The fact that we are discussing a two state solution as if creating two states from Palestine is not an enormous imposition on Palestinian rights is ridiculous. This assumption that Palestine is obligated to give up any of it's pre 1948 territory without a vote from Palestinians to that effect is a violation of Palestinian human rights.
Where do you want us, the 7.1 million Jews who have been ethnically cleansed from various parts of the world, including many Muslim countries, to go? Before suggesting Europe, it's important to mention that only 44% of Israeli Jews are descendants from Europe. Approximately 10% are of mixed origins, and the rest include Jews and their descendants from Muslim-majority countries across Africa and Asia, with 3% being Jews and their descendants from Ethiopia. We literally have nowhere to go. Also, advocating for a one-state solution and expecting it to end well after decades of fighting, killing, and hating each other is naive. This does not mean that Jews from Europe have no right to be there. The suffering of Palestinians in 1948 was indeed tragic. But in my view, this was also a consequence of the broader outcomes of World War II and the Holocaust, events that inflicted immense suffering on numerous nations and can very much icluding the Jewish people. This led to a situation where, after years of violence and persecution, a point of no return was reached. The repeated pogroms highlighted the necessity for a Jewish state, particularly in the aftermath of the Holocaust. I agree that Palestinians suffered greatly during the Nakba, Recognizing Palestinian suffering is important, but you can't reverse history or place sole blame on the Jewish people for these events. We have a right to exist here. Just as many nations, including ours, are trying to to move beyond those painful times, so too must the Palestinian people. This does not mean it is there isn't an urgent need to address the ongoing suffering, discrimination, oppression, and deaths inflicted upon Palestinians by the State of Israel. But the only just and logical solution is establishing a Palestinian state alongside an Israeli one.

We decent human beings in the diaspora who stand against Israeli apartheid and oppression need to activate, connect and organise and start putting immense pressure on the hypocritical governments of the West who are propping up Israel, especially the US. We can: * Use our votes in elections and vote out any Pro-Israeli politicians. There are more of us around the world than there are Pro- Israelis, we can do this if we organise! This will scare the hell out of the “other team” and they will try to counter it but we can do it. * Second point and it’s almost more important. Most of us Pro- Palestinians are highly educated and now have money in our pockets. We need to put this into use for the cause. Companies, celebrities and politicians specifically in the West will not let anything come in the way of their income. If we organise and boycott any Pro-Israeli entity or person, they will soon change their tune, in the least they will stop their public support for Israel. * Third and final point, we need to do something to help good Palestinian leaders to take the leadership positions on the ground in Palestine to represent their people and capitalise on above points. They need to deliver a just two-state solution urgently. * We can do this, it might take a while but justice is on our side and we have to stand hand in hand with the Palestinians. I disagree that this can be called "Apartheid ". This is much, much worse. I worked in hospitals for People of Colour, during Apartheid South Africa.
The poorest of the poor had access to hospitals, water and clinics. It was a terrible system.

The fact that we are discussing a two state solution as if creating two states from Palestine is not an enormous imposition on Palestinian rights is ridiculous. This assumption that Palestine is obligated to give up any of it's pre 1948 territory without a vote from Palestinians to that effect is a violation of Palestinian human rights.
Where do you want us, the 7.1 million Jews who have been ethnically cleansed from various parts of the world, including many Muslim countries, to go? Before suggesting Europe, it's important to mention that only 44% of Israeli Jews are descendants from Europe. Approximately 10% are of mixed origins, and the rest include Jews and their descendants from Muslim-majority countries across Africa and Asia, with 3% being Jews and their descendants from Ethiopia. We literally have nowhere to go. Also, advocating for a one-state solution and expecting it to end well after decades of fighting, killing, and hating each other is naive. This does not mean that Jews from Europe have no right to be there. The suffering of Palestinians in 1948 was indeed tragic. But in my view, this was also a consequence of the broader outcomes of World War II and the Holocaust, events that inflicted immense suffering on numerous nations and can very much icluding the Jewish people. This led to a situation where, after years of violence and persecution, a point of no return was reached. The repeated pogroms highlighted the necessity for a Jewish state, particularly in the aftermath of the Holocaust. I agree that Palestinians suffered greatly during the Nakba, Recognizing Palestinian suffering is important, but you can't reverse history or place sole blame on the Jewish people for these events. We have a right to exist here. Just as many nations, including ours, are trying to to move beyond those painful times, so too must the Palestinian people. This does not mean it is there isn't an urgent need to address the ongoing suffering, discrimination, oppression, and deaths inflicted upon Palestinians by the State of Israel. But the only just and logical solution is establishing a Palestinian state alongside an Israeli one.

Who is this guy? Never heard anything so profound. God Almighty, if people had only heed his advice this conflict would have ended many years ago. And, all these tens of thousands of people who have been killed . . . ?
We decent human beings in the diaspora who stand against Israeli apartheid and oppression need to activate, connect and organise and start putting immense pressure on the hypocritical governments of the West who are propping up Israel, especially the US. We can:
* Use our votes in elections and vote out any Pro-Israeli politicians. There are more of us around the world than there are Pro- Israelis, we can do this if we organise! This will scare the hell out of the “other team” and they will try to counter it but we can do it.
* Second point and it’s almost more important. Most of us Pro- Palestinians are highly educated and now have money in our pockets. We need to put this into use for the cause. Companies, celebrities and politicians specifically in the West will not let anything come in the way of their income. If we organise and boycott any Pro-Israeli entity or person, they will soon change their tune, in the least they will stop their public support for Israel.
* Third and final point, we need to do something to help good Palestinian leaders to take the leadership positions on the ground in Palestine to represent their people and capitalise on above points. They need to deliver a just two-state solution urgently.

We can do this, it might take a while but justice is on our side and we have to stand hand in hand with the Palestinians. The arc of history is long but it leans towards justice. Be part of making history, join us in freeing Palestine!
