The Island Boys are literally like a wet rag left to dry. They seem to genuinely believe in their song. It's just that it gain traction ad a joke. This reminds me of that Family Guy episode where Chris becomes Homecoming King as a joke...

The biggest mistake these guys made is thinking everyone who hates them actually keeps watching them and following them and giving a shit about what they do, rather than getting one good laugh out of them and never thinking about them again. That was the case with me till I saw this video pop up, remembered who they were and thought "those guys are still around?" and then watched it mostly just cause it's SunnyV2.
This exactly. Just the latest group of people that just found out about these guys giving them one view before forgetting all about them. And anyone still looking is just watching the trainwreck in slow mo.
I usually think about the Ireland Boys as one of the memes in Internet history that I vist once while. In fact this video was the first I heard of them in a while. If you want to become a Comedian on the internet at least have some skill.
Sunny, you have been gaining fame extremely quickly, and i can see why, you go in real depth on certain topics that not many people know about. Nice one bros
Exactly, I stumbled across this channel randomly but I subscribed because of the fact that he covers youtubers that are not that known by the average user, like the island boys, logan paul, that fat guy and many more. Wouldn't have ever heard of them if it wasn't for this channel.
The "they hate because they're jealous" argument has always been so laughable to me. If they're jealous of your skills/money/fame, why don't they hate people more skilled/rich/famous than you?
I don't think the argument is entirely flawed. Jealousy is a very real thing. However, that argument usually only seems true when you have like 4:1 ratio of fans:haters.
It also doesn't hold water in school. Rather than tell kids that, it would be better if they just faced the fact that there are some mean, sh*tty people out there who resent you, step on you to climb the social ladder, or even get their fun by hurting you. And the only effective ways to deal with them are to avoid them or stand up to them. Even if it means getting a beatdown. They'll usually leave you alone after one or two beatdowns. But they'll never leave you alone if you back down or bow down.
They dropped an album a few months ago that nobody even noticed that only got 10k views in the first month, as a result they have gotten so desperate for relevance and views that have devolved into making videos of them performing s*xual acts on one another…..it’s sad and disgusting AF
This is the best video of Kodiakredd getting spat On n punched in Hawaii a few days ago, while he's brother flysouljja run's Off ruclips.net/video/9OUnAy7tDDI/видео.html
Exactly. I don’t see the point of people avoiding other artists and genres, I always try to discover new music so I can discover new chord progressions, drums etc
@@Raz-lw9vi nah there is some value to the idea of avoiding other people's ideas. It can make you more authentic. Still.. it goes the other way too. Trust me once you listen to enough music at a high enough level, there's no such thing a new chord progression or rhythm.. it is very possible to ruin the magic for yourself by listening to too much
Yea I listen to different people with different genre what makes their music their music. Try to see what makes the music so good the melodies and the words. That’s how I understand music better.
I love how Mike and Logan were pretty much dissing them right to their face, but the dude telling them to sell their jewelry was the nicest and yet he was the one who the island boys decided to start shit with
Isn't how it normally goes though? People always want to try and walk on the those that are actually nice or doing something beneficial for them, even if it's giving solid advise. Trashy people look at that as a weakness.
@Work and Stuff You are definitely confused here. The man said to make sure you are prepared (financially) for life. Basically saying that you don't have many job opportunities when you get a tattoo on your face. That's a lot different than other places. Plenty of people have tattoos on regular body parts, and it doesn't affect their earning potential.
@Work and Stuff any tattoo? No i don't think so One of my cousins got a tattoo on his upper arm and he got a decent desk job. It won't effect your career as long as it can be easily covered. Unlike a face tattoo that can't be easily covered nor get rid of without leaving a ugly scar on your face.
@@AwakenedAvocado u will regret it later tbh (if its actually true) just think of yourself as an old man or middle aged self with the tattoo u are gonna get you think your kids wont be embarrassed? oh well
I love the part of their song that goes "humany mumany humy namoomi da yea yea". I've been going through hard times lately and whenever I feel like I just can't take it anymore I think to myself "mamoer haberdi yea yea yea" and it lifts me up to the highest of highs. Thank you, Island Boys.
One of the big signs it was doomed from the start (for me) is that the twin with the 17 tattoo on his forehead (I think it's Flyysoulja) is always talking about himself. In the Impaulsive Podcast, he only answer questions as one singular person while his brother says "we". "They're hating on ME, it's because they really love ME", "I see the haters", "just hating on ME or whatever", "I'm not really doin' nothin'", "I worked MY ass off", "I'm a star", "I try not to listen to nobody", "I used to listen", "I always try to go for a more melodic sound". And the Tik Tok at the end "I made million dollars myself, just me, doing it myself, alone". Dude legitimately forgot he's supposed to be a duo with his brother. If you only hear him, you would think he's, indeed, alone but he's not.
I noticed that towards the end of this video where he went "I created this, I did this on my own" Just imagine the amount of narcissism it must take to completely disregard your own twin brother while thinking something so utterly useless as The island boys is a sucess that took all this hard work.
One advice I'd give to young people anywhere between 12 and 22: It is okay to not be famous. You don't have to be an influencer, a model or a rapper. Just get a job you like and live your life. It'll be more fulfilling in the end.
