- Episode one of a new map playthrough. This is one of the default maps of HoMM3, added by the Armageddon's Blade expansion. The Rampart player seems to get a particularly rough start on this map and it will take some time to overcome it.
The featured hero for this playthrough will be Ufretin the Ranger, a Dwarf specialist overlooked by pretty much all serious players. Let's put some respect on him and his mighty beard.

I'm a Тower player. I have great memories of every game. Even in the case when in Gameranger channel I was beaten by a Rampart player on a small map right at the beginning of the game itself. Just Centaurs combined with Grant-Elves is a great combo and very cheap, Tower are weaker in the beginning because of the more expensive units, and even though I took out Nagas for the third week I was defeated by the Centaur-Elf combo. It was a great game even though I lost it was a very exciting experience.

I've never was great at the game but this is one of my favorites! Glad to find your channel, maybe I'll play a little bit better after watching...
Back in the day, if a map had an unfavourable start like this one I would have quit. I was never a great player, I always played on easy or normal. Just played for fun and struggling in the beginning was not my idea of fun.

what was the challange? I thought it was dwarf-only at first
57:09 you had the artifact that would make bless last for 3 rounds, instead you chose 20 damage with magic arrow :P
even if Bless lasted 1 round, I'd still pick that, since morale and luck can kick in, making it the optimal choice no matter what
