Thank goodness, someone at last speaking up for JC. It's disgusting how he's been treated. I'm Scottish and not Labour, but I felt ashamed of the how many in the Labour are treating him.
I condemn how the Zionist state of Israel are treating the Palestinians, and will always speak out against them, or any regime like that
@Raw Engineer With respect, I have just read the article here, and it seems to refute what you are saying. He regrets using the word 'friends' and only meant it in the context of trying to encourage a coming together of different sides.
I'm exactly the same as you.
As a younger man I was a labour member and voter until Tony Blair.
Unfortunately lies and hate sell....unfortunately truth and love is somewhat harder to convince.
The sooner Scottish can break free of Westminster the better IMO.
Israel has morphed into perhaps the most overtly racist state on the planet and it is a testament to the corruption of mass media this fact goes wholly unreported. I defended and tried to set the record straight in many conversations about JC however I believe he failed all his supporters by a series of capitulations and appeasements. Had he supported brexit and attacked and exposed the Zionists then we would like be calling him PM.
@Robin Redbreast anyone who would make such a statement is highly probably exactly that themselves. If you want to know what real bigots and racists look like then you can take your pick from the Knesset. Anyone doubting that should watch the David Sheen here:

The fact that Corbyn was prevented being our PM will forever be the biggest grief in my life. I hate the media and establishment to the bottom of my soul.
Well said, Claire. I was so hopeful of a new, decent, caring society being built when Jeremy became the Labour leader, but a ton of cynical lies from the media put paid to that. May God forgive them, because I certainly can't.
Me too Claire.

The real world consequences of this attack on the left have been devastating.
@@fuckfannyfiddlefart ; I'm with you there. I've just sent him an email telling him that he has my respect and support after tonight's devastating news 😞
Jeremy Corbyn woke me up politically. You knew that the way the media and establishment went after him - that they needed him gone. This whole antisemitism smear against him was disgusting. The man has not a racist bone in his body. Today, and always, #IStandWithCorbyn
I'm not British so pardon me if it sounds like a silly question but do you think there are enough people who still stand with Corbyn so that it would make sense for him to build his own party? A party of democratic socialists like him. Because to me it seems like you can't put more progressive voices into the same old reactionary parties. It happened with Corbyn and it happened with Sanders. It happened in the early 2000s to Oskar Lafontaine, a former Social Democrat who went on to build a new, more left leaning Democratic Socialist party and the party at least is around 10 %. It's not much but I feel like in the UK there would be more of a chance for that to grow.
@@JacktheRah Many people have suggested he does just that. If he did I would be with him all the way. There's a massive political space on the left that needs filling. JC has been Labour all his life, and while many of his followers have now left the party - I have stayed aswell as thousands of others to try and shape the future. Sir Keir won't be around forever. The recent NEC election winners will be announced soon and hopefully the party will remain socialist at its core. As Tony Benn who could rightfully claim to be Corbyn's mentor once said "there is no final victory, as there is no final defeat. There is just the same battle. To be fought, over and over again. So toughen up, bloody toughen up."
@@JacktheRah He has misplaced loyalty to the Labour Party to the extent that he nominated his worst abusers to the House of Lords (Watson and McConnell). He is his own worst enemy in some ways - he believes that if you treat people reasonably, they will reciprocate.
There is no chance of him forming a new party and it is unlikely that he would even join it. There has to be one, the Party is too deeply infiltrated.
@@JacktheRah Even if such a party was formed it would be unlikely to ever get more than a handful of parliamentary seats due our electoral system in the UK which is crooked as anything. Neither of the main parties are in favour of changing the current system to proportional representation because it would enable smaller parties to get more seats and so encourage more people to