You can't say that just getting a job and living your life will be more fulfilling in the end. That's a completely unfounded general statement that takes nothing about the individual into account. If your dream is to be a model or a rapper then pursue it because you only get one life to give it a go and if you fail and THEN go and get a job I would argue you'll be far more fulfilled than the person who never tried, living with the regret that they never exercised their true potential. The better advice would be to pursue your dream but don't be afraid to carve your own niche instead of being obsessed with being the top position. It's that which causes the problem. Being a model, rapper or influencer is achievable for most if they really want it but to be Kate Moss or Drake is incredibly rare and its the pursuit of this elite level that quickly turns a passion into a shit existence.
@@FEE8Tth8BEA8T You took the comment WAY out of context. Entering a career field you enjoy doing and living your life to the fullest is the best kind of fulfillment. It's not an unfounded statement, and accepting the fact that even though you may be talented as a model or rapper, you might not MAKE IT as one is a very real scenario you may have to accept. And thats okay. But you do call yourself MegaloTom, so you think your opinions are founded when they're not. They're just emotion based arguments that truly have no grounding in reality.
@@comradeeverclear4063 What are you talking about haha you think you can tell anything from my username? its a play on words of me and my girlfriends names lol Also I took nothing out of context... do you know what context means? I referenced the context of your statement. Honestly bro it's pretty embarrassing the way you assumptively guess the characters of complete strangers online just because you got offended that someone disagreed with you... yet im the emotional one?! haha
Agreed. When I see stuff like this, I'm so glad I was born a bit early to have been sucked in by this influencer/instawhatever nonsense. Morons wasting their lives, glued to their phones worshiping people with no discernible talent and nothing interesting to say. A lost generation wasting so much of their lives celebrating people for being vacuous.
The Island Boys are a prime example of how you can become famous just by looking stupid and acting stupid(er). Talent isn't a requirement for fame, but it sure helps you hold onto it longer I don't respect the sacrifices they made for fame. They've had their TikToks up for a minute, and in all that time they never once thought about a step 2 to this master plan. They sat on their phones pretending they were doing stuff like a skinny guy at the gym. Edit: No offense to any of my fellow Kings trying to get their summer bod on. I mean the guys who take a selfie by a random machine, or post a clip of 4 1/2 reps just to flex for the gram.
One thing I'm surprised Sunny didn't address was how (at least one of) these guys are domestic abusers. Shortly after they went viral I remember a video got released of one of them smacking his gf so hard he made her bleed. If their complete lack of talent and terrible decision making wasn't enough to kill their careers, this surely would've been the nail in the coffin for them if they tried to spin their 15 minutes into something more.
You'd think, but Tekashi 69 is an abuser too (and a criminal in other ways) and yet he's had a career, and Chris Brown is an abuser and he's had a long and very successful career
@@jo5678 "Chris brown can dance rehearsed choreography and released music I like so it's okay that he hits women but I don't like the island boys music so it's not okay they hit women" ???
Drugs don't do that....especially if you have a sound mind. Those guys just aren't very smart. It really is that simple. They have below average IQs and got lucky.....not a sustainable path.
I think this also once again proves that, in order to be successful, you need people around you who ground you. You need people to give advice to you, you need people to sometimes put you in your place in order for you to keep a grip on reality.
I disagree. The Island Boys, much like synthol kid, provide a vital service to society. 1. Almost everyone who sees them instantly feels better about themselves. 2. As a warning never to do what they did. In aggregate, they probably rendered happiness roughly equivalent to euphoria for one human lifetime. If that is not success, I don't know what is.
My grandmother was that person in my life. She would always tell me the straight up facts, & I cannot remember a single instance when she was wrong. Even though she would tell me things that I didn't always want to hear, she never led me astray. Thanks to her keeping my feet on the ground I am steady running into the success I have worked so damn hard to achieve. I am not a musician, but we all have our own unique talents. I just wish she was still here with me today so that we could celebrate over a bottle of wine. Miss you Grandma Nancy
these guys are so brave, they worked so hard to make their own sound and their own style. they don't listen to other rap music, in fact, to keep themselves from being influenced by other artists they've never listened to a song in their lives.
Wait so you're telling me the secret to making music, is to have no clue what music is. That way it can't possibly be that bad, cause it's the best shit I ever heard!!! Genius!!!! 😆😆😆
Not going to lie, when these guys blew up, I couldn't understand why. I was concerned that my age was showing by not liking this new type of music...now seeing that EVERYONE hates them, I feel better. Thank you for that :-P
I think there will always be a time, no matter what the era, where many artists and influencers will go viral with absolutely zero talent. Social media has made it much more prevalent than it was say 20 to 30 years ago, but Island Boys weren't the first, and they certainly won't be the last.
@KYLE RITTENHOUSE - COMMUNIST EXTERMINATOR it is just funny to me how 90s music sounds like heaven until you see the MV. Always happened to me like searching some Bon Jovis
People finally starting to embrace the concept of "stop making stupid people famous". Jokes aside, I respect anyones grind to get viral... but its how they handle the fame that ultimately defines them. If these fools embraced the haters and played along, didn't act like their sh** dont stink... they may still be 'relevant'.
