      I love brunswickers too. They have the nice black braid and blue cuffs. There are a bunch of them in Australia out in Queensland I think.

    ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Shako and Busby and your Hussar Uniform is amazing.
    I hope to see a video of you getting dressed in that Hussar Uniform and how long it takes for you to put them on.
    Hope that you do not Time Lapse it,cause I would like to see the Hussar uniform in detail as you wear each piece.

      I'm not unfortunately. I would love to be but there are no clubs or schools for military sabre in my part of the world.

      @@Theduckwebcomics Aw, for the real fun of it you should have a go for the sabre fencing! Incredibly exciting and aesthetic too!!! (Well being a ferrophiliac, I might be excused for a certain enthusiasm, but fencing IS a kind of dancing-with-blades...)

    What is the busby made of?

    • @Theduckwebcomics
      @Theduckwebcomics  5 лет назад +2

      Unlike a real busby it's made out of ostrich feathers 😄
      They were taken from an old damaged Scotch piper's headdress.
      One of the background characters wears one like that in the One Week music video by the Bare Naked Ladies. I've always loved the look. I plan to make a black fur one eventually.

    Thought it was called a colpack not a busby which think is a British term for them.

    • @Theduckwebcomics
      @Theduckwebcomics  3 года назад

      It has as many names as there were countries that had hussars in them :)
      Colpack is the French name, Busby is the name in English speaking countries, Pelzmütze is for the German speaking places, it's also called a "kolpak". In English the bag on the side is the "colpack".
      None of the names are "correct", you should just use the right name for your language.
