Ive been using the quip for 5 years and after purchasing the iO, it was a game changer. It felt like the denist i was at 2 days prior. Dont care about the travel case cause im gonna use the quip for traveling.
Hi, I saw your video as I bought 9. I must say that I feel good and I noticed the difference compared to the old Oral Bs. I have a question: how long does your battery last? I noticed that with every wash for 2 minutes, the battery drops by about 5/7%. It seems to me so much considered that I had read about an autonomy of about 20 days. Thank you so much in advance for your reply
Thank you Zach for helping me with my decision! I just signed up for VIP access for IO Series 10 And I can’t wait but lately I have been very patient on getting the latest premium products.
Thanks a lot for the video. I personaly dont mind the color inside the travel case since ill keep it close. Though pakagings are also not important at all to me since I dont consider over packaging is ecological depending on the materials. I saw though that you can put two brushes in the travel case for the oral b io serie 7 wish surprised me a lot . Thank you very much for the video!
I had a philips sonicare diamond series and it broke. I then got a cheaper sonicare and it broke. A cheap oral b toothbrush I got years and years ago is still working. I plan on getting the io9 for this reason. I think it will last longer
Awesome honest review for the Oral-B Series 9👍. All the videos I had watch either sponsored or paid employees can’t even compare to what you had presented. The fact you’re not affiliated with Oral-B will help many folks to decide if this toothbrush is the right choice. Yeah, you did a great. I subscribed 😎
Your paying more for the soniccare but the oral b is better. The mechanism for the brush is way more durable than the soniccare. I've had had both brushes the soniccare broke on me after awhile. I had one other oral b that has lasted me over 10 years so I'll never buy a soniccare again.
10 is about to release so they are clearing the rack. I think you have decide based on features and tech. Personally I've only tried the 9 and after a lot of reading I wanted the latest version with all the options. Get what feels comfortable to your budget. You can always upgrade later
I love the oral-b I’m a dental hygienist myself and I’ve had the genius for 8 years, I was looking into upgrading and getting the io9 but was comparing the difference with the travel cases- does the travel case need to be plugged in at all times in order for the toothbrush inside to receive a charge? No free standing charging is what I’m getting at?
This toothbrush is a device justifying a ridiculous price tag, while not improving the actual toothbrush. I switched from Sonicare to Oral B and went through 2 devices. When i looked at my teeth, i just remembered them bring whiter with Sonicare. I switched back and though i did like the Oral B, the Sonicare is superior. There were two determining factors. The first was, my teeth looking white. When i had the Oral B, the complements about my teeth being white, stopped. They have returned. The other thing that really sealed the deal... with the Oral B, tartar would definitely come back to my teeth within hours of brushing. With Sonicare, not so. Final answer, if you don't know how to use a toothbrush and need help from an app, do you. If you want clean teeth, Sonicare.
I have the same toothbrush but I only see ”tongue clean” ”daily clean” and ”whiten” option why i do not have the option for sensitive or sensitive + mode?
Even the package say 7 options lol. And it exactly same in package written Oral B iO 9 s , I only have those 3 options but you got 7, I already contacted the shop where I bought it from 10month ago
Are you going through your options button, it should show on the display, you can go through them all like I did in the video. If not then something is wrong...
@@Zachus all good one 💪🏼 i just went to the store, i had download the app again. I changed phone recently and did not have it, the another options will not show if not connected to the app. Downloded app and now can see them all again
Hey, im looking for a toothbrush that vibrates your arm the least amount as possible and is the lightest to brush with, this is because my arm sometimes hurts so much i can barely brush with a normal toothbrush or an electric one due to the vibrations. can you help me with wich of these two would be better for that?
@@Zachus ye sometimes i cant, im trying to find the best way to keep my teeth clean when im in that type of pain and thought these sonic toothbrushes might be an option. if you have any other tips for something that is even less taxing id love to hear your thoughts ^^
I recommend this one amzn.to/3oTP3li Also, remember my coconut hack in the video. All of that will help you. Make sure it's soft virgin high quality like this amzn.to/3zRvFvR
I used the iO series 8 for almost 2 years and decided to switch back to Sonicare. The round head is a little too big and it feels a little hard on the gum.
These are not the iO Series. You're not going to get two $300 toothbrushes for $30/each LOL. BUT if you are looking for a more budget friendly one then you could try the Costco option and see if it works for you. The Costco is Genius and an older model. Costco gets things that are phasing out. It's the lowest of the low at this point to be honest. I'm about to put up a new video on one that is more budget friendly. Be sure and subscribe so you get notified. Hope this helps... If it's too good to be true, normally is. iO9 and the new iO10 coming out are the top of the line for Oral-B Consumers
@@Zachus sorry they are $60 off for a grand total of $169 for two oral b i/o. Did a lil research and found this is what’s included. Is this a good deal ??? Accessories Included: (1) Oral-B iO Series 6 Black Lava Electric Toothbrush (1) Oral-B iO Series 6 Alabaster White Electric Toothbrush (4) Oral-B iO Ultimate Clean Replacement Brush Heads (2) Travel cases (2) Chargers
$85/each is a great price if you are ok with 4 series back from 9 to 6. Series iO 10 is about to come out but I know people that use these lower models and love them. You got to do what's best for you. Love Costco and if you have any issues they stand behind their products. Let me know what you decide. Enjoy!
I just bought the IO 6 , and have a question. Is the battery charge % supposed to stay lit up the whole time it's charging? Mine doesn't, but just lights up briefly right after I place it on the charger. The pressure ring blinks intermittently while it's charging, then turns off when fully charged.
@@Zachus Thanks! (Breathing a sigh of relief.) Wonder how come my instruction manual says the charge percentage display comes on when placing on plugged in charger, and goes off when fully charged? Weird
On all of these it's about the motion and vibrations. They help break up stuff we can see and pull stuff out from our gums. So on the Tongue mode it's just a different setting because it's doing different stuff to your tongue vs your teeth/gums. Hope this helps
@@Zachus Thanks. I was wondering if the tongue mode was worthwhile or if the sensitive or gum care mode was gentle enough for the tongue? I don't want any of the other io 9 features so I could go with a cheaper model if the tongue mode isn't worth it.
By the way - in terms of the app, i've been told the sonicare has 6 zones and the iO9 has four zones. but the iO9 is meant to be almost identical to the iO10 which has 6 cleaning zones. can you confirm - iO9 - does it have 4 or 6 cleaning zones?
@@Zachus on the oralb brushing apps they know what area you're brushing because they use your camera to watch you brush. I have an older model oralb brush that connects to the app and it's terrible at knowing what area you're actually brushing