I think their main problem is that they’re not likable. They could have used their fame to broadcast fun, likable, good-hearted, quirky personalities and then gotten into reality tv. You don’t need talent sustain fame, but you need some % of the population to like you, even if most people hated them or are uninterested. You need fans and they don’t have any.
Sunny is way ahead of everyone in the “RUclips documentary” or tales of RUclips. With only one person who I think can kind of that can actually contest him. Great job Sunny
Anyone who says they are a musician who doesn’t listen to other musicians is 100% LYING. The skill of making melodies and songs is one that is honed by listening to hundreds of artists and absorbing melodic flairs and styles on a deep subconscious level, and then making your own material through a combination of these subconscious influences. I got better at songwriting the more I listened to different kinds of music…
That's a general thing across all industries and media, if you never pay attention to what others are doing you are doomed to at best make the same mistakes that others did. At worst you could miss something huge that could change the game, and now you are left behind while everyone else surges ahead.
Nope. The trick is to limit yourself to the same 5 popular bands of a certain genre and not listen to anything else. Obviously I'm just joking. There is a certain well liked RUclipsr who is now in a band (they are awful) but whenever he talks about his favorite music It's all the same genre and the top bands of those genres (you can probably find bands shirts of those groups at Walmart). It's no wonder why he is a pretty shitty musician. It's good to enjoy one genre more than others but branch out, expand your tastes and mind.
There’s a rumor that Lauryn Hill disappeared to not hear music so she could come back fresh and I remember thinking,”yeah you’d have to disappear to accomplish not hearing ANY music of what you do. It’s the only way”
Just listen to people like Kanye, Manny Fresh Timbaland, or Pharrell talk about music. These guys are some of the most prolific beat makers in the 20th and 21st century and they have an encyclopedic knowledge of music and music history going all the way back to the 50s. Unless you're a once in a millenia talent like Beethoven who is a true musical savant, you have to be a student of musical history.
You see influencers who play into the hate and assume a "villian role"...and it works out really well for their career. The Island Boys aren't self aware enough to use that strategy to their advantage, instead they've let it be weaponized against them.
@@mfbloemI don’t know them but I saw a clip of the brothers doing inappropriate $e**al things with each other pop up on a snapchat reel and i immediately blocked it.
There's nothing wrong with that advice. However, it's important to be realistic about it and that a hobby (or something you like doing) is not the same as being successful enough to live off of it (or anything at all). In fact, it doesn't matter if you're a professional at what you do... Some people do everything right and still come up short. That's just life. Always have a plan B, something to fall back on and a safety net. Don't jump into something you're not ready for and listen to advice given. If you start making money doing what you do, don't quit your job etc. Just do shit the proper way and don't risk everything at once unless you're ready to lose it.
These guys are thr reason I get my 5 yr old to do his chores. If he won't do it I either put on the 'song' or worse I sing it myself hahaha fuck these guys
this channel is a real gem, I can really see how it blew up, high quality editing and storytelling combined with talking about famous people, brilliant
My coworker would always sing “I’m an island boy” randomly throughout the day when this was trending. He passed away a few months later and all I can think of his him when I see those two.
LOVED the moment during the Impaulsive podcast, when Logan just stood up...they got real quiet real fast. Tells you immediately what kind of BOYS they are. Cause I certainly would NOT call them men.
The worst part of this is that Janko and Paul acted like mature adults, and decided to show them a basic (undeserved) level of respect that nobody else is offering them. The interview was a low-key intervention put in the nicest, most respectful tone possible, which is about as gracious as any credible public figure can be to these clowns without damaging their own public image. And Janko's advice was the most important tip they needed to hear. They'll need to go into financial damage control in a year, if not months. Now their little toddler meltdown will be rubbed in their face throughout the entire brutal fall to bankruptcy and homelessness.
I can say, their career is more than dead. They've devolved to complete degeneracy for the sake of attention, but have now doomed themselves to never having any dignity they can salvage. They've desiccated their own career's grave for the sake of clout and now people will actively try to forget about them for the sake of sanity.
When he said "I can rap, I can sing" he has no idea how many true artists he disrespected. These two could actually made a name for themself if they just took the advice from the people that were giving it. They have some entertainment factor, they have a unique look, they just don't know how to rap or sing but it's not the first time we see people with less talent make it big. And rapping or singing can still be improved to a point where people see that they put in the work to get better and this way get some respect. All they can do now is find a shitty job somewhere, but I'm not sure how they are going to do it, with the way they look.
5:30 - have to disagree with that guy. Having your looks being part of your music has been a thing for a long time. From KISS to Steel Panther, from Bowie to Manson, practically all of punk. Plenty of artists have successfully made unconventional looks and public persona a part of their act. That being said you still need talent to make it work, just looking unconventional and making shitty music is not art with staying power.
Let this be a lesson to anyone who's thinking about getting famous, there is a big difference between a hater and someone who knows what they're talking about.