Blairites used this slur to bring down a man who challenged the establishment. This will surely go down as one of the most disgusting episodes in UK political history. Solidarity with Jeremy and all those who wish for a fairer society for all!
Unfortunately it depends on who writes the political history, the track record on political history is not great or honest: Corbyn gave the only hope in generations for a bright new future for society, sadly his own party didn't want it happen and worked from within the party to destroy him.
@@andylucas1175 As an outsider I agree with both your assessments. Imho Labour were concerned about the factional Corbyn supporters who call themselves Momentum, creating a party within a party and both sides then conducted witch-hunts to attempt to eliminate their opposition. At the very time when they should have been talking to establish common ground, oppose the most egregious government in modern history, they fought each other for control of the party instead. I had high hopes when Corbyn was elected leader but those hopes were slowly dashed as the tory controlled media seized on Labour in fighting to smear Corbyn with outright lies. The question now is, is it happening again to Starmer as the same factions fight each other instead of the real enemy?
@@Joe90V Unfortunately Starmer's actions against Corbyn and the expulsion of genuine left wing people, such as Ken Loach, has shown him to be nothing more than a Bliarite who leans heavily towards Toryism. Subsequently New Labour as opposed to Labour, for that is what it truly has returned to become after Corbyn, will not get my vote: Better to hate the Tories in power rather than personally being responsible for electing a detestable Toryesque New Labour party into power: I made that mistake with Bliar, I won't let it happen again.
@@andylucas1175 Meanwhile the damage to your country continues and I can only watch you slide ever further into authoritarianism. Their hatred of centrism is stronger than their hatred of fascism. Sadly, this destructive path leads only downward.
But I'm an unhappy spectator.
@@Joe90V Centrism merely offers more of the same and continues the political status quo, voting for a facsimile Tory party will not help improve society one iota: We need an honest and decent opposition not an appeasement party. Sadly there is nowt on the horizon and the nation will continue to vote for right wing parties who will destroy society for their own greed. Until FPTP is changed to a proportional representation voting system many in society are basically disenfranchised in general elections.

Being committed to criticising the State of Israel is not being Antisemitic.
Irish and EU Citizen
Is that what they are calling antisemitic? That's just wrong. I don't know much about modern day Israel (I've studied loads on historic Israel though) but I'm pretty sure that there are loads of things that the country does that justifies criticism. The same goes for every other country around the world, including the UK and US. I've always considered antisemitic as being associated with hate for the Jewish (Hebrew) religion.
But why does the radical left single out Israel for criticism when there are so many countries to choose from?
@@topd0wn I have no idea mate. I'm not political. I hate politics and I don't even know what left and right means when it comes to politics (only that it has something to do with politics). I've looked it up a few times, but I've always came away more confused than before I looked. I'm 49, I've never voted, I will never vote and I consider all politicians corrupt. Like I said though. I don't know anything about modern Israel. I know tones about ancient Israel. I love studying those periods of history. There is so much mystery about it.
@@topd0wn Two things:1) "radical left"? 2) It has served as a destablising force in the Middle East, which affects us all, and is heavily supported by the biggest military state in the world. Not cause we're all obsessed with anti-semitism
@@topd0wn No-one is saying that there are no anti-semites on the Left or in the Labour Party. Clearly there are, and they should be called out. But the anti-semitic tag is routinely used to bludgeon anyone - including Corbyn - who is critical of Israeli government policies.
Canada - Calling Jeremy Corbyn an Anti-semite is like calling MLK a racist . It's reprehensible !
So why don't we see thousands of Jews outside Israeli embassies
protesting and chanting not in our name? Why did we not see thousands of
Jews marching in defence of Jeremy Corbyn? Perhaps they just didn't give
a shit!
I'm not from the UK. Knowing nothing about this, I had guessed that this was what was going on. Socialist parties have always supported Palestinian rights. For goodness sake there are Israelis that criticize their government. That's not antisemitism.
The right wing of the party were trying to get Corbyn out from the moment he got elected as leader (which was never supposed to happen). It was constant, one thing after another and the media enabling it. But nothing worked, and then the 2017 election happened and it was a huge success and a shock - Labour came within a few thousand votes (in the right places) of winning power
So that's when it really stepped up, he was a threat to the establishment (including in the Labour party) and he had to go. And they hit on antisemitism and attacking him on his strengths, and it was the one thing that seemed to work. It was absolutely non-stop, wall to wall coverage, even though nobody cared enough about antisemitism to even *mention* it before (or since - same party, same process, same members, problem magically disappeared though...)
So it's not about campaigning for Palestinian rights really, or even antisemitism. That's just an excuse, a tool that was used to attack a left-wing Labour specifically, and especially Corbyn. And it served its purpose so suddenly nobody cares much about it anymore, unless there's a chance to kick a leftist out
If it is anti-semitism, there must be quite a few anti-Semitic Jews around.
@@cactustactics you make a good point. His opponents would have used anything to attack him with but as Feinstein says, by using the smear that Corbyn is antisemitic they undermine genuine efforts to tackle this form of bigotry.

