There are instances where it is simply too complex to arrange a burial and cremation is a far more viable option. As an example, elderly expat retirees here in the Philippines obviously die from time to time and it’s far easier to ship home an urn of ashes than a body. I personally feel that burial is the preferred method simply because that was standard practice in Biblical times. For example Joseph’s bones were carried out of Egypt … a dead man was tossed onto Elisha’s bones and instantly sprang back to life, etc. it’s like the Valley Of Bones in Ezekiel as opposed to a ‘valley of ashes’ … but of course God isn’t fazed by ashes or bones when He brings people back to life in the near future
If cremation were a sin, then millions of Gods people will be lost.....millions were burned at the stake, and many of us have been poor all our life and can never afford a funeral....even a cremation is a stretch now

I got a friend her parents passed away with few months after the other , they were cremated and she mixed the ashes with potting mix , put them in a big flower pot and she planted with beautiful flowering plants and placed the pots right at the middle of her backyard . I always felt uncomfortable with the intentional destruction of the body after death, but eventually even buried bodies rot and decay. I don’t need a large nor fancy funeral either just close loved ones gather at my favorite place say a prayer and bury my ashes and go on and live a good life.
If God can raise someone who was burned to death, drowned and eaten by fish, or create people by the word of His mouth He can surely can restore us from ashes.

Especially wkrh the scripure stating you sleep death until Jesus come for the second time. Unfortunately sometimes surviving family members make the call on creation when a family member passes. So if you don't want it you better make plans. Another issue is this. When a family member passes unexpectedly the body is sometimes committed to medical research.
I'm so happy Bro Sed Miles explained the superficiality of( apartheidic) discrimination. I had been invited to Rio several times and finally went in 2013. I experienced the "oh you're American!" then they switch their attitude. Apartheid values are even in the home... That was the biggest shocker to me.
Very interesting topic and good information to ponder. It seems like a foolish thing to be concerned about but it does bother some people. It is not an easy decision to make for some reason.
I appreciate this short and to-the-point presentation over cremation. Your reference to Mt.27:52-53 regarding the resurrection of some saints is curious. I am wondering if you could do a presentation in more detail over the same. I am currently of the understanding that those saints which rose after their graves were opened, went into the holy city (Jerusalem of that day), and appeared to many. Not unlike the account of Lazarus of John 11 &12,..many did see him, and while we are not told when, he too died another death. Can we not think the same happened to those saints?
My husband and I plan on being cremated and we ask our pastor about it and he said God knows everything, even where our bodies will be. The only one important question. Is Jesus Christ your savior. If not make him your savior today and do not put if off. (John 3:16). Good video.😀

There are Freedom Rallys going on all over the world and I encourage you all to gather outreach teams in your churches to attend these Rallys and give out literature and bring people to Jesus. We only have a short amount of time to spread the word! Now is the time!!! We have never had an opportunity to witness to large numbers of people like we do now. This may help those who fear cremation. According to the law of conservation of mass, it states that in a chemical reaction, mass is neither created nor destroyed. Burning is a chemical reaction. If we could gather everything after a body is burned, the ashes, heat, smoke and tiny bone fragments, etc, it would all together have the same mass as the person did. Nothing is impossible for God.
I chose cremation. No one comes to visit me while I’m alive. There sure as heck, aren’t coming to see me while I’m dead. Besides as soon as my earthly life is over, my soul is immediately gone, the body is just a shell at that point.
My husband was a Vietnam Veteran, wanting burial in Military Cemetery, cremation was the answer, because of limited burial space. His ashes were. So he has a burial space.burued
It was like $300 to $500 for a cremation not very long ago. Since more people are choosing it, the robbery of the traumatized has been kicked up a notch.
73 yrs old now and surprised I'm still here. I think when I die I'm going to be cremated and then reside in the Great Lakes National cemetery, N/C as I'm a veteran of the USAF. It will probably be a safe place to be long into the future.

I worked for both of the largest reputable funeral corps in the country. Both my younger brothers died at the time I was leading my professional life. Aside from C-19 times, there are many ways to do burials now. I will not include C-19 in that comment. I've not been in family services in many years. I will look into that website, although what I have decided on is private, let us keep yearning and learning and sharing the word of Jesus's plan of salvation for those who earnestly A.S.K. Amen!
Sassy- we are souls in our bodies. Just a vessel. YESHUA is looking for souls Looking to destroy the evil ones. IT’s truly a spiritual war we find ourselves in.❤
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The Powers that be are pushing financial cost of burial so high, almost like they wish to force Christians into cremation.
As long as your name is written in the Book of Life, cremation or burial is irrelevant: the Lord WILL reform you and raise you up from the state of death. I highly recommend anyone read Ezekiel 37, it describes the amazing process of resurrection in detail, if you're curious. After all nothing is impossible with Him! God bless you all, stay safe and protected in His love. 🙏🏼❤️
Hello Pastor Doug, please explain the origin of having funeral services in the church. Is it biblical to bring a dead body into the house of God. Shalom
My body is an empty husk when I die, I do not care what is done with it (have a family plot where I have a spot, can only take an urn). I get a new body when I resurrect
I am going Green burial My pine box is in my shed waiting for me l have my grave stone already on my grave site I won’t spend all that $ for those caskets they sell Its all about $ And the casket goes in the ground and rots What a waste of $ And my body goes back to dirt All l care about is my spirit goes to be with the lord and l will have a new body And forever be with the lord Praise. God
In Orlando Fl, I have not found a funeral home willing to do a green burial. Gainesville (?) Has one but my husband is concerned about trying to coordinate it at our age and funeral homes unwillingness to assist.
Is being buried in a grave in the ground the same as being put in a tomb. When the Pastor mentions buried I am confused. The stone was rolled away from the tomb that Jesus was laid. I guess the terms are confusing. Is being put in a mausoleum the same as being buried?
Cremation is a lot cheaper than burial and does not. The Bible say dust. You came dust your return. I'm going to be cremated and I believe when God raised me from the dead I'm not going to need my old body because he's going to give me a new body
Our whole family has chosen cremation easier to move when moving and the urns will be buried in a plot too. Only one person chosen to be scattered in a lake and half of the ashes to be buried with the parents. I prefer it over body decomposition.
If God was able to create Adam from the dust of the ground,he doesn’t need us to help him know where to find us at resurrection, he can just form us from the ground.
I think common sense should tell us. Christians who were burned for faith will be raised again. One who believes in Jesus dies from fire or another tragic way, say at sea, will return.
God knows you by your soul, not a decayed body or ashes ❤❤❤

