I hope Dodge hears me, not all of us want a V8 or a pathetic turbo charged 4 cylinder car. Some of us want something in the middle, namely a V6. Thank you Dodge, for making this option available, and also thank you for not following the current trend of ' overstying ', the Challenger looks fan - freakin - tastic just the way it is. It hasn't changed its looks because IT DOESN'T NEED TO, and as soon as my current car craps out, I plan to make the Dodge Challenger SXT my next new car.
Great review! I just bought a 2019 Challenger SXT V6 because Dodge is giving such insane end of year deals right now. I got it with Sirius radio and one year subscription and the whole thing was marked down from 31K to 21K. You cannot beat that deal!
@High Rez Just search online for Challenger 99 a month lease and see what comes up. It may not be available in all areas and it also may have only been for a limited time.
These are good cars for the money. I bought an new '18 SXT last year and now have over 34,000 miles on it with no regrets. The car is smooth and quiet, comfortable for long drives , and has plenty of room. The interior is very nice for a base model car and the V6 has plenty of power for the highway . I get 26.5 mpg in town and 30mpg if I drive 70 or under on the highway. Just a fun car to drive even with the V6.
I agree! I drove it from LA to Santa Barbara and back and loved how smooth and how quiet it was. And yes, you can't beat the mileage, for a car with decent room inside. Thanks for watching and enjoy it!
I have the same fact same black 2019 challenger. This guys is underselling it. It took a 30 min test drive to go wow this is so much more car than a mustang or Camaro. I drove all 3 before picking the challenger. I put a ram air on it and a borla cat back. It now puts out 340 at rear wheels and is fast. Fast enough I got a 1200 speeding ticket and I’m a firefighter but they said screw you we don’t care about you guys around here. That’s Holly Springs Ga if your wondering. Trust me you don’t need a hemi unless something is really small between your legs like the Vette drivers. It’s fast enough and super nice for the money. The build quality’s out the roof compared to the dodge of 20 years ago.
Come on I'm not under selling it I said I think it's a great car! I like the style, I like the room, I like that six-cylinder engine and think it has just the right amount of power and I think it's a great bargain.
Thank you for this! I bought this today, kinda on a whim... so you def helped confirm I made a good decision, lol! It drives so well! I’m very impressed!
Just picked up a '19 SXT Plus AWD in Sublime. Love that color and the car is more than I could ask for. Great ride comfort and good enough power for my needs. Dodge is doing a great job with these cars giving trim levels to meet many different needs.
I've been eyeing this car for some time now, and I hope to make it my first ever big car purchase. Now I'm 18 so it may take a little bit, but It's an amazing car in both function & looks. It is well worth the price and the wait to get one. 😁
@@FreddySherman Wow thanks for the reply. 😁 (sorry to ramble by the way) Sadly I live in Missouri so I can't take advantage of that lease, however I do live very near to a ford dealer so hopefully I can work something out there. I'm looking to get a custom one with an F8 green paint job, granite aluminum wheels, tan NAPA leather interior, plus package, and driver convenience package. The website estimates it at around $34, 975. Hopefully I can work something out with a dealer near me. Any tips for getting something like that done, or at least making the process easier?
@@badoobles Sounds like you're already doing research which is good. Arm yourself with all the prices, remember the Dodge website shows retail pricing, you need to find the wholesale cost and negotiate from that. Biggest tip is be a hard ass, fight them for your money. Be prepared to walk out and find a few dealers to deal with so you can pit them against each other. Don't be afraid to check dealers a bit far away from you, you can do a lot of the negotiation via email and phone. They may make u a better deal to get you to drive out to them. Never let them push you and again, be prepared to get up and walk out. Look into alternative financing from your local bank or credit union. Rates are usually better. You can apply for a loan with the credit union and walk into the dealership and negotiate as if you're paying cash.
@@Timkbthesecond I love the wheels I have. The 5 spoke wheels are so much better than the spider web that SxT plus and RT get. Hate to say. But if and when I ever go to an RT or ET (Electric model) we all know it’s being worked on right now. It’s gonna have to have some old school classic muscle rims. And the only car to keep that on the Challenger line was the SXT

@@FreddySherman The Shaker is a specific Chrysler feature (though similar intakes exist on 70's Ford and GM cars as well) from the original generation of muscle cars, with the 'Shaker" itself being a cap attached to the air cleaner/intake of the engine and protruding through a hole in the hood.
