Thank you for your comment. Gnuplot gives animations such as the video just by entering the code. I describe in my blog about the code of this animation. So please read description and click the link. However, note that the equations on the left side of video were shown by not gnuplot but Keynote (a presentation software application for macOS).
@@Hiro.S Of course I understand, but when I copy and paste the code that you provide on your blog, it doesn't graph anything, the same thing happens with other codes that you have on your blog. At the end of the code in the gnuplot interface I get "721 frames in animation sequence gnuplot> print "Finish plot!" # Notice Finish plot "and no graph ...
@@k.l.9743 Sorry… I misunderstood. When you execute the code in my blog, the program makes the folder (line 39), and saves 721 image files (e.g. img_0000.png) in the folder (line 37, 53). In order to get the animation, you need to convert images to a gif or movie file. I always use ffmpeg and convert to mp4 file.
@@k.l.9743 If you output not PNG files but GIF file, you have to change terminal 'gif'. Please refer to here: hirossoliloquy.blogspot.com/2018/10/van-der-pol-equation-various-initial.html
Hi, those simulations / animations, does gnuplot give them just by entering the code? or do you have to do another procedure to obtain them?
Thank you for your comment.
