Dude! Flip the McCues. You'll have high clearance but you may want to move your shock to lower the chassis. I did it to my pink power wagon and it worked great.
Hell yeah man I love you Dustin. Full disclosure you didn't hide anything yeah I fucked up didn't know what I was talking about that's cool man. We're all learning here that's why we are in the hobby. Thank you man for being so cool
Very nice and interesting Video, Thanks! I don't like complete Metal Links with these Rubber Rings. The best Links in my Opinion are with Plastic Ends. Never gets worn out. The best affordable Links are the Injora High Clearance Links, hope they make it soon for the Fcx24 too!
These links are sweet!!!! I just installed the Treal links on mine. The Treal links do not come with a ball end for the shocks. I had to find a parts that would work in a parts bins. Great review bro!!!
The upper link upgrade from them should fix the driveshaft issue. And your backend bottom links are flipped upside down lol. Thats why they rub on everything
Those rear lower links are meant to be mounted that way, they are not “high clearance links” they are just stretched links in the rear for a longer wheel base 🤷🏻♂️ that’s what the instructions said anyways
They really don’t look right when installed but I tried flipping them and they didn’t fit very well so I ended up just replacing them with 3D printed links that work better
Mine don’t rub, maybe you have your steering dual rate turned up higher then I do, if they are rubbing I would turn it down just a bit till they stop 👍🏻
Why in the world can’t they put some kind of instructions in these things? I have a pile of screws and ball joints and o rings and have no idea which ones go where. I have silver ball joints and brass ball joints and no instructions whatsoever on where they go! SMDH …
Right!! It’s super frustrating, the easiest thing to do is find a RUclips video of someone who has already gone through the struggle and made a tutorial on instal lol
Excellent tip on how to take out the body easier!!!
Thanks 😄🤘🏼
That cut for the orings killed me, I spit my drink out all over my screen🤣, another great video dude!
😂 that’s awesome lol glad you got a laugh out of it!
Brilliant body removal pro tip... Thank you! Absolute game changer. Liked & subscribed.
Awesome, thank you!
Throwing a like purely for that body removal mod 👌

Thanks Jim! 😊
I used a Mofo C10 upper front link to adjust the driveshaft angle . They are 3mm longer .
I gotta check out that body trick! I added lights and I 100% every time pinch a wire under a fender.
It’s really handy 👍🏻

Your body mount mod was epic 👌

@@UpperLeftRC As long as you're happy with it lol just didn't look quite right

Hi,
I put these links in reverse way in order to protect drive shafts and it works as well.
Oh cool, thanks for the tip 👍🏻
Lmao what rubber🤣
Enjoyed that vid
😂👍🏻
You do know you could have turned over the rear extended links into the high clearance mode
😂😂😂 funny guy 👏👏👏
Pivot ball or thingy, your choice ; )
😂 exactly
Awesome I like that getting the body off, appreciate you sharing this one. How do you touch the fenders to the chassis
The fenders have 4 clips on the bottom that snap onto the chassis
How did you get the stock shocks off without snapping anything mine wont budge
Mine popped off pretty easily, not sure why yours are so tough :/
I have those same wheels on my truck and tire set up but mine seem to run just curious if yours do the same ?
Mine don’t rub, maybe you have your steering dual rate turned up higher then I do, if they are rubbing I would turn it down just a bit till they stop 👍🏻
@@UpperLeftRC 👍🏻👍🏻
I still don’t understand why fms didn’t do the magnet mount with the tilt like on the 6x6
Yeah I think that would have been a way better set up!
Wow way easier on the body
Right! 🤘🏼
If you flip your lower rear links you may get more clearance. Trust me.
Yeah the way they are designed the shocks would cause the rear to sit really high but I might check it out :)