If you call styling your hair to resemble feminine hygiene products an immense physical sacrifice for your career, then I seem to have lost the plot with these lads.
If you keep up these videos you are going to be huge one day, this is quite a unique style of video. Usually when others try to make these videos they come out toxic and to personal but you are very good at using facts and not feelings which really helps not only gather all the information but also understand it aswell.
There are actually plenty of examples of whether people turn their 15 minutes of fame into long term financial stability. Peter Andre who had that 90s one hit wonder "Mysterious Girl' faded into obscurity pretty quick but when he turned up years later on one of those British celebrity reality shows we all found out he was rich. He had (on the advice of his father) put all his money into sound long term investiments, like property. So you can turn this type of flash in the pan celebrity into something that will sustain you long term, you just have to not be a pair of fuck wits and actually listen to financial advice
They are probably already screwed. Bad financial habits combined with them shooting up so quickly means that they could already be moving back in with mom and dad. Or god forbid on the streets. Unless they changed right before this video was uploaded, they're toast.
@@gregoryshortale Yeah. I mean if they really only had a net worth of 100k. They already wasted that initial 5 minutes of fame money. Not much left to invest now. Many people their age have that much saved up, but they most likely have a job or some credentials that will keep money coming in. Not to mention building up credit, having health insurance etc.
@@ikemoses8523 How long is that going to last though? I am not on TikTok, but from what I know it’s similar to RUclips in that views go down. People found them interesting at first. As parents, it’s so important to support your kids but equally as important to be honest and tell them the truth if there shit sucks. Maybe that didn’t happen here.
Working hard creating something people want will never go out of style. Once you hit it big, you have to diversify or at least move the product forward. People will get tired of paying for the same thing over and over or move on to someone else who is doing it better.
i read the title of this video and my instant response was "because they're idiots" - then i watched your video and just had my initial confirmed. Love your videos - thank you.
When you're basing your career on a "meme", well it's not exactly a strong foundation to begin with isn't it?, because people just get bored if you didn't have any skill to backup that initial push
Being a twin myself this is especially painful to watch, no one would understand their insecurities besides one and here it is, they are just as afraid of losing each other as they are of the world and the problem most likely is they not being honest with each other about issues they are very much aware of. They know what is happening, no one wants to be the first to say it.
I like how you actually talked about critical thinking in this vid. Most people know that those arguments are stupid but they can’t actually articulate why they’re stupid, they just make fun of them and that’s it- i like when people actually break down the fundamental lack of critical thinking skills that a lot of people have when they make arguments like “they’re just jealous“ or “they secretly love me“
They seem to have a really low iq coupled by the fact they are twins so ideas bounce off each other and probably got exposed to ‘candy rappers’ early on thinking that it was cool not realising that it’s mostly a meme, so as they grow up they associate what most people would consider a ridiculous meme with being a ‘gangsta rapper’ that’s just my guess anyway, Because it genuinely seems like they believe they are rock stars, most others like this you can kinda tell they are going over the top on purpose and creating that meme like appearance, but these guys are doing some straight up embarrassing shit thinking it’s the coolest thing ever so they must really just not get it at all
I admit, being 36, I’m not going to “get” a lot of modern music. That’s natural. But many kids have talent and I’ve been a hip-hop fan since the early 90’s, and am a fan of a portion of modern rap. This is just an embarrassment to music.
Yeah dude there's so much artists these days I wanna see prosper making genuinely good music just don't get that seen by larger audiences and the music that does usually suxks
@Johnny Z'Salt good point but I think it's also resultant of how you consume your music...a close friend I used to have recommended a song to me and I didn't like it only to have it recommended to me on Spotify and liking it then later....keep in mind I don't put the two together until later on... Music can feel like that especially with what's happened with social media but there's just something pure to me about Spotify recommending me songs weekly that I might like ... Feels indipendent of influence and is unshaped by any social media I enjoy that way
I can't imagine what it would feel like to have the entire world praying on your downfall. They should have taken the hate and proved everyone wrong but they aren't doing anything to help themselves or further their "success" and sadly once its all over they'll still be made fun of until the day they die probably. I'm sure this is depressing for them and is probably causing qlot of negative mental health problems. I don't wanna say they did it to themselves but they should have been smarter and realized why everyone gave them those views it wasn't because they are talented its lack thereof. Edit: im not saying they are the best rappers or that they aren't problematic cause nobody is perfect BUT nobody deserves to have the entire internet harass and bully them ornwait for them to fuck up just to laugh. No matter what they're human like us all and thats just not good for anyone's mental health.
The island boys knew that everyone was laughing at them rather than laughing with them….they just didn’t mind as long as the money and views came rolling in.
They could have spent a few years actually practicing rap or something before they blew up. If they had even the slightest bit of talent im sure they'd do just fine

