How long can pla be stored? I had a second hand machine that was too small and had some issues so I sold it and I found a scrapped one and eith that one I learned a lot but gave it away, I am looking forward to something from Creality.
I have an Ender 5 S1 that I can't get level no matter what I do. I put a glass bed on from a working ender 3 and still nothing. The problem is in the same spot no matter the direction I put the glass plate so I think it's the aluminum extrusion rails. Anyone have ideas for how to straighten them out?
Thanks for the info As I am new to printing and waiting for my ender 7 i hope you will share more info. Its difficult to find people sharing there Ender 7 tips and tricks. What are your thoughts and setting's for the ender 7. Greetings from Holland, Frits
I got into 3d printing because of my other overly nerd hobby, which is build and fly model aircraft (mostly multirotors, but I have a few fixed wings too). So I guess I'm imune to the hassle of tinkering. Nice little rant, though. 3d printing definitely has a steep learning curve, but it is nice to learn stuff, right? A year ago I was completely unable to model stuff, now I feel I have to jump those hoops too and that knowledge is another tool in my box. Anyone who's already into scratch building rc aircraft and other complex things is going to enjoy 3d printing, despite all the hassle.
I found tthe creality ender 5s1 for 200$ should I go for it or should i go for the creality ender3 v2? this is my first ever printer and i plan to use it to print figures and maks such as marvel masks
I am about to buy K1 but i am not sure. Ender 5 S1, Cermoon D1 or Creality K1? Which one is good? Can u give me advice thanks. Or can u give me better alternative about 400-600$
Bambu Labs X1C or P1P OR Prusa Mk3S+ (on clearance as they released the Mk4) or the Mk4 are essentially upload model and go. Just walk away after its started. The fidgeting and goofing around is unique to cheap printers. I like making stuff, not fiddling with printers. I tried the $250 type printers, hot garbage although they're better now. $600 and up they start to become press button and go.
@@wilurbean Thanks; I'll keep that in mind. I know there must be some point at which these machines become useful tools rather than bottomless time-sinks of fiddling and frustration.
Nothing worthwhile is ever gonna be easy. The point is getting the base structure as neat as possible. You then go and apply your own artistry with the sanding, priming, painting, metallic coating, finishing etc. As that's the whole point that separates hobbiest 3D prints from mass produced products. The only prints that don't really require work are brackets and connectors, utilities etc. But even that is gonna require an initial investment of trial and error, after which it becomes really simple and easy - like any skill.
@markzieg2425 bambu labs printer was the worst printer I EVER BOUGHT HAVE FUN WITHT THAT DAMN PRINTER FIXING AND BUYING PARTS!!!! HELL NO!!! THE HYPE WASNT WORTH IT!!! AFTER THE 3RD PRINTER WAS SENT I DIDNT EVEN OPEN IT AND SENT IT BACK!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OMG!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!
As a newb to printing but a lifelong mechanic and technician (jet fighters on down, industrial machinery etc) and computer enthusiast of over two decades I would not recommend any Ender to someone who does not expect to fight questionable sloppy design choices (like the bed leveling hardware which doesn't retain adjustments) and awful HID on the control firmware user interface. Those are not choices made to save money, they're just lazy.
All Printers can do PLA-FLEX which is made by Atraxia art. Its super hydroscopic, but if you can keep it dry, man does it print nice. So much nicer than TPU, no smell, no special settings, just PLA mode and go. For all the effort and moaning about creality, you could've bought a Prusa MK3S+ and now they're the same price as the C5-S1.
Just bought the e5 on sale. I have 2 ender 3v2. I enjoyed the learning. Thanks for your vid.
Set it up to print and when u come back from work it will be done
Thank you I have been aggravated for days and you just solved the issue for me. How did I miss that voltage switch? 😂😂
It happens.
Same
If you're in the UK and it's set to US volts, bang, the power supply will blow. I guess that is why the switch default setting is European/UK setting
I have ender 5 s1 also. Wondering if yours makes loud hoot noise as head moves left couple times during auto bed leveling just before it prints?
No but mine is starting to give me issues
@@HalfChrome Thinking of buying it, can you clarify the issues you're having please? Thanks :)
Thermistor error. Looking into it.

Haven’t tried it yet

I hear you. I’m all for learning new things. Got into it myself for basically the same reason. It’s super handy but not super easy.
i got into quads searching for things to print on thingiverse
Im looking at 3d printers because I recently seen that you can print planes what printer did u get?

The 5 is better. Go for it

Did you get an answer?
None bamboo lab p1p or p1s
Thanks for confirming my suspicion that there's no way in heck I would have the patience to use one of these things. 😄

IS THIS PRINTER LOUD? OR QUIET/SILENT ?
Motors are a little loud and get louder the faster it goes but I don’t mind it
@@greatestever6325 Don't print in the same room as you stay in, they release micro particles. I put mine in a closet.
@@klaus6178that depends on the filament you're printing with
@@MordasMakesStuff No it doesn't. All filaments release the particles. Even PLA.

I’m moaning about printing in general. But I’ve had better luck with prusa
My Printer (for Paper) makes more problems then the 3D printer lol

Not at all but people need to realize it takes some work.
