Absolutely! I've been telling everyone for the last 3 years how incredible she is, ever since I "discovered" her. And I'm clearly not the only one. I really have no idea why she's not more of a star than she is.
Let's use it right now to hypnotize the Republicans into letting go of enough Senate seats to give the Dems a wide majority, (or at the very least, create a mysterious urge in McConnell, Graham and Susan Collins to suddenly up and retire). May it also create an urgent need in Orange Man to save himself the painful, growing shame of impeachment and quickly resign, along with the rest of his cabinet, leaving Nancy Pelosi as our first female POTUS. @5:12 until the end... Wow..... The harmony that they engage... it appears that LaHavas' use of pedal tones is simply amazing.... The tension and harmony.... This is TOTALLY slept on...
I feel like Djesse Vol. 2 is by far Jacob's best work. The features and the arrangements are just so good. I've always thought his talent was insane, but just paring it down with the RnB sound and mixing his dynamic harmonies is perfect for this record. And this song is definitely my favorite but the whole album is just amazing.
not to take away from his abilities as a singer and a frontman - I think his main strength is writing. I really like his songs but I always prefer when he has a guest on vocals. Just about to transcribe this one, love the harmony!
My goodness, Jacob. Classically trained musician/composer in his 50’s here.....The music in this new album is stunning! There’s a lot going on here, and it’s all wonderful.
This song is the embodiment of that blurry and out of this world feeling that you get when you're looking at someone you love or when you're feeling happy and peaceful and you're looking at the sky/nature... it's a feeling you can't really describe with words. It's like it's just you and that person/nature and everything else is blocked out. It's literally like staring into someone's eyes or at the stars and moon and not leaving and letting your mind just fly. It feels so surreal. This song is perfect to describe that feeling.. especially towards the end of it. There are so many feelings that we can't describe with words and music is one the best alternatives for that.
OMG!! This perfectly descibes this song! When i first listened to it and also got emotional because throughout the song (especially before the end) Its like the music is almost saying, be at peace, and at the very end its like Lianne La Hava’s voice is saying to inhale, and exhale. Overall, an astounding piece of music. I play this song like everyday to reset myself ☺

Probably the most seductive song I've ever heard from Collier. The whole mood is Quincy Jones / Take 6 unreleased cut. The only thing that slightly takes away from this song for me are the audible breaths during the "ooh yeah" vamp. But I'll be fine and this is a mood. Good on you, Jacob.
This track is just a revelation,on every level. You can't wear it out, no matter how many times you listen to it, it just doesn't get old.