None of us should know these people exist. We deserve compensation for these atrocities.

One of the simplest rules of life: *If you ever decide to get a face tattoo first make sure that you're set for life*
@Work and Stuff You are definitely confused here. The man said to make sure you are prepared (financially) for life. Basically saying that you don't have many job opportunities when you get a tattoo on your face.
That's a lot different than other places. Plenty of people have tattoos on regular body parts, and it doesn't affect their earning potential.

At worst you could miss something huge that could change the game, and now you are left behind while everyone else surges ahead.
kempolar EXACTLY!!! Couldn’t have said it better than that.
Even then there are only a few who actually last the test of time, most that fit well into that role can't consistently keep it up and crash hard.

There's nothing wrong with that advice. In fact, it doesn't matter if you're a professional at what you do... Some people do everything right and still come up short. That's just life.

Same about InternetAjay

Just had to add another bias to my list: sunny bots
Yes I’m now bias against sunny bots
yea but at the very least his profile pic shows james cook and not a spongebob baby patrick with a sun on his face so his pfp is actually also respectable james cook sailed around the world sunny sails around the internet perfect duo
I love the island boys, because i don't feel bad if i joke on them, i can make fun of them and for some reason it doesn't make me feel bad.
man had us in the first half ngl
lol
I love that you're ok with bullying the disabled
@@gomezpants If the island boys are disabled enough to do what they do they don't care.
It’s like those two wrestler twins who acted dumb for us
so i actually went to elementary school with them and i can confirm they didnt grow up anywhere rough at all it was a rich gated neighborhood
idk why but this felt so personal between sunny and the boys
As parents, it’s so important to support your kids but equally as important to be honest and tell them the truth if there shit sucks. Maybe that didn’t happen here.
Working hard creating something people want will never go out of style. Once you hit it big, you have to diversify or at least move the product forward. People will get tired of paying for the same thing over and over or move on to someone else who is doing it better.
Great video Lachlan! Honestly I'd hazard a guess that this channel makes considerably more per month than the island boys ever will haha
isn't Lachlan a fortnite youtuber lol. I think you spammed your comment in the wrong comments section 😂😂

