As a very small entrepreneur I aspire to be as confident and ballsy as Dana, people who are not self employed can't comprehend how hard it is to make the decisions he made and the skills it take to make everything work the way he did. He's an absolute genius and a visionary.
@Shaan Ahmed Hashmi I'm talking strictly about him as an entrepreneur, not as a human being or as a son. And despite that, it's hard to blame him or the mother without knowing the full story, so I don't judge.

Watched Ultimate Fighter for the first 10 years, it was a really great way to get you to know and most importantly care about many of the fighters, it suddenly mattered who won and not just that the fight was good. Good fights tell a story as well as being technical and athletic. 18:04 I remember that fight so much, was amazing and both wanted the contract so much, they opened their hearts as well as shed their blood in that match, was amazing and beautiful story :)

What an amazing documentary! You managed to produce a fair and objective video. Letting the people involved speak for themselves makes it feel way more natural and organic compared to a voiceover. Of course, the clips seem exposing to a critical mind, but the number of various sources and the repetitive usage by the man himself shows, that it was no cherry-picked incident. Huge props to you, the amount of research must have been insane! Also goes to show how much luck it takes and what the success does to a person and his ego. Let’s go slapping :D

It looks Dana's main motivation for making insane money has been his mother telling him that he will never amount to anything and that he would wound up just like his father. This has also led him to not share the riches that he created with his mother and hence his mother's bitterness towards his son. But there is no denying that Dana may not be molded as the perfect person; this share of responsibility goes to both father and mother. But father and mother inability to reconcile the differences has led to a broken family and broken home. And this has led to Dana being Savage at times. Dana white's mother can sugar-coat things and say this and that however she and her husband bear responsibility for his not so good character traits. What she must do is love her son no matter the mistakes of him. But, it looks like there is tear in the relationship and that's tragic.
Taking into consideration how much his mother wants him to fail, programing him since he was young by telling him he would turn out a bad person, and then even attacking his own son's business and interest... that's got to hurt. But she is a sore loser. I hope Dana has realized that she is just trying to have him under her spell. Mothers should know how much they influence their kids. The force runs deep in Dana. Sorry to see a mother not being proud of what his son has accomplished. I know my mother would not go or see any event, but if she saw me happy and achieving my goals, she would be happy. 22:07 and 28:13, those comments...but only Dana know how to respond to that 28:28, run them all over... Love can kill you sometimes.
@@redboy8985 it's been so long + my grandmother filled that mother role and still does to this day so it's not a big deal. What's a big deal is how common this shit is. It's sad that all a woman has to do to qualify as a mother is spread her legs.

