Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) WoW... is it profitable for a man to add or subtract from the Word of God? Why would St.John write about his 2nd revelation of the end? How about the revelation of St.Paul? Does it coincide with scripture? Is it possible The seducing spirits of the end days will be so widely accepted as they tickle the ears of believers that refuse to accept the judgment of the One True Righteous Judge? The Lord has been petitioned by the angels, water, sea, earth, sun to destroy the remnants of man for unrighteousness, yet the Lord say’s His patience is with us to repent and come back. But if they do not “I will judge them”....

I too had a catholic upbringing. I appreciate learning that what the church taught about hell was not true. Those who believe the teaching of the Bible know that hell is not a place of torment. Plus to think of God as a vindictive monster that tortures his creation is something that misrepresents his true nature. It is written that he would never even think such a thing. He is a loving God who works to make his creation happy and content. There's no way he would ever bring such wickedness to bring pain and suffering from his hand to punish the wickedness that he knows is a trait that Satan might have, but he would never have a hatred that would be used against those he is responsible for.

@@donerasmus1448 My brother in Christ, u are wrong. Soul its not eternal. It is written, God is the only one who is immortal (1 Thimothy 6:15-16). We are all mortals, we don't have an entity called soul, we were made souls, we are a living soul, Gen 2:7. Maybe ur version is written "living being" but in original is nephesh that means soul. The Bible is full of passages saying that the unjust its gonna be destructed. They shall be no more Psalms 37. In order to understand Rev 20:10 u need to do a deep study about what means "forever" in Bible, its not what we think nowadays, and the "everlasting fire" its a quality of Gods fire. No one can make it stop, only God can. The fire is everlasting until everything is burned down. See Sodoma and Gomora destruction, put as an exemple of will happen at the end times. Peace!

Keep your focus on growing in Christ and walking with Him daily, hourly, moment by moment. Remember the promise of John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

There is no room for an eternal hell after God finally restores perfection. God is love. He can't stand the evil in our world. To torture any human, who only lives a few decades, for eternity, is a vile thought. God winks at those who have less knowledge. He is merciful 🙏❤

If being in heaven and being in the presence of God is the ultimate place we can go, it is as described by people who claim to have been there and came back to life, the most beautiful place you can imagine, completely a peace, the best feeling in the world. If it is the pinnacle of where we could be then the people who don’t get there are missing out on the best thing that could ever happen to them right? The people who never get there, miss out on something that is better than the best thing that could happen or you could experience on earth as a human. So, if you miss out on that experience, isn’t that punishment enough? Isn’t the fact that you will never be in that existence, that you will never be in the presence of God enough of a punishment? I cannot believe that an all loving God would create a place of torture and misery for people to spend eternity in when just dying, like truly being dead would be punishment.

It's kind of like your kid wants to go to this party that his friends have been planning for weeks and he is really looking forward to it. Then 2 days before he does something that deserves punishment. You take away his ability to go to the party and your kid is bummed because he was wanting to be there, he was wanting to go. You know that will be severe enough of a punishment to get the point across. You wouldn’t say to yourself, uh yeah he’ll miss the party but I think for good measure I’m going to beat him and set him on fire. To me, if you died and you just no longer were, you just no longer existed thus never got to experience heaven, this seems to me like it would align with a loving God rather than one who said, yeah sorry you can’t get into heaven and to boot, you get to spend your eternity suffering. Seems sort of overkill. I have actually heard a few people state that hell is the absence of God so there are some who believe that. It’s just a really hard logic stretch for me to align an all loving being to eternal torment, especially when life itself is no picnic.

