Zdarsky is one of my favorite writers in marvel right now. And I've been in love with Marco Checchetto's art since his star wars stuff. Perfect combination for a comic.
I don't think chechetto did the pencils, did he? The last two or three pencilers have been different.
Daredevil is my favorite character followed by Spider-Man. I'm glad the title has return to form. Much love to Red Batman.

Zdarsky run has been pretty good imo, if you like this run you should read his spectacular spider-man run. It's pretty good

Haven't read any daredevil besides Millers stuff until this current run and I'm glad I started pulling it. Good summary of the run so far. I dig the reviews and ncbd stuff you've been doing lately. Don't get me wrong your statues are dope but a little out of my league. That star lord statue looks amazing.

Seriously, this is one of the books I look forward to each month. Reading him finding himself is amazing.
Daredevil (2019) is AMAZING. I recommend everyone buy the TPB (of the first arc, 1-5) off Amazon right now since it's on sale for $10. You don't need to really know what happened in the last series, and this new creative team is doing a great job so far.

The best thing about Daredevil 2019 is that it feels a lot like the Netflix series while keeping things veryyyy grounded - just how Daredevil should be. Also, the new characters introduced are pretty well-written and help give the plot new dimensions. Overall, a solid run and a must read!

Daredevil has literally never had a bad run! Zdarsky has been awesome so far.

I collected all the Bendis, Brubaker and Mark Waid runs in their ultimate / deluxe editions, and then the "Back in Black" (2016 to 2019) stuff in standard paperbacks, all complete, and I'm currently reading Mark Waid's stuff. You just got me even more hyped.

I’m a huge advocate of Daredevil and as such it is no small thing for me to say that this is the best Daredevil has been since Bendis was scripting. Those are big words when you consider that Brubaker and Waid have had amazing runs on the title since then. Zdarsky and Checchetto are killing it! This title isn’t getting the near attention it deserves.

Hey Gem! New subscriber here! Was just scrolling thru some Daredevil vids-- been in & out of the hospital the last few days due to a severe Crohn's flare & intestinal blockage. Pain was on a scale that the "normal" 0-10 scale doesn't allot for. So I haven't been able to do hardly anything but get what little sleep I can... but I feel like I'm on the mend & so I thought I'd cruise some vids about my favorite superhero[Punisher & Bats might be tied w/DD for 1st or are a close second, for me]& saw this one. I just finished the 2nd trade of this run, & I agree it is A HELLUVA STORY! And the art has been super solid too! I think this run "could" end up being truly epic! Thanx for plugging this run by Zdarsky & Checchetto/et al! It deserves the luv! Look forward to watching more of ur old & future vids! 😊👍🏻👍🏻

I just started re-reading DD again and I am with you, we are seeing another rise in the character, maybe the best yet!
Was the run that really got me back into collecting again. Started off by getting the death of daredevil then with the new "reboot" starting, decided to give it a shot and have been loving it.
Man I love this run!! I just got hip this weekend and read 1 to 5. And I can’t get enough. Glad you made a review on this.
Always been a Daredevil fan. I was late on this , and haven't been into comics in a really long time. But after watching the Netflix show I found out about this most recent run and had to hop on board. Loving it so far. Loved the Netflix series , hopefully they bring it back through Disney+ I was loving the way the storyline was playing it out on that. Thanks for the video ! (again, I know i'm late, just always been a fan of DD so i'm glad this run is looking so good )

I agree. I've enjoyed the last couple of DD issues. I love the "God" discussion. And my favorite DD villain as of relatively recently has been the spraypainting Muse.

Why buy singles? Why not wait for the collected edition/omnibus?
2 reasons...when waiting for trades and omnibus, you fall behind with what's current. Also they may only get tpbs, no guarantee for omnibus. Also, content for the channel

I just bought #11. The art is fantastic, I haven't read it yet because I don't have 1-10 but the art alone got me in and i've been hearing good things about this run. I'm looking forward to reading it all. I don't know if you're into fantasy but Jason Aaron's Conan has been pretty sick.
This Daredevil run is awesome,people are gonna be scrambling to get this run down the road.
Daredevil has always been a great read and this run is to , DD was the comic that got me started reading, DD 132 was the first comic book I ever bought and was hooked ever since

Zdarsky is clearly a fan of the Netflix iteration (aren't we all?!). Picked up the recent run due to it being on sale this week. Definite recommendation. Wish Checchetto was on the art duties more often, he's got a great handle on angles, impact and action.
Def an under rated book. My collection is getting a bit out of hand so I had to drop Daredevil but looks like I have to make room for this run.

I really enjoyed Zdarsky’s mini on Spider-Man: Life Stories which led me to this. I was pleasantly surprised on how much I loved this since I’m not really a DD fan. The art on this book is great between Checcheto, Sharma, and now back to Checcheto. I wasn’t feelin’ issue 9 with Fornes on art. The first 6 issues were definitely 🔥. It’s still been good after. DD, GotG and House and Powers are the titles that i always look forward to.
Daredevil is my first read when it comes out most times.

Chip Zdarsky is one of my favorite writers, his best no doubt is Howard the Duck. He's currently doing Invaders too. His Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man was awesome too (that's when Peter revealed he was Spider-Man to J. Jonah Jameson) and Marvel Two in One with that epic confrontation with Thing and Reed. He did a small Star-Lord run (I think this is where he first wrote Daredevil) during that Guardians of the Galaxy Disassembled/Grounded arc by Bendis and Spider-Man:Life Story. All worth checking out.

Yo been saying this since DD 1 dropped !Checchetto on art🔥 Zadarsky Writting , who is also doing Invaders, it's on issue 9. Witch to me a is the most underrated title right now ! Zadarsky's is killing all the titles he is working on !

I prefer Zdarsky's work on Invaders. That's a very underrated book you should check out.

Good call! I love this series really grounded material reads like the Netflix series. The scene with Punisher discussing the morality of killing is reminiscent of the TV show. I much prefer Checchetto’s art over Sharma’s though. Bring back Checchetto!!!! 😈 ✌🏽

If you are liking Chip Zdarsky's run on Daredevil. You should check out his recent Invaders run. I think it's better than Daredevil, and it doesn't get the love it deserves.
