And fans helped him to finish his "someone You Loved" song giving emotional and touching moment.

Could he finish the concert? I was wondering if he wasn't even half way through and couldn't finish if some fans would demand their money back. This scene brought tears to my eyes. Love this song.

@@3mexhuas it was Iat Glastonbury Festival, tickets are so hard to get…loads of different stages, bands, artists just wandering around in enormous area in uk countryside! Very special experience, nobody goes for 1 artist there’s so many.
The fact that he still went on stage for his fans when he was clearly struggling just shows his strength and love for his fans. Most musicians would have cancelled the whole concert and said they had the flu and left their fans hanging, but he didn't. He was there. Respect.💜

I’m so glad I was there to witness this live. I love Lewis Capaldi, I was looking forward to seeing him live all day that day. I had no idea it would have such an effect on me. The way everyone pulled together to see him through. A lot of people saying he shouldn’t have been up there. Only good came from this. It shows anyone struggling with any form of physical or mental health issues can get through it with help from friends. And that’s what it felt like, we were all there as friends seeing him through.
That must have been the best live experience.

I have huge respect for every member of that crowd for stepping up and helping their favorite artist.
I had no idea he had tourettes. Watching him go up there, clearly struggling with his disability, fighting the nervousness and the ticks and still going strong for everyone, being rewarded with a crowd of people singing the song they love. Seriously brought a tear to me eye

It's not "vocal problems" as the description box mentions, but Tourette's syndrome. Lewis has Tourette's syndrome - he's publicly announced this - and he was having a bout of severe tics during the performance, rendering him unable to sing. Top notch audience there, I'm sure he's very grateful :)
He'd been unwell and had taken a break and came back before he was 100%. He was so worried about disappointing his fans but he need not have worried. They had his back. ❤

That slight rise in the cheer with the words, "I'll be safe in your sound 'til I come back around" ❤ I have never literally witnessed the living out of a lyric where thousands of people, and the singer himself, all realized the importance of that line. He was safe in their sound. The sound he gave to them first. There is still goodness.
Oh god, my heart was breaking for him, watching this. You can see how much he was beating himself up inside for not being able to perform the song himself. But that crowd, in the only way they could at that point, pulled together to tell him "we've got your back, dude." Beautiful. Gives me hope for humanity, at a time when there's not much to be had.

When hundreds of thousands of people paid to hear you sing but as life happens to us all and he couldn’t they gracefully accepted that fact without complaining about it and sang for him. I bet it gave him the same feelings to hear that from each of his fans just as when he released the song and that young girl or boy in the crowd was crying jamming to this bc I hits something inside of us.