    Hello Brother Doug,
I greet you in the name of our Lord and savior Yeshua,
I have listened to most of your presentations and I have found them well thought out and insightful. May God continue to bless you and your house in your efforts.
I just listened to your presentation on “22 - "Is Hell a Place of Unending Torture?" - Doug Batchelor - SCM 2017”. I found your arguments well thought out and convincing regards to the destruction of the body and soul. I note you believe that the unrighteous that die without Christ will not live on for an eternity but rather their conscious being will come to an end (death).
I was hoping you would go to the verses that speak to an eternal torment but you never did. As you know, we must consider the entire Bible and not only the parts that support our belief. What we believe is not important, what is important is that we believe the Word, ALL of it and with no contradiction.
I will speak to what the word says about eternal torment and I will give my conclusion. I hope you can reply with your answer and show me my error in relation to what you believe. Thanks.
About the Devil’s period of torment - note, for ever and ever; notice also the reference to day and night (this is interpreted to mean there is no end to their torment and continuous/eternal). - It is written.
    (Rev 20:10 [KJV])
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Here we have the people that worship the beast, again, for ever and ever is used and again it includes they will have no rest day nor night (once more, this is interpreted, there is no end to their torment). No rest means forever. The text did not say rest will come at the end of three days or four years.. no rest is no rest and will always be no rest. - It is written.
    (Rev 14:11 [KJV])
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Now if you still say to me that for ever and ever (and no rest day or night) means for a short time, the following verse must also be for a short time. Notice, the same period is spoken of about God's glory and dominion - for ever and ever. Note: All the Greek words and sentence construction is the same for all the verses quoted in relation to for ever and ever. - It is written.
    (Rev 1:6 [KJV])
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; *to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever*. Amen.
In conclusion, if we interpret that God’s glory and dominion is eternal/everlasting (for ever and ever), then to be consistent, we must also conclude that the torment for the lost souls (plus satan and his angels) is eternal (for ever and ever). If on the other hand you say what applies to man does not apply to God, then you are not being consistent to what the text said and you are being bias in your interpretation. Hence you are in contradiction.
    What does destroy mean?
I will just say a little on destroy, as I note you see it as an end. I can tell you that there is no end to anything after its “destruction”. Why? Matter cannot be created or destroyed.
There is a scientific law called the Law of Conservation of Mass, discovered by Antoine Lavoisier in 1785. In its most compact form, it states: matter is neither created nor destroyed.
As believers we know that matter is created by God (so it can be created), but I again ask what does destroy mean?
When our body is burnt it is not destroyed but rather the state is changed. We return to the earth as dust. We have changed from molecules arranged in water to dust in air (without water). You can take a plane and blow (destroy) it up in a box, it is no longer a plane but all the pieces that made up the plane will be found in the box.
Let us look at the Greek word that was translated “destroy” that Yeshua used to describe the soul. You will notice it can also be translated perish, lose or die. Recall the story of the rich man in conversation with Abraham (both dead men). Also recall the many stories of people that have died and come back to life. They too tell stories about the afterlife and seeing Yeshua. What am I saying? Consciousness does not stop after our bodily functions cease. IMPORTANT: Death is not the end to our awareness.
    (Matt 10:28 [KJV])
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to *destroy* both soul and body in hell.
    Destroy = G622 ἀπόλλυμι apollumi (a-pol'-lï-miy) v.
    1. to destroy fully.
    2. (reflexively) to perish, or lose.
    {literally or figuratively}
[from G575 and the base of G3639]
KJV: destroy, die, lose, mar, perish
Now let us look at the Greek word translated destroy (or bring to an end) that Yeshua used in reference to the ending of the commandments. You will notice it is not the same Greek word and it speaks to a definitive end - dissolve, come to nought etc.
    (Matt 5:17 [KJV])
Think not that I am come to *destroy* the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
    Destroy = G2647 καταλύω kataluo (ka-ta-lï '-ō) v.
    1. to loosen down (disintegrate).
    2. (by implication) to demolish.
    3. (specially) to halt for the night.
    {literally or figuratively}
    [from G2596 and G3089]
KJV: destroy, dissolve, be guest, lodge, come to nought, overthrow, throw down
Based on my study on this subject, I cannot agree with you on your conclusion on the death of a person’s soul being a complete end. I believe as God’s glory is for ever and ever, the torment of the souls of the dammed is for ever and ever. If our Lord had used the same Greek word destroy on or about the souls of the dammed as He did for the commandments, it would merit some consideration in your favor; but He did not.
Lastly, you ask the question if the character of God is sadistic by having Him eternally tormenting people. I think you are applying your human mind and feelings to a God that is not like us. He is beyond our created imagination. For it is written.