We will be judged by our choices and if those choices have pleased God.
If God can raise someone who was burned to death, drowned and eaten by fish, or create people by the word of His mouth He can surely can restore us from ashes.
God doesn't restore our bodies, get a clue lady.. our souls continue on forever
Enjoyed
I was very concerned. Especially with covid 19 in South Africa the sying rate were high. We did not have a choice to have a burial but cremated. Especially wkrh the scripure stating you sleep death until Jesus come for the second time. It givea me a peace of mind that my sister which was a strong and faithful believer is going to have salvation. Thanks for this video
Love ur semons.
I learned a lot from this! Thank you! I should have a burial 🙏🏽.
Greatly anticipating this! I'm guessing that since God can call into being those things which do not exist makes the point moot?
To limit GOD seems so wrong.
Very interesting topic and good information to ponder. It seems like a foolish thing to be concerned about but it does bother some people. It is not an easy decision to make for some reason.
Difficult for me
@@SterlingsOpinion Understandable.
AMEN!!
My husband and I plan on being cremated and we ask our pastor about it and he said God knows everything, even where our bodies will be. The only one important question. Is Jesus Christ your savior. If not make him your savior today and do not put if off. (John 3:16). Good video.😀
This is Awesome
***ATTENTION*** BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Now is the time to spread the 3 Angels messages - especially the 3rd message. There are SDA's outreach teams attending huge Freedom Rally's all over Australia and giving out Great Controversy books and others books such as Sunday Law or pamphlets and witnessing for Jesus. God bless you all as we go into unprecedented times.
Apparently more people accepted the jehovas witness pamphlets at the freedom rally, the other millerite group
amen…. Thank you..
In whatever manner believers die their bodies return to dust where they came from and their spirits return to the creator..God will them new bodies.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏
Amen!
I'm looking into Green burial ,niether cremation or burial in a cement casket in the ground .
Woe
I wonder if “coming to the grave in peace” doesn’t just indicate one’s spiritual state at death.
Amen 🖐 🙏
Sassy- we are souls in our bodies. Just a vessel.
YESHUA is looking for souls
Looking to destroy the evil ones.
IT’s truly a spiritual war we find ourselves in.❤
My Mother 👩 passed away here in the UK and I take the body back to Antigua 🇦🇬 where we were born and Laid her to rest with her mother 👩 and father 👨.
Amen 🙏🏼
A lot of us can’t afford to be buried. The plot, stone, etc…. Way too expensive. What do we do in that case?
The choice lies with individual
Amen 🙏🏽
Yesss
Jesus Christ is our example and he wasn't cremated.
Is being buried in a grave in the ground the same as being
put in a tomb. When the Pastor mentions buried I am
confused. The stone was rolled away from the tomb that Jesus was laid. I guess
the terms are confusing. Is
being put in a mausoleum the
same as being buried?
Cremation is a lot cheaper than burial and does not. The Bible say dust. You came dust your return. I'm going to be cremated and I believe when God raised me from the dead I'm not going to need my old body because he's going to give me a new body
Our whole family has chosen cremation easier to move when moving and the urns will be buried in a plot too. Only one person chosen to be scattered in a lake and half of the ashes to be buried with the parents. I prefer it over body decomposition.
Revelations Ch. 20 says that the sea will give up the dead. To me, that would be similar to ashes.
If God was able to create Adam from the dust of the ground,he doesn’t need us to help him know where to find us at resurrection, he can just form us from the ground.
But in the bible times, the family wrapped them in linen and put them in a cave.......no mortician and greed involved
Not truly buried on my opinion. They were above ground in a cave.
Burial may be the preferred choice but NOTHING is impossible with GOD!!!
Ashes to ashes dust to dust. My ashes will be spread on my wife’s grave. A lot of cemeteries are not visited due to travel and work load.
I think common sense should tell us. Christians who were burned for faith will be raised again. One who believes in Jesus dies from fire or another tragic way, say at sea, will return.
And yet many people have no common sense
