It's not really an official SOAD album. Just a collection of leaked songs that SOAD decided to release on a disc after the fact.

Holy Mountains should've been on here. Also, I may be in the minority, but every single time I listen to "War?" I get goosebumps... Right at the time that Serj is singing very softly and its building back up to explode into the chorus. I also really like "Old School Hollywood," and their cover of "Metro" is amazing.

I don't know how people can pick 10 songs of a band and call them "the best of" especially with System. I can understand a "our favorite" "our top songs of" kind of list, but never a "best of". For me all their songs are great. the best, art, I love them and all their songs.
SOAD was the very first band (or probably tied with Sabbath) where I legit liked EVERY song they had. That was a fun time as a teenager

i went into this knowing i would hate this list. i came out mistaken. yeah..chop suey, aerials, byob..over rated as fuck but theyre decent tracks and singles for a reason. some of my top favs tho are psycho, spiders, peephole, soil, p.l.u.c.k. the list goes on and im glad some made it on this list but if you're a true system fan like im sure most of us on here are, every song is the best song. i could never pick a top 10 cuz that would change every hour of every day. this band is amazing and they changed my life. they say never meet ur heros but i would kill a few crocked polititians if it meant i could spend a day with daron man idgaf
I agree on some parts, but I really personally did not like most of the Hypnotize album However, I was very disappointed to not see a single song from the "Steal This Album" album on this list, as some of those songs on there were just amazing.
+Gray Udoroth oh hell yeah, like ADD, Mr. Jack Highway Song, Streamline, all incredible. Top ten best lists are always catered toward the single lovers but never the less, if the list even was fan made it will always be subjective. Everyone has their own favorite 10 and it so various from person to person that it can only be opinion based and not factual. On another note, I hated hypnotize growing up. Mezmerize and Hypnotize to me, symbolized the change and fall of the once great Nü metal band that i fell in love with listening to their self titled album at 9. I realized tho that they didn't change but rather the experiences they were facing at that time is what inspired them to evolve and write that way. As i grew older myself i realized that i evolved too and my sheer love for all the members of this group made me appreciate and come to embrace what they had to say to the world, what they needed to express. i don't blame you for not liking hypnotize but i love it all. every single track they've written. this group was the anvil and hammer that forged me into the metalhead i am today. i owe them everything

The time I saw them in L.A. earlier this year, they sounded very good.
They don't sound like they just play the Songs from the Records (like Metallica). For me they sound like a real live-band.
They're pretty good live from what I remember. Raw shit.
They were far off from being "technically sound" in their younger days because Daron and probably Shavo were always buzzed out of their minds, but check out their newest shows. They've gotten so much better in their musicianship.
