- In this video I remove and fix a leaking carb. Would be nice if it helps someone or even it is slightly entertaining! Like and subscribe if it did either. Thanks for taking your valuable time to watch

Pretty cool ride! Love the video.
Super helpful thanks for share it with us 😉
Just bought my first bike a Gs650 1982 to build a cafe style bike
And that was one of my issues 😅
turn that valve off primer, otherwise the tank will keep on pouring gas by gravity into your carbs and back into your cylinders and dilute your engine oil. reserve and on positions allow gas flow ONLY when the petcock senses vacum pull....[when the enigine is starting or running]....but primary will flow nonstop!
The float is supossed to seal and not let fuel pour into the cylinder
Hola amigo, tengo un problema con mi motoclitea, le cuesta estar encendida por mucho tiempo, siento que la chispa en la bobina no es la correcta, deberia revisar los carburadores de igual manera?
Hey! Wich carb do you take vacuum from? To the petcock? Second or third? I have a gs850 -79 that wont run on third cylinder because the fuel isnt getting inside there
My 850 stood 10 years the petrol gone to varnish I've stripped minuki carbs but valve bodies won't move I've had soaking in cleaner trie wd 40 still stuck any ideas how to free up please
Couple ideas off the top of my head.... could try ultrasonic cleaner. Harbor Frieght has them pretty cheap. If the float needle is what's stuck could pull the clip off from inside the valve sleeve then remove the sleeve to get more access to put more penetrating fluid, becareful with needle, don't force it they are delicate and if it breaks you have big problems. . Could apply heat.... I would not use propane, but maybe a heat gun or put in oven. Heat will expand metal and might free up the gunk so you can get it free.... might take time soaking as well. I would say take your time. I freed a few pistons on an old 1975 honda with constant soaking and a little heat...over a few days. Good luck!!
Thanks for that I'll try the oven I did think of a hair dryer but don't know if it will get hot enough I did soak Clarke parts washer for a week cleaned everything else except bodies wonder if boiling water from the kettle might workilltry this weekend thanks for your help
I used hairdryer in the end worked a treat all freed up and removed 😂