i read the title of this video and my instant response was "because they're idiots" - then i watched your video and just had my initial confirmed. Love your videos - thank you.
When you're basing your career on a "meme", well it's not exactly a strong foundation to begin with isn't it?, because people just get bored if you didn't have any skill to backup that initial push
always have your videos playing/looping in the background while doing homework, this one caught me right on time
Sunny, I found your channel about 4 or 5 months ago and I'm so happy I did. Thank you for making the content you do
@ok Youre a bot lol
It is hard to believe that such talented a & handsome young men are not in the Top Ten of all time musical geniuses !
The key to happiness is to accept you don't have to impress anybody.
Aside from that, do your best with your own projects, prepare yourself the best possible if you want to present something to the world.
Being a twin myself this is especially painful to watch, no one would understand their insecurities besides one and here it is, they are just as afraid of losing each other as they are of the world and the problem most likely is they not being honest with each other about issues they are very much aware of. They know what is happening, no one wants to be the first to say it.
LMFAO its not that deep, It's pretty simple actually they're just arrogant and extremely stupid.
Shut up
😂😂😂😂😂
i hear they are really afraid to lose each other in bed
Bro I am a twin too and I have no idea what you are taking about?
3:46 I just can't stop laughing!!!! They look like imprisoned zombies, swaying in the wind
Brother 1:-"I'm a star"
Brother 2: -"We are very talnted"
The deluded and arrogant optimism 😂
I like how you actually talked about critical thinking in this vid. Most people know that those arguments are stupid but they can’t actually articulate why they’re stupid, they just make fun of them and that’s it- i like when people actually break down the fundamental lack of critical thinking skills that a lot of people have when they make arguments like “they’re just jealous“ or “they secretly love me“
been waiting for this one

I am so interested on the psychology behind them. How it is possible for someone being so delusional?
Low IQ
Usually a big part of it is parenting and the way they were raised.
They seem to be completely unaware of their surroundings. Feel like they might be on the spectrum
They seem to have a really low iq coupled by the fact they are twins so ideas bounce off each other and probably got exposed to ‘candy rappers’ early on thinking that it was cool not realising that it’s mostly a meme, so as they grow up they associate what most people would consider a ridiculous meme with being a ‘gangsta rapper’ that’s just my guess anyway, Because it genuinely seems like they believe they are rock stars, most others like this you can kinda tell they are going over the top on purpose and creating that meme like appearance, but these guys are doing some straight up embarrassing shit thinking it’s the coolest thing ever so they must really just not get it at all
@@craigfisherman2880 I really think you nailed it.
But I digress artists rn are in a better position than they were 20 years ago
@Johnny Z'Salt good point but I think it's also resultant of how you consume your music...a close friend I used to have recommended a song to me and I didn't like it only to have it recommended to me on Spotify and liking it then later....keep in mind I don't put the two together until later on...
Music can feel like that especially with what's happened with social media but there's just something pure to me about Spotify recommending me songs weekly that I might like ...
Feels indipendent of influence and is unshaped by any social media I enjoy that way
And you just lost all credibility. Rap is dead bro, has been for a looooooooooooooooooong time.
Hopsin being an exception.
@@VivalaryMan Hopsin isn't the only talented rapper lol.
It's good to know that they are failing.
I'm rooting for their failure.

good. this goes to show that you're a normal human being who isn't redarded.
Why do you care so much about them?

Yea. Me2 cuz

Island Boys: "I can sing and I can rap"
Nikocado Avocado: "it's just water weight"
It was a nice surprise hearing Joey B Toonz’s voice in the beginning.
They can't prove anything without talent, which they had none of. They were hoping the looks would take them to the top and then people forgot about them because they provided nothing to begin with
Until the day they die? The world will have forgotten about them within 5 years…and that’s being generous.

There is a huge difference between hate and speaking the truth which often hurts. He naturally says people hate - which is the natural reaction when the truth hurts - because it’s not what they want to hear. They are so disillusioned
