Achara is pretty intelligent. She understands Indian cultures very well. Yes, that girl is from Arunachal Pradesh (Northeast India). And I am glad that now the northeastern is getting some representation in the mainstream.

@@muralikartik6813 At least, in this movie, she's cast as an Indian; otherwise, they're mainly cast as Chinese and Southeast Asian characters. She appears to play an important role in this movie as well. It's encouraging to see that at least some cinematic fertility defies our multiple society's preconceptions through film.

I'm with Jaby, Ayushman and Rajkumar do have a similar career trajectory and even the styles of their films, though Rajkumar has done darker themed films too. Either way, they're two of my favorite actors and I always trust them to come up with roles. I want to see them do another movie together too!
RR has a wider range in terms of acting scale. He can do Bareily Ki Barfi & Aligarh but Ayushmann is not that capable.

The sad thing about all this is that he was forced into the marriage.... I can't even wrap my head around being homosexual in this country.... People are clueless here...

Rajkumar Rao doesn't particularly take social issue-based movies, he's just going after different kinda roles. Ayushmaan is all about social issues. But it's understandable for someone of different ethnicity to get confused between them because they do unique films.

I m really excited for badhai do for bunch of reasons:
1. We get a northeast indian representation.
2.lgbtq community is slowly and steadily emerging in bollywood movies. I m so so happy that the revolution is slowly coming 😍 (just a small change should be done for future movies about lgbtq stories is that the directors and producers should cast actors who actually belong to the lgbtq community) or else it's all fine❤
3.the representation of a police man as gay man which is stereotyped in India.

I love both actors but have a special spot for RRR, especially because he doesn't get as much mainstream acknowledgement as he deserves. He's highly intelligent and straightforward as well, has done many movies based on social issues besides showing versatility. If it comes to choice, Rajkumar is my go to actor for any kind of role. His performance in Gangs of Wasseypur, Sui Dhaga, Newton, City Lights, Stree, etc. all stand out to me

7:40 originally she is from Northeast state, arunachal pradesh. And as for movie I feel, no she must be Indian also in movie because she's so good in Hindi language. And not only NE people have that feature, Nepali and Himachali to some extent have that same facial features.

I really like that fact that we get to see Rajkumar Rao's and Ayushman Khurrana's range through the kind of roles they pick for themselves. In the movie industry, once you do an incredible job as one role, you essentially become archetype for roles that are similar to that one. And once you pick movies that lead to playing just one kind of role, you aren't really able to expand and explore with your art.
Bhumi has done many movies but imo her most iconic role was in the movie "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" starring alongside ayushman khurana

Rajkumar and ayushman have done 'Bareilly Ki Barfi ' together and trust me guys its one of the best movies out there in Bollywood. From acting to story to direction all are just excellent .

I like conviction in which Rajkumar Rao perfectly blend with the character that he is playing, where as Ayushman is always same like a boy next door..
