I feel bad for him, I realize a lot of it is acting but you can tell behind the scenes some dark stuff has happened to him through glimpses of what he’s said when he wasn’t trying to be funny. He’s had self harm scars, he was16 with tattoos, comes on stream with tear marks sometimes. People with half his clout get drained from streaming only a few times per month, imagine how he feels daily with all the toxicity he gets. He’s a young kid I hope he is well emotionally now

@@mariwashereeee in one of his videos he was asking viewers not to come to his house/bother his family. a jacket that his cousin ( I think his cousin moved away) gave him had tears in it (from a fan), so speed had to throw It away. when you look at his wrist and forearm you can see marks that look like faint scars. hope this helped :)

I think when a creator is so young, they subconsciously turn into what they think their fans want them to be.
The only reason it's so hard to tell if he's acting or not is because hes literally never broken character. It would be so difficult to keep that act going for this long without breaking character once.

Oh god, I can see that too. And Etika had a milder community then Speed has now and was way older then Speed when he got his signature community.
Looking were things are headed now, at best Speed becomes a hollow shell of a human that puts his real emotions away in favor of getting attention, or he will crack and things are gonna play out in a really, really scary familiar way.

I've watched him for a week but I can already tell single player games are his bread and butter. Whether it's talking to Ben, playing open world games, and or scary game's it will avoid controversy and let him grow as a streamer and person. Scary games are the best in my opinon, horror games are some of the most emotional provoking games and his chat can't make fun of him as much as there's so little variation in scary ones.

Honestly, I’m nervous FOR him. I don’t know if it is a joke or acting anymore. In all his older streams and videos, he seems so happy. I think the majority of the time its pretty obvious he's playing a character, his fan base is so big now and football (soccer). oriented that the hate simply isn't there anymore like it used to be. The way he acts on stream is clearly comedic, although it's so hard to tell whether or not he's actually negatively effected by these hate comments. I hope he isn't, but his career is only getting bigger, hopefully that silences all the haters.

I'm glad someone finally said this. Man I really enjoy his content when it's normal and chat is tame, but 50% of the time it's hard to watch his streams or I just feel bad. Speed does seem like a wholesome guy deep down like when people donate nice comments and he thanks them it's always so nice. But there's always a good chance of his chat being toxic and pushing him to his limit, it just becomes a sensitive scenario, so much so sometimes I can't watch. Regardless of if he purposely gives in or not, there's no doubt his chat should never say those things. I hope stuff changes for the better for speed, genuinely an entertaining and funny person.

Speeds and other similar creators keep their audience engaged with their overhyped personalty that somehow is entertaining. Let me take KSI as an example. I personally love watching Speed and have subbed to him since he hit one million. But sometimes I worry for him when it comes to those times where I just want to tell him to End stream or leave this game not worth giving these trolls attention. Another I feel like you should mention is that speeds chat is basically not Moderated as most of the mods are young and have little to 0 experience with moderating. So it leads them also join the trolls and spam dumb things to tick off speed but most of the time speed doesn't notice them for some reason. The way they got mod in the first place is just by joining his lobby in games and begging him to mod them. Speed doesn't realize the importance of Moding he gives it to them and that leads to a very Toxic chat. The reason for this I think is cuz speed is the definition of "Just Go Live" he doesn't talk or do much at all on any other platform and someone on his friend runs the other highlight channels if your wondering.

There are some moments were I feel bad for him, as he just wants to stream and his community keeps attacking and harassing him. Sometimes he deserves better but it also sometimes feels like he brought it upon himself..

I believe before he is quite normal but the toxic chat pushes him to the limit and force him to rage out but after seeing his current streams he is honestly enjoying it and using the hate for his own benefit
I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually dealing with borderline personality disorder. The repeating cycle he fell into, the rapid mood shifts (ex: going from breaking down in self hatred one day then the next seeming like everything's cool.), multiple instances of him lying about his age, name, appearing like a distorted sense of self, just to fit in or seem cool, and just the overall confusion of "is this fake or real?" just screams borderline to me. Just my theory.

I think a lot of people subscribed to Speed because him playing VRChat. Him and Iceee and the other characters in the what the Speed community calls “Speed Piece” VRChat show entertains the viewers. They eat it up. Also with the addition of Speed’s rivalry with a talking dog. That’s gonna garner even more subs. And I’m here for it honestly. I love what speed is doing and I’m constantly looking forward to when he streams at night.
