@@goldenak25 Yes - Mounga is the best 10 in World Rugby right now and it's a loss to the world game that he's not playing at Test level - but it's what happens when Rugby is a professional sport and NZ is a small economy at the bottom of the world and NZ Rugby is trying to hold on to home grown talent and only picking players based here. Mounga playing in Japan is a bit like Hendrix playing down at the local open mic.
love a collar on a rugby shirt, Would love to see the All Blacks start off the Razor era with a win, but your English lads will provide a stern examination. That's why they're call Test matches.
It will considered as a success for both Ireland and England if they get just 1 win. Think England has beaten NZ at home a couple times throughout history but Ireland has only ever beaten SA once in SA and realistically I think a draw is the goal for both NH teams. If Eng and Ire both loose the 2 tests then there's going to be alot of negative talk about it.
Picking Beauden Barrett on the bench may be a signifier that he is there directly challenging DMac for the Fly Half role. The full back slot is also notable by the players who AREN’T there currently. Reuben Love and Will Jordan especially.
Ah, the old field nuns, then hope and pray approach? I like it. Seriously, the collar is too big and I’m getting Nun vibes, for sure. SH whitewash incoming.
I think this game will be closer than a lot of people imagine. England with convincing results mixing in with the best in the world, took SA to one point, Ireland and France 3 point games, all due respect to New Zealand they are the favourites but I think England will surprise a lot of people. Ofc it’s England though they could get pantsed as well.
@@ssmcfadyen8520 yeh 100% scrum is a weak area for us and NZ will have a better front row but I just think England have been building as well and given the notable absences from the NZ side I think we’ve got a real shot. NZ always have the edge though but I’m happy we’re underdogs, hoping for a cracking game and I’m sure it will be.
@Dihedrals totally agree with you. I think Abs will need to dig deep to win. England are a powerhouse and can beat any team on any day. No matter what happens, I'm hoping for an injury free, card free game.! ❤
I think you are being very kind with your combined 23 selection!! IFW and Ben Earl are the only guys who a NZ coach would pick if he had access to our players.
stunning understanding of nz rugby, stunning understaning of rugby in general. spot on analysis, i would have had one or two more kiwis over thee nglish in the combined squad but i am extremely one-eyed like any kiwi. 🙂
I'm not torn on the new jersey - it sucks. Nullifying Earls is a key aim for the ABs, particularly for the tight forwards. The AB front row and it's front row bench is where it will go belly up for England, eliminating the platform that the vaunted England loosies want and their 9 - 10 need. Look out for Asafo Aumua when he comes on - it hurts playing against Asafo Aumua.
Im a kiwi, and if we lose it’s gonna be disastrous for Razor’s tenure. The country will go into mourning and flashbacks of Fozzie PTSD will begin to leach into our national psyche. Possibly, the new ABs jersey collar is a hedging of bets with God and Razor
Nah, Razor would be fine. It'd be way too early for mourning and wailing - he needs to start somewhere and he's only had 10 fecking days. Us ABs fan would just have to suck it up.
I reckon there will have been a lot of drills on tackle height in training - and Sam Cane was at training to remind the whole team that they need to get it right!
What could be cooler than a gang of nuns smashing it up the middle? Anyway, pretty good selection, bit conservative. I think Christie is a better game manager than Perenara, and the wings are a coin toss, they’re all in form. Jordan will walk back in when fit unless Perofeta plays 10/10 games, likewise Roigard.
With all active players available 1de groot 2 tukiahao 3 lomax 4 scott b 5 patty t 6 frizell 7 ardie 8 finau 9 roigard 10 dmac 11 clarke 12jordie 13 reiko 14 telea 15 will jordan 16aumua 17williams 18ofa 19 vaii 20ethan 21tj 22 alb 23 faianganuku
I think you'll find that CHIEFS fans have been clamouring for dmac at 10. If Mounga was there he'd be an automatic selection. 9/10 is where I'm worried the most for the abs. Every ten in that team are converted 15s and not sold on dmac as a test ten as he may be exciting to watch but there's reason he's been an impact player. Jordie at 12 to be heavily utilised as a controlled playmaker I would think

@@2halves12 Hence Hendrix just roamed along the watchtower mate!
love a collar on a rugby shirt, Would love to see the All Blacks start off the Razor era with a win, but your English lads will provide a stern examination.
AB will be too violent for Marcus .. he will disappear
Just like he "disappeared" the last time they played? Wasn't that when the ABs smashed England 25-25 at Twickenham?
Picking Beauden Barrett on the bench may be a signifier that he is there directly challenging DMac for the Fly Half role. The full back slot is also notable by the players who AREN’T there currently. Reuben Love and Will Jordan especially.
I don't like the white collar so they should def keep it forever😂
Ah, the old field nuns, then hope and pray approach? I like it.
Seriously, the collar is too big and I’m getting Nun vibes, for sure. SH whitewash incoming.
hopefully we are emitting strong nun vibes when we get red carded and hopefully downgraded to a yellow
TJ is awesome one of my favorite scrum halves
Shirt meh - I liked the World Cup shirt much more
Never liked Adidas varied interpretation of the jersey that much what the hell is wrong with a simple white collar. Yech
NZ front row starting to build solid partnership, will be hard to beat , Earl best iof British in the mold of Savea never stops Savea to much class
@@ssmcfadyen8520 yeh 100% scrum is a weak area for us and NZ will have a better front row but I just think England have been building as well and given the notable absences from the NZ side I think we’ve got a real shot. I don’t think we’re favourites at all but I think the bookies having it at 12 points is crazy considering England’s past 6 results.
Beauden may not be the worst of the fullbacks but he is certainly the best impact player who can cover ten and fifteen. This may be tactical.
I think you are being very kind with your combined 23 selection!! IFW and Ben Earl are the only guys who a NZ coach would pick if he had access to our players.
George Martin has been absolutely immense in recent internationals but you’re probably right as NZ is pretty well satisfied with its pack.
stunning understanding of nz rugby, stunning understaning of rugby in general. spot on analysis, i would have had one or two more kiwis over thee nglish in the combined squad but i am extremely one-eyed like any kiwi. 🙂
Say what you will about Nuns on the Run, but they named their squad in the correct numbering format. Gotta give them that at lease.
Pray for Marcus !!
Thanks for the content 🙌
Another thing we've been waiting for...Ardie at 7. Guess we'll continue to wait. Oh and ANOTHER thing we've been waiting for...specialist centres.
Finau needs to watch his tackle height, he has a lot of previous !
I reckon there will have been a lot of drills on tackle height in training - and Sam Cane was at training to remind the whole team that they need to get it right!
"I want to focus on the rugby"
Good man 👍
TIm, you have your finger on the pulse of rugby. Keep it up!
With all active players available
1de groot 2 tukiahao 3 lomax
4 scott b 5 patty t
6 frizell 7 ardie 8 finau
9 roigard 10 dmac
11 clarke 12jordie 13 reiko 14 telea 15 will jordan
16aumua 17williams 18ofa 19 vaii 20ethan 21tj 22 alb 23 faianganuku
I think you'll find that CHIEFS fans have been clamouring for dmac at 10. If Mounga was there he'd be an automatic selection. 9/10 is where I'm worried the most for the abs. Every ten in that team are converted 15s and not sold on dmac as a test ten as he may be exciting to watch but there's reason he's been an impact player. Jordie at 12 to be heavily utilised as a controlled playmaker I would think
TOO Preachy🤣🤣🤣 Blessed be the cloth😂😂😂...a Crusader vibe😮😊