Calling people antisemites because they don't support Israel is inherently antisemitic itself. Conflating Israel and Jewish people is inherently antisemitic. Not only does it basically say "You're just Jewish when you're born in Israel" but also ignores that Israel is incredibly discriminatory to non Israel born Jewish people. Ashkenazi Jews are told exactly that, that they're not "real Jews". While a lot of young people in Israel protest all day against the Israeli government doing what they do. What is the media trying to say? That those young Israelis are antisemitic as well? This can no longer be tolerated. Fascism comes in many forms and the Israeli government certainly found their favourite brand of fascism. And the media supports it.
It's not just that though. They didn't start with antisemitism. First they accused him of bullying. That fell flat. Then they accused him of mysogny. That fell flat. Then they tried antisemitism. Firstly people were saying that Corbyn himself isn't antisemitic but that he allows other people to be. It took a couple of years for them to get the full on accusation to stick.
Now the party has a leader who allows the Board of Deputies, a group almost totally made up of Tory Jews, to set policy for the Labour Party.
It is not sustainable as a party until they have the courage just to say that this is nonsense and it is not going to be discussed any more.
Thank you for real and honest journalism.

Thank you Andrew. Solidarity.
Thankyou Andrew for standing up and being counted.I salute you .
Thank you DD and thank you Mr Feinstein.
Well said Andrew;-)
You should look at the far right parties for this disgraceful smearing of good people for there own gain !
I can't believe how on earth we ended up in a position where I'd wholeheartedly stand by Corbyn on something. Just goes to show how important this issue is and how disgusting the behaviour in government has been.
Candidly this is about the most real and accurate appraisal of racism I have ever heard. I am too a Jew and I am blessed by your opinion. Political zealots, as with so many causes, have hijacked a cause for their own self-righteous and political ends. They spin with disjointed logic and in the name of freedom deny others their right to freedom of speech. For instance I will be critical of the atrocities committed by Israel (but then what nations do not commit atrocity), yet I will still love Israel. Moreover, I have suffered discrimination in my life (but then who has not?), but never has it been because I am a Jew. If anything as being a Jew I have always been respected.
🤔 Malcolm, you emphasis your status as a Jew. I emphasise my status as a human being. What is the difference? Both of us are members of one biological species of humanity, namely Homo sapiens. Neither you nor I are of different ‘races’ of humans. Thus there is no valid concept of ‘racism’ at all. It is a pseudoscience created by 19th century quasi-anthropology to justify bigotry from ignorance. What is taking place in Israel and other areas is a civil war between family members of the same Middle Eastern heritage. Members of Jewish descent have every right to live in their ancestral homeland but accepting that other cousins also live there by right. Given the horrors of the Holocaust it is no surprise that Israel is needed to offer protection to Jewish people but not at the exclusion of others. Hamas must be resisted as it will not accept the state of Israel , while more needs to be done to publicise the inclusion of non Jewish citizens in Israeli society, as members of the Knesset and the judiciary.
@@sirmeowthelibrarycat You make some quality ethical points. The debate is whether national identity is a good thing or a bad thing. I think it is a good thing, but then that is not an excuse to be racist. People do need a culture to express identity, and moreover different cultures give colour to civilisation.
Too often, people accuse people who don't support Zionism, as being anti-semetic.
One is a political stance, the other a cultural reality.
Well done, sir! Such a relief to hear lucid truth on this matter, articulated perfectly. Well done!!!
#IStandWithJeremyCorbyn
They will do anything to stop people getting a decent wage and somewhere to call home
What we all know to be true ,we are not allowed to think. Thank you for articulating this .
All this will happen again if we don’t get rid of this government
by doing this Starmer has inoculated fascists on the right from inspection in a very dangerous time. It's disingenuous politically but more so irresponsible and naive. this could lurch and polarise politics even more than they already are.
The political philosophy of Zionism needs anti-Semitism in order to justify itself.
And if it can’t readily find any it will invent it.
You do not know what you are talking about. Educate yourself on the different types of Zionism that exist (labour Zionism, revisionist Zionism, etc.) and then come back.
Jeremy Corbyn is a wonderful being, Thank you for standing up for him. WE who think and root a little deeper know what the TRUTH is.
Wonderful words of wisdom, humanity and rights for all the peoples of this planet. Thank you for speaking out.
This is the era of the far right.
💯 REAL TALK 👏💖
Bless you and your family.
Politics aside, what a tragic familly history. So sorry to hear this, and very glad to have you and so many other descendants of Hollocaust survivors with us today.
Bravo
In order to show that the Labour Party takes AntiSemitism seriously, they have to show that false allegations of AS are taken just as seriously.
Thank you Andrew for your take, its so refreshing and reinvigorating to watch it.
I agree! So good to hear someone with so much integrity speaking the truth.
I love Bernice and Corbyn, miss you guys from London