    (Isa 55:8-9[KJV])
*For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD*. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Never realizing that is the worst mistake that they are making. There are way to many stubborn hearts and people in this world that never can be reached in any way, which is possession of their spirit and soul, it is stubbornness that let's this happen. Most Biblical translations don’t contain the word “Hell” even a single time.
The King James Bible, which is widely considered to be one of the most inaccurate translations, while also being a fixture in traditionalist Christian circles, contains the most mentions of “hell” at 54 occurrences. More accurate translations like the NASB and even the highly popular NIV show the word “hell” occurring between 13-14 times, ALL of which are found in the New Testament.
We’re going to look at each of these occurrences, but before we do, I’d like to put these numbers into perspective. Let’s look at how often more commonly used words are mentioned in the Bible:
    Heaven - 644 mentions
    Father - 944 mentions
    Evil - 657 mentions
    Law - 599 mentions
    Soul - 496 mentions
    Death - 456 mentions
    Judgement - 344 mentions
    Kingdom - 384 mentions
    Sin - 441 mentions
So just to review, we have Judgement mentioned 344 times, Sin mentioned 441 times, and Death mentioned 456 times, and yet we only see Hell mentioned 14 times in accurate translations.
    Doesn’t that seem weird?
If hell is such a central part of sin, judgment, and death, wouldn’t it get talked about at least half as often as these associated words? At this rate, Google wouldn’t even know to associate hell with these other words.
Furthermore, IF the common Evangelic view of Hell as a place of eternal, conscious torment is accurate, wouldn’t that warrant significantly more discussion than something like poverty, which is talked about over 2,000 times?
If God is actually planning on PERPETUALLY ROASTING BILLIONS OF PEOPLE, allowing them to permanently agonize for all of eternity… isn’t that a bit more pressing of a discussion than the 1203 words that are addressed more frequently?
Yes, I did the math, and I did it based on the KJV, giving Hell the benefit of the MOST possible occurrences. Even with 4 times the mentions of most translations, there are 1,203 words used more frequently.
Is God just super casual about being the cruelest, most perversely genocidal maniac in history? Or did we get the story wrong.
If you are a good Christian, like I used to be, your first question is going to be a very valid one, “Doesn’t Jesus speak about Hell?” The simple answer to that question is “no”, but in order to make that claim, I’m going to have to get my Greek on.
There Are The 4 Words Translated As “Hell”
Most of the confusion around Hell starts with translation error. There are four separate Hebrew and Greek words which are translated into the single English word “Hell”, despite having drastically different meanings.
    Sheol (Hebrew)
    Hades (Greek)
    Tartarus (Greek)
    Gehenna (Greek)
The English language is often very limited when trying to express certain concepts. A perfect Biblical example of this is the multiple Greek words translated to the single English word “Love”. Agape is a special version of love that speaks about God’s love toward humanity. Phileo speaks about brotherly love and Eros refers to sexual love or desire.
And just like “love”, the English word “hell” is unilaterally translated from the Greek and Hebrew words Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, and Tartarus, each of which have different meanings.
    1. Sheol (H7585)
‎שׁאל שׁאול she’ôl she’ôl sheh-ole’, sheh-ole’ From H7592; hades or the world of the dead (as if a subterranian retreat), including its accessories and inmates: - grave, hell, pit.
    2. Hades (G86)
ᾅδης hadēs hah’-dace From G1 (as a negative particle) and G1492; properly unseen, that is, “Hades” or the place (state) of departed souls: - grave, hell.
    3. Gehenna (G1067)
γέεννα geenna gheh’-en-nah Of Hebrew origin ([H1516] and [H2011]); valley of (the son of) Hinnom; gehenna (or Ge-Hinnom), a valley of Jerusalem
    4. Tartarus (G5020)
ταρταρόω tartaroō tar-tar-o’-o From Τάρταρος Tartaros̄ (the deepest abyss of Hades); to incarcerate in eternal torment: - cast down to hell.
Below, I’ve listed the full 13 times “Hell” is used in the NASB translation of the Bible. Sheol and Hades are always correctly translated as “the grave” in the NASB and other more accurate translations, which is why you don’t see any references below. I’ve included those words in our discussion simply because they will come up incorrectly as “Hell” in the KJV.
You’ll notice that NONE of the above 4 words actually translate to Hell. The closest is Hades, which is derived from Greek mythology and is never actually translated to “Hell” in academically accepted translations. Sheol and Hades are both always translated as “death” or “the grave” in the NASB and other more accurate translations. And as we are about to see, neither Tartarus nor Gehenna can be correctly translated as “Hell” either.
In other words, “Hell” is NOT actually in the Bible.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. The goal is to live for Christ so that you won't have to find out what happens in hell however for those that to end up there and believe as Doug believes, they are in for a rude awakening. Hell is eternal and the word is clear on it. You can't explain away what is so clear in the bible by saying it doesn't really mean that. The story of Lazarus and the rich man is NOT a parable. No where does the bible indicate it is. I would exit from this doctrine. It is not what the bible clearly teaches.

