I remember watching this movie in theater and my friend ditched me.
The theatre was not at full capacity but I still enjoyed the movie.

Also watch the outsyanding comedy movies Padosan, Chupke Chupke and Angoor. That will test the depth of your understanding of Indian culture At present you come across as a person with a superficial understanding of Indian culture. Ofcourse your knowledge of American movies is outstanding.

That Gujarat earthquake and the riots that followed were a dark time in Indian history. So many died by the natural disaster...followed by a "man-made" massacre. This is why this story feels so realistic even though it is fiction.

This Film was Really Good I really liked the character of RR and SSR.
The setting, the city Ahmedabad is important. The entrepreneurship movement took off in that city in the early 90s very successfully, there was an earthquake in 2000 and then communal riots after a train with Hindus was burnt down in 2002.. In that sense real history forms an important link in the story
