If you are treated like a child, and you can do child-like things due to your bodily limitations, that's what how you would tend to act like. And people will tend to act a certain way with him because his child-like appearance , size and voice, activates our 'nurture' brain areas, while at the same time simply by having a rare condition that almost no one sees, people will be naturally interested in him.
You gotta give it to him, he sure knows how to use his cuteness to his advantage.
The little dude seems to have already lived a far more interesting life at age 20 than most at age 40.

He reminds me of a circus freak in the early 1900s. Many of those people chose to be in circus sideshows because it brought them fame and fortune. They weren’t always getting exploited. Usually they got a fair cut of the profit. Hasbulla has at least normal adult intelligence. If people are going to laugh at him without paying, he’s going to walk away.

I have a son his size. It’s almost impossible for me to separate age and size so I keep seeing a toddler with an amazing vocabulary. What a crazy thing to be on the other end of that, and the psyche that must develop being treated like a toddler by all those who just meet you. He's also entering that phase of his life where a typical western male citizen would be trying to experience part of adulthood through trial and errors. In his case however he's still learning about himself, the world and the social media game that he's making a business off. Difference is he stays rooted to being who he is and doesn't come off as fake. Just the folks who choose to perceive him for what they want to see and not for who he really is.

He's a simple guy who was born and brought up in a completely different world to what we in the West know. I don't think he's a bad person or cruel, his attitude on 'disciplining' his cat stems from his culture and ignorance. He just doesnt know any better. Similarly, the absence of an apology wasn't him refusing to apologise. He was just trying to explain the way he sees it. He wasn't being defensive or trying to justify it. He's literally just a simple guy with a simple lifestyle in some village somewhere in Russia.
I do think some of the responses were a bit over the top. And you're probably right, the culture of outrage would probably not be inclined to forgive even if he did apologise and rectify his attitude and behaviour.
