it is all about riding comfort. if the preload settings is to stiff and the road your traversing is not smooth asphalt and has pot holes or the surface is uneven then you will grow muscles on your butt after a long ride. if the preload is soft, make sure the road your traveling is a good road, meaning asphalt road with even surface. too soft the preload settings, you are susceptible to a very painful "thud" if you encounter a very deep pot hole.

Good day Zack, I got this and I found out it is really hard to turn even when I lifted the wheel from the ground. My rod is bend now. Is there anyway to make it easier to be adjust ?
of course. but your metal stick might hit other stuff like your air filter and wheels thus giving you very limited angle to turn. Better to adjust your shock when its not attached.

Either one of them is ok. Ang mahalaga is USE SHOCK SPECIFICALLY MADE for nmax. Dapat NMAX nakalagay sa box. At dapat genuine YSS or Racing boy. wag kna mag class A

Try to experiment. You are relatively light, but if you ride aggresively, you might need more stiffness. It all depends.
