0:33 - Professional Mind Fuckers 2:17 - Headcount 3:28 - Products of a Cold War (Tragedy Song) 4:40 - You Are An Experiment (Tragedy Song) 7:28 - Paranoia Secured Im very hard of hearing, and making these out of this wall of noise of a video was difficult but I fucking love HHIG and these few live videos are epic.
You hit the nail on the head actually. That song @ 4:40 is "You Are An Experiment" off Tragedy's first LP...which is also still their best release imo. This set ruled. Thanks!
This could not have been very long before His Hero's final show. A great upload! As others have noted, this show featured unfinished versions of what would become two different Tragedy songs, both of which were released the year after this show on their first record. Products of a Cold War is @ 3:28 and Your Are An Experiment is @ 4:40. Paul wore that hat a lot that summer, good times to remember.
Just one more comment here…it’s remarkable that they played zero songs from their final album (The Plot Sickens) but played not one, but two nascent Tragedy songs. Great stuff, heady times, I miss those days. They made some of the most impactful art humans were making at the time.
Man, those few unreleased HHIG songs in this live performance... One of them sounds like Tragedy. What they could of evolved into, l really wish l could of seen the Future albums' cover art and known its name, the track list. What they could of been - more. They sounded like they would of gotten even better somehow.
