never knew Cat Stevens was the author. I simply typed the first lyric which is all I remembered into the RUclips search engine and... presto! I got the chance to see the words and I have to admit, I cried. I had a lot of loss these past 2 years...a lot of stress. This moment today made me remember, something Holy is ALWAYS happening. Thanks for reading this. I remember we used to have to sing this hymn in my junior school in the 70s and hated it. I remember thinking why would someone record it as a single. Now much older (62) and probably not a lot wiser, love it hearing it and it moves me to tears.

The back stage door was open, facing the street, he and one of his band members were there. After my shock and in very close contact, he asked me where a good restaurant to eat was. Looking down Peachtree Rd. they had recently built what was called the Regency Hyatt that was circularly domed with the Restaurant on top. Only that told him this, is about all I can remember. Have always and to this day enjoy his music..
He is playing a Guild F-50R double pick guard acoustic guitar for this song. They are made in the USA. Beautiful six stringers. Cat Stevens and Alun Davies, Jim Croce and Maury Muehleisen were my favourite acoustic guitar musos of that time and still are. I still have all their LPs from them days in vgc, stored in record hardcases. But I love to watch all my favourite songs on you tube now the most. I should get my old Gibson acoustic out and start strumming to these again. 😀 👋

Agree! It is so nurturing. I recorded the "Dawn Chorus" for a Spring project when I was 11. I held the microphone out of our bathroom window at 4 am. It was beautiful to listen to the cacophony. And I am just your average person. I just loved the sounds of nature ❤

Was fortunate to meet him unexpectedly after one of his concert in Atlanta, nineteen seventy. I managed with a friend to wander backstage knowing I'd get stopped by security. The back stage door was open, facing the street, he and one of his band members were there. After my shock and in very close contact, he asked me where a good restaurant to eat was. Looking down Peachtree Rd. they had recently built what was called the Regency Hyatt that was circularly domed with the Restaurant on top. Only that told him this, is about all I can remember. Have always and to this day enjoy his music..

Cat Stevens and Alun Davies, Jim Croce and Maury Muehleisen were my favourite acoustic guitar musos of that time and still are. I still have all their LPs from them days in vgc, stored in record hardcases.
