I really like this recipe. Make sure you take notes of what you used, if you added more of one ingredients etc... i made beads, little figures out of my first batch. However, I did not properly take notes. It tock a while for me to recreate it. I just realized the time. Sorry.

Hi Dennis the clay looks wonderful my question is how much glycerin in the video you said 1 tablespoon but in the text on the screen it said 1 teaspoon, clarity please. Also was there just a 1/2 a bar of soap used in this recipe? I either missed it in the video or didn’t catch the clue. And the 1/3 cup paper I assume that was dried paper mulch or was it wet paper mulch? When you said the next time you would use a whole bar of soap does that mean that you were double the ingredients with the whole bar of soap Or would you just add the whole bar to list of ingredients ? Thanks for the tip about the ivory soap. I’ll give this a try
My apologies.. I didn't notice I put the wrong amount. I used a full bar of soap, try the teaspoon first of glycerin. You don't need a lot of Glycerin.
I was thinking for one bar of soap I should be able to get more clay out of it. However, now I realize adding too much other ingredients to the soap will force me to add additional preservatives to the caly so it doesn't mold.
Yes, add damp paper.
Oh.. I would also half the recipe and see how it turns out first. I notice that zoning, humidity, and different products change the consistency of your clay.
What's the difference between air dry clay and porcelain clay
When it comes to home made.. the ingredients are different. All clays can be air dry, or at least the ones I have used. However, I find that porcelain clay if baked puffs up... you need to flattened it when hot if you are not looking for a puffy look. If you use a polymer clay, it's plastic and can bake and stay flat. Does that make sense?
Did you ever see mold on soap no need of vinegar or lemon juice because it kills colours
No I haven't, I use because I tampered with the original soap recipe and the last thing i want is mold on my projects. However, the first two soap clays I made I didn't have lemons or vinegar and they are just fine, i thinks is been 5 years.
I just found you..and I’m lost. Maybe there are older videos I should watch until I catch up? How much soap, what kind of soap, little bits of paper, what kind of paper? Can you list all ingredients and measurements? Thank you.
Sorry, it might be better to list the ingredients separately then in the video. Or maybe change it to a step-by-step video so the measurements are clearer. I'll try and change the video style. I'll send tbe ingredients later today. Thanks for the tip.

One bar of soap grated
1/2 cup of water
1Tbsp of vinegar
1/2 glue
1tsp of baby oil
1/3 paper pulp
1tps Glycerin
1cup cornstarch