John 3:16 clearly states …”that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” It doesn’t say both groups get eternal life.

Everyone listening to this please read the verses below found in Ezekiel 28 God tells you exactly what Satan looked like when he created him he refers to him in these verses. Don’t get confused verse 12 starts out with Ezekiel talking to the king of Tyre In the previous verses Ezekiel was talking to the prince of Tyre but in verse 12 he starts talking to the king of Tyre which is the evil spirit behind the prince of Tyree. God makes it clear in these verses that Ezekiel is not prophesising about a human being please read the verses. If you keep reading the chapter it’s actually a prophecy about Satans destruction
Ezekiel chapter 28 verse 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from The midst of the stones of fire.

Another thing to look at if pastor Doug hasn't mentioned it.(sorry just started watching. forgive me if he has) if the wages of sin is forever burning and being tortured. What is Jesus doing in heaven if He is paying the penalty. He should(based on that analogy)still be in "hell" burning on our behalf forever and ever. That just how I looked at it before I heard a similar sermon in the past by pastor doug. God bless you family.😀👍

@@tonydardi332 please refer to the conditions of the people in Noah's day and sodom and gomorrah days and why God looked upon these people He created and said it's enough. If people will not turn away of their wicked ways(that affect others) than life will go on non stop sickness, mourning, and crying. The things that God promised to rid the world so that those who actually did choose to turn from their sinful ways can have another chance at eternal life. Sin will no longer frustrate, influence, nor have an impact on anything pure, peaceful, and good.

A very touchy subject, read Rev 20:10. The beast and the false prophets are humans and they were thrown into hell alive. And the bible clearly states their punishment is eternal cos they will share the same fate with the devil. The fact that you are worried is a good sign, you will be saved. Just hand your inadequacies to Jesus, He has done everything for you on the cross. Tell your concerns to Jesus and He will comfort you. What you have is a healthy fear.

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

    Is Hell eternal conscious torment?
There are some Christian groups and many cults that deny the idea that hell, in the general sense, means eternal, conscious punishment. Some maintain that God’s eternal punishment is annihilation or non-existence. Others say it is temporal, and that eventually all will be saved out of hell. Perhaps the most common objection is that a loving God would never punish people in eternal torment. We agree that God is love (1 John 4:8), but He is also just (Neh. @-33; 2 Thess. 1:6) and eternal (Psalm 90:2; 1 Tim. @). God punishes the evildoer (Isaiah 11:13), and this punishment will be eternal. But the question remains, is this eternal punishment conscious or not?

Rev 20:10 and the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown, There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
This means that it will be eternal torment forever and ever .
This is the same place where those whose names are not written in the book of life will be cast .
    So it will be eternal.
Now the bible says that hell with give up its dead to be judged, it means that there is hell, a spiritual place where those who die not in christ go.

“And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?”
It says torment before the appointed time. This simply means that the demons knew that there is an appointed time where they will be tormented. And that is when they will be thrown in the lake of fire together with satan.

One will develop the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit regardless of the label of religions or denominations :
    Love... Peace... Joy... Faithfulness...
    Patience... Goodness... Gentleness...
    Kindness... Self Control........
These are the goals of all good religions whether you are Catholic... Orthodox... Protestants... Buddhist... Hindu...Muslim
Those religions who produce opposite fruits are from the enemy of God or the Anti Christ as the Bible call the evil force

@Glen Swain - Paul didn't say he would immediately be with the Lord, in fact he talks about a time between this life and the next. Also the rapture is this, (spoken of in 1 Thess 4 ) "The Lord will descend from heaven with a "shout", with the "voice" of an archangel, and with the "trumpet" of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then, we who are alive and remain will be "caught up" ('rapture' means 'caught up' - look it up) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words."
This will obviously not be secret, or immediate! - It will be at the second coming, where the righteous are sleeping and waiting to hear the voice of the Savior to wake them.
And here is Paul speaking about the time between His death and his resurrection: "For in this tent (this earthly body) we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling (body) because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. So while we are in this tent, we groan under our burdens, because we do not wish to be unclothed (the time between this body and the heavenly body) but clothed, so that our mortality may be swallowed up by life.

