I will pray, but I have had this happen in my family. And that person has been coming back to God. It can be a slow road. But pray and have faith God has heard your prayer and that he will work on your son's heart! Faith and prayer go such a long way!!
What makes you think it’s a few years? Could it be based on these verses that it’s only a few months? Revelation 18:23, Amos 8:12, Jeremiah 51 particularly verses 1,6-9, 33-34, 44-53, Hosea 6:1-3 and Joel 1: 5, 10-20, and 2:1.. Also take a look at Ezekiel 38.

I am not a 7th Day Adventist, but I have Huge respect for Pastor Batchelor. In 2009 I completed a Bible Study course by him. I had a major crisis in faith. I needed God. I needed to know Him and understand His will. I found the Bible Study just when I needed it most on Amazing Facts. It saved me. It helped me. And while I am a sinner, I understand many things better. I will always be a sinner. This is a fact, but God loves us so much that he gave us a way to be saved through His Son, Jesus Christ. Am I saying I am going to Heaven? No. Only God can say that and Jesus is my judge. I am saying that I am trying. Even with my daily failures, there is hope. Every day I fail and every day I keep trying. I believe THAT is what God wants. Keep trying, keep moving forward, and keep the Bible close to your heart. Pass on what you have learned. Teach your children. Forgive those that wrong you (this is difficult) and ALWAYS trust Jesus and believe the Written Word, for it is truth. Absolutely agree wholeheartedly with your comment; the bible is so fascinating; the Word of God shows us how to get through this life which is so short when compared to eternity. The parallels throughout the bible, and biblical history connects all together in types, codes, numerics, acrostics, links etc and is so fascinating, I just can't stop learning and reading it, everyday I find something new, the more I learn the more I want to learn; and am sure there is so much more to learn. Every event, person, story of the bible has significance; and all points to the end days, and the end of this flesh world.

For instance, when understanding His coming at His "second coming" in the clouds we know that He comes to destroy the wicked with the brightness of His coming and rapture up the living saints. All of it fits nicely. We do not have a problem with a "rapture" it's only the timing of it.

Since I was little, I knew about the final plagues but as I grew up I never took time to study it. I set up my mind to "Daniel and Revelation books are DIFFICULT, I'll learn it later." mindset. That mindset lead me to ignore the books, because everytime I heard pastors or any SDA people talked about these books I never pulled myself to listen to it closely and tried to understand it. I thought that I never could understand the lesson from it. I'm glad I watched 3 parts of your videos on this lesson. Thank you.

Daniel: Wisdom to the Wise is a commentary on the Book of Daniel, by Zdravko Stefanovic (Old Testament languages professor at WallaWalla University); and the companion book is Revelation of Jesus Christ, by Ranko Stefanovic (Professor of New Testament at the Seventh-Day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University). These are very in-depth books, but they are also very helpful.
Lisa stick to the Bible and the Bible only, it explains itself and it’s very clear. Just pray to God for the Holt spirit’s guidance before you start reading and for understanding. Extra books on the subject are usually someone else’s ideas that don’t necessarily reflect scriptural evidence.

Good and accurate teaching that is biblical! I've been studying eschatology since 1973 and the pre-tribulation rapture theory is not in the Bible, but is a doctrine of man that is inspired by the devil. Most people who believe in the pre-tribulation rapture don't feel it's necessary to study their Bible as they will not be here when the end of the age problems come. However Paul told us in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verses 1-5 that Jesus will not return for His saints until after the antichrist enter the Jewish Temple and after leaving it he will claim he is God and demand worship and many saints will fall away from the faith because at that time the born-again followers of Jesus will be killed. Jesus said in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 that He will return for His saints after the tribulation of those days not before the tribulation starts. As conditions in the world get much more difficult for Christians I believe many will start studying their Bibles and learn the truth about the end of the age and the return of Jesus at the 7th trumpet, also called the last trumpet. Luke chapter 17 verses 26 to 37 teach us that one day Jesus or His angels will guide us to safety as Noah, Lot and the Children of Israel during the Passover were saved by their obedience. The listed verses in Luke teach us to be watching and to obey and not to waste time entering our home for supplies even if we are on the roof of our own home. Luke 17 verses 26 to 37 teach us about the importance of urgency, watching and obeying the Lord's directions.

When reading about the plagues in Revelation 16, the last thing it says is Jesus coming in the clouds, so it certainly does not support us being taken to Heaven before the plagues when it has Jesus coming at the END of the list rather than the beginning.

For instance, when understanding His coming at His "second coming" in the clouds we know that He comes to destroy the wicked with the brightness of His coming and rapture up the living saints. Since I was little, I knew about the final plagues but as I grew up I never took time to study it. I set up my mind to "Daniel and Revelation books are DIFFICULT, I'll learn it later." mindset. That mindset lead me to ignore the books, because everytime I heard pastors or any SDA people talked about these books I never pulled myself to listen to it closely and tried to understand it. I thought that I never could understand the lesson from it. I'm glad I watched 3 parts of your videos on this lesson.

Daniel: Wisdom to the Wise is a commentary on the Book of Daniel, by Zdravko Stefanovic (Old Testament languages professor at WallaWalla University); and the companion book is Revelation of Jesus Christ, by Ranko Stefanovic (Professor of New Testament at the Seventh-Day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University). These are very in-depth books, but they are also very helpful.
Lisa stick to the Bible and the Bible only, it explains itself and it’s very clear. Just pray to God for the Holt spirit’s guidance before you start reading and for understanding. Extra books on the subject are usually someone else’s ideas that don’t necessarily reflect scriptural evidence.

I've been studying eschatology since 1973 and the pre-tribulation rapture theory is not in the Bible, but is a doctrine of man that is inspired by the devil.
Most people who believe in the pre-tribulation rapture don't feel it's necessary to study their Bible as they will not be here when the end of the age problems come.
However Paul told us in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 verses 1-5 that Jesus will not return for His saints until after the antichrist enter the Jewish Temple and after leaving it he will claim he is God and demand worship and many saints will fall away from the faith because at that time the born-again followers of Jesus will be killed.
Jesus said in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 that He will return for His saints after the tribulation of those days not before the tribulation starts.
As conditions in the world get much more difficult for Christians I believe many will start studying their Bibles and learn the truth about the end of the age and the return of Jesus at the 7th trumpet, also called the last trumpet.
Luke chapter 17 verses 26 to 37 teach us that one day Jesus or His angels will guide us to safety as Noah, Lot and the Children of Israel during the Passover were saved by their obedience. The listed verses in Luke teach us to be watching and to obey and not to waste time entering our home for supplies even if we are on the roof of our own home. Luke 17 verses 26 to 37 teach us about the importance of urgency, watching and obeying the Lord's directions.

When reading about the plagues in Revelation 16, the last thing it says is Jesus coming in the clouds, so it certainly does not support us being taken to Heaven before the plagues when it has Jesus coming at the END of the list rather than the beginning.
My Sunday friends believe same before tribulations taken away
