Thank you for this great video. I like how you approach and solve problems. Many greetings from another 1984 928S driver from Germay.

    Nice looking 928!
I would have changed out the tank fuel strainer and fuel sender. Best of luck 🤙
Looking forward to the next update.

Oh I will be replacing them. I did consider the fuel strainer and then removed it from the shopping cart last second. That was clearly a mistake. But I got the car running and got it moved which was the goal. Now I need to buy a lot of various maintenance stuff so the next video will not be exciting either but I will slowly get the car running smoothly again.

There's a jumper post under the hood on the right side.
By the way, thank you for your service!

I know, but it was easier to get the car hooked up at the back then to maneuver it to hook it up at the front.

Why did it look like that nut on the fuel pump and also even the hose clamp were left hand threaded?
I also had one of those fuel pump relays go bad in my '84 Euro S.

I might have had footage of me trying both ways to get the nut on the pump loose. I remember one of them was so damn tight it had me questioning which way I was turning.

Where did you get the lift bar, and how much is it?

It has been a while but this should be who I bought them from. liftbars.com/. It looks like they have changed the design and possibly the materials in 2023. It says the new ones are only 15lbs, mine are for sure heavier than 15lbs. I do not remember how much I paid for them back when I bought them but they are around 360 dollars now.

Lovely, I feel you on a lot of things here. Mine does not do anything yet, and also the driver door is locked and broken. Very annoying isn't it.

Its a wonderful car, but it is probably the most complicated car to work on I have ever seen.