The punishment of the wicked dead in hell is described throughout Scripture as “eternal fire” (Matthew 25:41), “unquenchable fire” (Matthew 3:12), “shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2), a place where “the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44-49), a place of “torment” and “fire” (Luke 16:23-24), “everlasting destruction” (2 Thessalonians 1:9), a place where “the smoke of torment rises forever and ever” (Revelation 14:10-11), and a “lake of burning sulfur” where the wicked are “tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10).
The punishment of the wicked in hell is as never ending as the bliss of the righteous in heaven. Jesus Himself indicates that punishment in hell is just as everlasting as life in heaven (Matthew 25:46). The wicked are forever subject to the fury and the wrath of God. Those in hell will acknowledge the perfect justice of God (Psalm 76:10). Those who are in hell will know that their punishment is just and that they alone are to blame (Deuteronomy 32:3-5). Yes, hell is real. Yes, hell is a place of torment and punishment that lasts forever and ever, with no end. Praise God that, through Jesus, we can escape this eternal fate (John 3:16, 18, 36).

    ~ Matthew 13:34
"With many such parables Jesus spoke the word to them, to the extent that they could understand.

@UCEV2D4pJR2F3vwTHmfS9aXg It's not ME who says it's a parable, Brother... It's the BIBLE:
"Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables. He did not tell them anything without using a parable."
As for the proper names, I have 'heard' this: There were Jewish leaders in the crowd, listening for ways to condemn Jesus, and of course He knew this. This particular day took place not long after the raising of Lazarus, which in those times probably had everyone buzzing! ~ So, that name was like, in the news. ~
And it made the Pharisees hate Him more, and begin to plan His death. So, if you can see the story in that light, you will find it making sense as a parable. The Jews thought of "Abraham's Bosom" as a symbolic place one went when one died - so it was a symbol they could identify with, in Jesus' Story. ..as was the name "Lazarus."
The kicker is at the end of the story: “But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ But Abraham said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded, even if someone rises from the dead.’ ”
Here, in my opinion, this parable was POINTEDLY directed at the Pharisees present. The raising of Lazarus from the dead should have been proof to them that Jesus was the Messiah He claimed to be. But there was also so very much proof in Moses and the Prophets, that would convince anyone with an open heart.
The Pharisees' hearts were closed, however, to the scriptures they were supposed to be teaching the people, and even to the raising of the dead, which did not convince them.
Make sense? It does to me. Thank you for caring, studying, and growing!
Keep it up! See you on the Great Day, I hope! Hugs..

Is Abraham a parable in the scriptures?

It's better to understand than to know, Jesus talked about because Abraham wasn't a fictional figure to the jews, they refer Abraham as their father, Jesus said once that before Abraham "l am" proof of is deity and knows even before he was born or came in flesh.May we not get to hell before we realize it.

@@ozeelove1849 No, Abraham was a real historical figure; only Jesus' parable, about a fictitious place they thought they went when they died, was. Get to know your Bible better, Brother, and keep close to Him til He comes back. He promised to 'be with you always, until the end of this age!'

@@sonlit2602 Jesus wasn't talking about a fictitious place. I know Adventists change the meaning of everything in the bible to align with the heresy of Investigative Judgement. They even rearrange the words on Luke 23:43 so as to promote the 'Soul sleep' doctrine. Also they claim to follow the bible alone but they always incorporate Ellen White's writings

What about Lazarus and the rich man? It seems to me a real story given as an example. Speaking of the state of the souls the apostle Paul writes that for him is better to be absent from the body and to be with the Lord. State in which the righteous will be until the resurrection.

Hello friend, I realize it’s a difficult topic but it’s a must to take all the scriptures on the topic and compare them to get the right answer.
John 3:16 clearly states …”that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” It doesn’t say both groups get eternal life.
The Scripture is clear that God is just in all His ways. There will be a lake of fire at the end that will have eternal results but it will not burn for eternity. How would it possibly be just to burn someone for the ceaseless ages of eternity for a short life of sin?