Meeting Dana in real life and now down to earth and real he still is after achieving so much is why I will always respect this man. It is extremely rare to find someone with his power and net worth who is still so polite and kind to regular people around him. Dana White is a legend
Good thing you don't know him too much, cause he'd slap you in the face at a new year's eve party
And his wife lmao
Many people especially fighters who came across Dana might not agree with you. Dana seems kinda reckless and doesn't shy away from publicy ridicule those who stepped on his toe or just don't wont to put up with his contract decisions. The list is actually very long...
Shame he doesnt use any of that kindness to pay his fighters better
The transition to the ad was smooth haha..what an awesome piece man very detailed with good context in it. Love it.
UFC is the only sport that interests me and without Dana’s savagery it doesn’t exist.
Thank you for the insane level of research and work you put into this.
UFC is not a sport, its a promotion. MMA is the sport.
The UFC was better without Dana in the early days when it first began. Now you have fighters being paid so little they are throwing and rigging fights.
This is epic well done 👏
Can anyone tell me the music that was used in the beginning of the video, i have been continuously playing this scene in the gym but I don't know what song is this is, plz tell me
I am the private investor for the ufc I would’ve been the biggest thing if dana did not sell my shares. I was a 87% shareholder. I’m surprised no one’s me yet I’m 55..
This dude Patrick is so talented with these vids. He's gonna go far.
spiderman home< Dana white and the Fertittas are laughing all the way to the bank, 4 billion dollars for the UFC? how in the world did the price get so high? The ufc is not even worth 500 million today! lol!
?????
As a very small entrepreneur I aspire to be as confident and ballsy as Dana, people who are not self employed can't comprehend how hard it is to make the decisions he made and the skills it take to make everything work the way he did.
He's an absolute genius and a visionary.
@Shaan Ahmed Hashmi I'm talking strictly about him as an entrepreneur, not as a human being or as a son. And despite that, it's hard to blame him or the mother without knowing the full story, so I don't judge.
what's your business please?
@@primo_odl4872 I have a roofing company with 20 employees and created a second one 2 years ago where we sell handmade motorcycle pieces, the second one is just 3 people.
@Shaan Ahmed Hashmi I also said "I'm talking strictly about him as an entrepreneur" so don't be pedantic please
@@rospoho Dana is that financially successful because hes a sociopath with no empathy. You can't be in his position without being a sociopath
I haven't followed UFC for a couple decades and I still remember the Griffin/Bonnar fight. It was the launchpoint for the sport.
Dana's self belief is astounding... But... To see a mother (Dana's mom) so jealous of her own son was very sad. Thank God my own parents were always proud of me and my accomplishments in life. Dana's mom seems to be a self esteem vampire, but luckily it appears that Dana is pretty much immune to her attempts at sabotaging his confidence. What a great documentary about an absolutely amazing businessman.
Can anyone tell me the music that was used in the beginning of the video, i have been continuously playing this scene in the gym but I don't know what song is this is, plz tell me
Yeah..maybe she was right tho, we don't know them eventhough you seem to think you do
GOddamn toxic mothers
I mean her saying that Dana isn’t a good person isn’t so farfetched just look at his actions and reputation
@@FJ24. Meaning?
this is really the golden age of MMA and we should all appreciate it. there will be a time when MMA will go in very weird directions and we all argue over what Dana White would have done. Let's all appreciate it the times we have right now.
he is the sole reason this sport is not eaten up by money corruption! he really loves the sport and puts the fan experience at number 1 before anything, because he knows, that this is the right way to run a business for a long time.. the day he leaves will be a sad day
this is one the best documentary till date, It must be extremely hard for dana to accomplish all these still, he's made of steel I suppose, and you're such an amazing story teller, didn't felt when half an hour passed, was hooked from beginning till the end, perfect editing & 10 on 10 on everything.
You keep outdoing yourself Pat. Those documentaries are so well put together, it makes for such an engaging view. Also loved your channel plug juxtaposed with Dana’s interview response, had me rolling lmao excellent work man
Watched Ultimate Fighter for the first 10 years, it was a really great way to get you to know and most importantly care about many of the fighters, it suddenly mattered who won and not just that the fight was good. Good fights tell a story as well as being technical and athletic. 18:04 I remember that fight so much, was amazing and both wanted the contract so much, they opened their hearts as well as shed their blood in that match, was amazing and beautiful story :)
Patrick, your content genuinely is the best out there at the moment.
We should all thank you for your contributions in terms of growing, educating, and always entertaining the MMA community.
Can anyone tell me the music that was used in the beginning of the video, i have been continuously playing this scene in the gym but I don't know what song is this is, plz tell me
Just found these vids. 100 per cent agree this guys editing alone. Give him a job UFC
Dude. A lot of this story has been told, through media both big and small...but you got something special in your delivery. It's funny, serious, a real rollercoaster of pace that makes it an exhilarating ride. Thank you and have a Happy New Year!!
I just watched 3 full videos back to back. Amazing job once again Patrick, but more than entertainment and storytelling, this was a lesson in bussines!
patrick gavia one of the best sports docs people of all time. the way you capture the feel and how you put all of it in one video is truly incredible. i’ve been watching since your first video where you quit your job to do this. now i’m always gonna be a fan thank you. ❤
Thanks for being one of the OGs 💪
This guy's documentary's are unbelievable
What an amazing documentary! You managed to produce a fair and objective video. Letting the people involved speak for themselves makes it feel way more natural and organic compared to a voiceover. Of course, the clips seem exposing to a critical mind, but the number of various sources and the repetitive usage by the man himself shows, that it was no cherry-picked incident. Huge props to you, the amount of research must have been insane!
Also goes to show how much luck it takes and what the success does to a person and his ego. Let’s go slapping :D
That's weird because no thought.

This is one of the best videos I’ve ever watched on RUclips in history. Keep up the good work. I added you to my favorites section.
I truly respect the work you put into those videos, you're one of the best storytellers out there and i hope you never stop. Praying for you, thank you!
RIP Stephan Bonnar. That fight with Forrest will always remain legendary
Ive never been stoked when a content creator on RUclips drops a video, Until Patrick Gavia came on the scene. Thanks bro keep em comin!
Will do my man
I really appreciate how this was put together. It’s a lot of work and looks and flows seamlessly . Awesome
Keep it up brother, easily my favorite mma RUclipsr without a doubt. We can see the hunger in you every new video. They keep getting better and better. I’d bet anything you reach all your dreams and goals. Amazing content
Thanks Andrew 🙏
Always good to see a video from you. Been a fan since you dropped the first documentary. Your style is flawless
Congrats on this doc man... I watched it, watched the one linked in the card at the very end (about fighter pay), and came back here to comment. You have a talent that applies to content far beyond this fight genre and I have subscribed with hopes to see you EXPAND into the bigger and better that I see in your future.
Think bigger my man. You’re ready.
What’s the doc called?
that was great! Ive watched most pf this wholedrama real time and it was good to hav a quick edit of it all in a single video
The editing in your documentary is insanely good. Watched from first second to last.
Chatri Sityodtong is literally following the exact formula with One FC. Patrick, as usual, great video! Thank you! You, Mike Ciavarro, and a few others are as good as it gets at these.
Love how cinematic your mma docs are 🔥
This is the fourth video I've seen, of yours, in two days. You produce stuff better than anything on tv. Keep it up!
Patrick, your videos give me this level of shock and awe I have never felt watching MMA documentaries. The music, the clips, the pace, the history, the overall quality. This is top tier content. I am always excited to see your videos!
Bro! i was seeing everyone else making mma documentary type videos and was getting worried about your channel. Now i’m mid way through this video and realized your content is on another level. You keeping getting better 🔥🔥🔥
Dude, this video was fkn amazing. I loved it, educational and inspiring. I remember downloading the videos on Kazaa and having my mind blown, it was fkn insane the first 20 UFCs... and then the reality show fight between Stephan Boner and Forrest Griffin. That was an epic slug fest!! Divine intervention to reward that Hail Mary of these champion CEOs.
And that AG commercial in the middle was hillarious!
Careful, Dana is watchin
Started binge watching your episodes a day or so ago, and subscribed today...the editing/quality that you put into these mini docs is impressive and I don't know why your not in the 7 figures of subs already...but I gotta feeling you will be
Thank you for all these stories Patrick, so we'll put together, you're an awesome story teller, you let the subjects tell the story themselves... Epic! Love it!!!
Amazing work as usual. Really appreciate you putting in all the time to do what you do, so many of us appreciate it.
People get the word on this guy for me. He makes outstanding documentary content. Name drop Twitter, Instagram, TikTok. This guy is awesome! I want to see more🙌 Thank you again Patrick.
I have to say, this video... is AWSOME !!! Your videos are sick! I love them. The story telling, the cuts, all the different videos, telling one story is just crazy i love it! Respect to you brother! i really dont enjoy watching such videos but yours are just on an other level! Keep that level up !!
Incredible editing my friend. When it comes to MMA documentaries, you are the one. Good luck, much respect!

