I showed my mother and she became so open minded. She said "See everything is possible. Just marry a guy for society and love girls. No problem in life". And she thought it was progressive thinking 💀. Yes she thought it would give me a better life in society, not her fault.
Hi Prarthana, I also feel disgusted by the patriarchal and queerphobic mindsets of young generations. I had a friend like this in college. On the contrary, I've seen people from older generations to be open and accepting. My grandma is one of those few older generation people who is open to stuff that people were not aware of in her days. Anyways, it doesn't need mention that your content is as usual amazing and full of humour 💙
Heyy I'm really happy to hear about your grandmother. She seems like a wonderful person! And yes, it's more about the person's maturity and kindness more than the generation. Really hope to see more people be like your grandma 💕
In all the indian movies and series One thing is common No chemestry 😀 That's why want lesbians on tv because They can represent lesbians better on tv It will help to aware people Old generation (specially aunties )
its funny u mentioned the coming out topic because i literally came out to my dad THROUGH TEXT after watching this movie because i was so emotionally fueled
its random but i had to address it 2:40 cops actually make good money especially officers and iam not talking about bribes and pretty much all of your expenses from utilities to housing is taken care of by the department so you save quite a lot of money
Yayyyyy i recently watched this movie and was just wondering when you'd react to it. Keep making more content for us, we love it. The wait was totally worth it.
About the PT/PE teacher,... Just a recent experience I'm sharing... Sooooo like few weeks ago when I had my Chemistry practical the PE mam came and made boys went outside (outside there was PE sir checking them) and then she came inside suddenly grabbed me from behind and kinda back hug thing while checking my pockets "bacha you don't seem to have phone gud" (I was like at the first seat you see so she came to me first) first I got startled, second I was holding my breath while she checked even it was for 10 seconds or so💀💀💀💀💀 then later just thinking "what just hApPEneD"💀🖐🏻
@@ShortHairedBrownQueer oh no no no, she is a really sweet teacher I was just saying that I was shocked when she suddenly come from behind 😂 during the exam
Bro, you have me dying 😂😂😂 your content is really good. I watched this movie on Netflix to understand more about indian culture x queer. Its interesting you pointing out the straight relationship on the center of the story and their marrige, it says a lot about how India sees queer ppl (ok, you can be gay but at least pretend to be straight). Its a middle way of acceptance, and the movie shows it in all forms - as you said, very accurate.
Ever since I watched the movie I’ve been waiting for your review. ☺️ Even I was pleasantly surprised that Mainstream Bollywood of all places churned this gem out. And that get a f*cling lock customer’s accent! I died. 🤣😂
oh my god after a century finally 😌loved the vid such a detailed review ngl i did think that the movie showed a good amount of the yk bitter truths of coming out and how different people may react to it in our country or even like how some queer relationships may get a sad ending but at some points it was like straight up illogical get a effin lock bruh👽👀but it was definitely better than the past bollywood lgbtqia stuff soo yeah and missed you so much ma'am like you are one of the only queer youtubers i watch and you put out such good content that one might just crave when feeling low umhmm💀✨fruity😂so hats off for the efforts
Thank you so much for making this video!!! I love this movie and not even 12 hours have passed since me and my friend have watched the movie(she watched it for the first time and I watched it for the 3rd time). The video was so hilarious, I was laughing like anything! Also, she was just re-watching the movie when I sent her your video!Thank you once again for making this video!!!! P.S- I found you when I was searching for someone who is Indian and makes such fun queer content. And I am glad I did!❣😃😁
if i remember the movie correctly, the other three were supposed to be out at that time but due to some reason came back. Maybe that's why they did not bother with the lock...but yeah you do have a point
Nice keep up the good work. Education is important for the masses. Proud of you and what you do. And I'm probably older than your parents and have many friends that're like me. Not all older folk are homophobic. It's how many people are and thats perfectly fine. Cheers....
This movie was a bit scary... Because... Hear me out... There's this one point in the movie when they (the lead characters) were shown trying to fit in with heteronormative ways... I was like, there's no f ing way they're gonna do us dirty... And thankfully they didn't... I was annoyed by the constant push towards making it suitable for heteros...
You should watch "Kaathal the core" (It's a malayalam film), It features Mammootty & Jyothika. Mammootty plays the role of a gay man. I loved the movie so much. I watched it with my mother too watch her reaction, surprisingly she wasn't as homophobic as I'd imagined. 😭🤌🏻Please make more videos reacting to Indian queer movies and representation!

hahaha yeah, its a very dangerous way of thinking. definitely something that i hope isn't propagated by this movie
This is the reason I didn't show my parents this movie
My mother thought were same but way before the movie😂
“If this happened to me as a child, I would be WAY more into sport.” 😂😂😂 too good!! 🌈 🥰
