    I've been practicing this in my garage. I also put on a tape on the wall as an imaginary net and try to hit it just slightly above the tape.

    How hard are you supposed to hit against the wall? 100%? Or 60-80% of your full power?

    I guess I've been trying to do this too close to the wall 🤔. The shuttlecock always comes off the wall sideways after 2 shots.
    It never comes straight back to where I'm standing like that.

      I have the same problem, the shuttle hardly ever comes straight to me

    May I know how did your shuttle bounce back so consistently when hitting a concrete wall? I only found consistent shuttle bounce if hit against a wooden wall instead. And I only found feathered shuttle to work, not plastic ones.

    I will add with (1) better positioning of footworks with a dynamic movement (2) alway change the hitting speed with more variations in terms of angle and grip position (3) feel the shuttle cock- not just making a mechanical shot. By doing so, we can keep hitting for a longer time. I use this training also to ‘finish’ the shuttle cock given that we have killed the bird so better not to waste.