@Alice mark You're right, it's obvious a lot of people remain poor due to ignorance

Obviously trading in bitcoin is very volatile and risky to trade that's the reason most traders trade with a company
Now is the best time to purchase and invest in Bitcoin stop procrastinating
I still to this day, remember watching Forrest vs Stephen Bonner live!!!! Those guys really made an impact!! Never saw people punch each other in the face like that, REPEATEDLY!!!!
Dana is probably the only CEO of a sports-sanctioning body who is cringy but whose product is amazingly good. Also love his workout routine: "I work out so I can eat what I want (referring to junk food)."
He is certainly the most entertaining CEO of any sport, a real life McMahon
You have to be what the market asks for, that is how it sadly works
How is he cringy?
I don't think he's cringey
Not so much cringy as much as speaking his truth how he sees it
I get so excited when I see you drop content! You are better than any of the "big names" in this content. Amazing editing and story telling. Incredibly impressive. You are becoming the GOAT in combat documentaries.

Patrick,
The ad insert was brilliant and hilarious.
It actually really synced up and kudos to for finding the exact footage of uncle Dana.
This edit even eclipse the Khabib version in Islam's video.
Keep up the good work brother.
Love from India.
That was the smoothest and absolutely BEST lead into a sponsor/ commercial I have EVER seen in my almost 6 decades on the this earth!!!
Well done my man and YOU can be anything you want in business! I've seen your potential with just that ad!
This video is so extremely well-made and entertaining. I just found your channel and looks like UFC/MMA content is your niche, if you expanded that to cover other businesses and entrepreneurs you would blow tf up. Awesome video, great job.
Great content as ever.
The irony of Stefan Bonnar's impact on the success of the UFC given what has just happened, is heavy.
R.I.P.
Your documentaries are so many levels above most stuff out on any platform, Incredible stuff mate !
It’s always a good day when Patrick uploads.
A great start to the new year 🥳 Must be a good year if it starts with a Master Gavia video
and you damn right know it, that this year you'll be way over 1M subs King
2023 gonna be explosive!
I predict you'll hit 1mil subs before the end of 2023. Your stuff is too good to not be seen by an even bigger audience. Make it happen people!
UFC ticket prices are too high. I looked at getting some for my son and his friends when they came to Abu Dhabi, but the prices are insane.
Damn, you really should have waited a couple days to finish this

Nice background music 🎧
I am 1/2 way through and had to pause to write this comment. The production values and amount of pure entertainment crammed into these videos is just insane. You have set the bar - Official UFC content pales in comparison. Shit, dude, I sat through your AG ad because it was so creative & entertaining - I ALWAYS skip ads - I see nothing but success in your future, mate - you are CRUSHING it. If The UFC knows what's good for them, they should hire you to produce content because you blow them out of the water. BRAVO!
Even this guys segways to ads are great, love it!

the editing skills is insane

😳🧐 Motha f==ka! That clean transition got me good! I bet sponsors love you!
8 minutes in. Amazing editing. Well put together. Glued to my screen. Well done my friend 👏🏻
Love can kill you sometimes.

good for you. Family can be so fucking annoying.
That they are family does not matter, what matters is that they are a bunch of depressed and controlling pessimists who want you to be unsuccesful like them.
I got a few of those types in the family, they mean nothing more to me than a stranger.
You either help each other get better or you dont deserve to be in my definition of family.
Dont get me wrong i respect people in hard times just as much as happy people. Its the ones that lock you up in their hell because they cant stand your succes that i have to leave behind.
