2 was an absolute classic. Best of the series by far. Wedding was kind of a letdown but Reunion really came back strong.
Watching AP2 in theaters was a great experience. Everyone was dying throughout the movie. I cried like three times, people around me were crying... It was great.
I saw this movie in theaters and felt a connection as me and my best friend graduated the same year. I think we ALL had friend like 'Stifler'!

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I went and made me something to eat for the show 😆 I knew Devin was gonna show out with this one!
First of all. Props to you Devin for using a spoon to eat that pie. I'm still trying to figure out who decided dessert needs to be eaten with a fork. i.e. pie and cake. Next, my favorite of this series is American Wedding. A greatspinoff from it is The Naked Mile. Check that one out too.

Yes, this one was great. But the American Pie franchise hit it's stride (and probably peak) with American Wedding. That one is off the charts funny.
My favorite scene in the whole reaction: guy walks in the kitchen and sees apple pie. Devin goes like "U better not"! Laughed my ass off.

When this movie was made the Internet was brand new. Most people didn’t have it…if you had a system that could actually process video you were rich, smart, and nerdy. The gigabyte didn’t exist yet. Highest power computers were were still measured in megabytes, which were stored on diskettes. It was about 7 years removed from the megabyte not existing…when kilobytes came on floppy disk. governing the Internet were still a few years from even being a discussion.

I have watched every American Pie they have the 4 originals and the 5 spin offs, and every one has a Stifler in it 😂😂
Jim's Dad and Stiffler made these movies slightly entertaining, but to anyone growing up watching 80s and 90s movies, this was a concept that had been done to death with characters we had seen a million times by the time American Pie came out.
I always saw this movie as the oh - so popular formular of prioritizing gross - out humor over actually creating likeable characters and telling genuine jokes.
And them communicating a good message, that you shouldn't feel pressured into losing your virginity, only to completely throw that message out the window by the end, always bothered me.
