That garrison and the fights, the struggle against overwhelming odds, this start was even harder than the Dwarf Tunnels start. Isn't it too risky leaving yourself with so few units in the early/midgame? Wouldn't it be wiser to build a few structures and recruit creatures to go out - and then, when you have capitol and an economy going, you can build up on upgrades?
Not going for a gold mine before the garrison was a huge no no. Also how could You not figure that red custle is above You when all his Heroes were coming from there?
I fully understand running into that garrison. I just played the "Playing with Fire campaign" where you fight about a thousand "packs" of zombies and vampires but on the final map I accidentally ran into 500 vampire Lords.
I'm really bad at HOMM3 and only play single player. I have no interest in watching just to watch, but since you're playing on impossible I'm just watching to learn. Nice job.

Little delayed on watching but I personally do prefer water magic on Fortress in sieges to tp over walls with Gorgon's/Hydras, specially on small maps with lots of enemies

Iv'e currently set myself the goal of completing all single scenarios on impossible difficulty. Im playing on the complete edition. So far iv'e only had difficulties with the battle of the sexes and the five rings. Would love to see you try those ones out!

I think I use the GOG version... maybe 2nd hand CD copies are still a thing. If not, I would suggest asking for help in community spaces like Reddit or Heroes Community

Does the difficulty only affect human players? I know Impossible completely removes the starting resources from human players and possibly makes the AI more focused on sea,Ed human players, like in _Command & Conquer,_ but what about AI player resources?
i don't understand this gameplay at all... you keep buying worthless buildings like gnoll quarters (why would you need more of them? playing on impossible difficulty you will never be able to buy everything anyway, the unit sucks and the town has a lot of other more valuable units) and bunch of pointless heroes (what's the value in Jeddite in those circumstances? none) but then you don't use those buildings, leave the heroes standing behind despite having resources available to pick up everywhere, you have like 20 000 worth of gold in available units but keep wasting 2500 on heroes who sit around doing nothing while enemy has heroes nearby and you could wipe them out if not for wasted gold... you complain about not having gold to purchase units from more than two dwellings while sitting on 50 crystals and jewels... you could have easily had double the army on week 5, probably more than that. Also you didn't pay attention to enemy movement whatsoever, red heroes kept coming from top left corner but you ignored that part of the map. You had main hero with Wisdom close to town and guild mage available to upgrade but you refused to grab easy level 2 and 3 spells. Another thing which bothered me is that you stubbornly kept waiting with ranged unit on first turn in every single fight even when it was clear you will not get to shoot without penalty which multiple times meant you chose to not weaken enemy units before they would attack you and suffered bigger losses from their attacks than you should. You clearly have a lot of knowledge of the game considering your great use of one stacks, preparation before taking on buildings like crypts etc. but at the same time there were so many mistakes... Also, the garrison guarding neutral town being strong couldn't be more obvious. These are always very strong when they are far away from the player. Not to mention how garrison was still unclaimed despite having bunch of heroes roaming around it.
I've never seen the one group of creatures with the Snake looking thing and the lizard head dude and the two dragons. Is that a mod or another expansion?
I can't remember exactly, but I think you lost a lot of movement at 1:55, I think you should pick up the gems vertically, sulphur horizontally and go for the wood. Possibly skip the obelisk and pick it up later when you are picking up 12gnolls again
So, i would take the fight outside of the castle so you can flee if you think the battle is most likely going to be a loss. On this map, which is such a tough map, it makes sense.

Press the spacebar when you're on top of them, no need to run out and back again. This also works for most objectives, not just dwellings and portals.
