straight outta nashville babyyy remember seeing them for the first time in like 2010 and was instantly my favorite heavy band, it just sound unlike anything ive ever heard drummer is also the sickest most talented drummer(also went to high school with him) this band fuckin RIPS all recording don’t do a live show justice, you HAVE to see em live to experience this bands full sound hands down
I've watched this 20+ times full. They take all of the parts of heavy music I like and make it one band and I'll always come back to this video for that reason.
I just discovered this band by watching this video, and I can't believe how good they are. Apparently, they were right under my nose the whole time. I've seen some of their older bands. I think I might like this recording better than the "proper" releases, too.
Yeah dude...this recording definitely enhances the experience that is Yautja. And they're tight as fuck too, musically and instumentally. Saw them with Sumac and Infernal Coil last year at The Earl in Atlanta . They stole the show.
So sick to see Yautja on audiotree. Not a band you would think to see on this channel. Absolutely love how they combine Grind and Sludge. A common combination but they're style is unmatched.
I caught Yautja without knowing them a few years back opening for can't remember who and holy shit they totally stole the night, these guys have such a powerful loud feeling live.
So when I saw you y'all in New York at St. Vitus just days before this was filmed I knew you guys were awesome, but it wasn't until a few days ago back here in Minneapolis that I was told how awesome and lucky I was to see you on at a random show out there. I was just out for there for a film festival and stumbled upon the show. Really glad I picked up a CD and a shirt. Sincerely, The one guy at the amongst the Trap Them hardcore kids who tried to start a circle pit.
A lot of His Hero Is Gone in the sound here, especially considering all three guys vocals. Great sound in the writing and playing- very diverse mix of the hard subgenres! Glad this is an Alabama band. Played great at Spring Street Firehouse a few months ago!
Right? i play drums and was seriously impressed with not only the drummer, but the guitarists amazing tone and control, makes a 300dollar ibanez or whatever sound like a hot rodded SG or les paul, fawking great to see new bands sound original. drummer looks like Mick Harris napalm death harmony corruption era.
yes jautja nat blored dhas correct apresieishon, Jāütjṣåhz comander, hi is. hi dhast full proscess of hunting, correctly aciured anderstud properly did nat miss a thing ov war ai set, sou.. yu oll rery hav yur banny hunted in yu'r own hend comander. dear god, what the hell, this is the kind of band you watch and you're just like...that sounds fucking sick
ikr I feel like they just barfed onto some sheet music and then played that
Holy fucking shit this drummer is downright inspiring
he's in the band 'thou' as well definitely worth checking out
That drummer is sick
Ярослав Каменев He's my favorite metal drummer for sure. you should check out Gnarwhal, its his other main project.
He's OK check out. Darren Cesca
@@opticwiddly5263 Bro you stupid?, don't you see difference in the drum kit he is using?
@@neiklotd1sp41r8 hes a very tammed drummer. He aintt no Derran Cesca
He looks healthy to me
One of the best metal bands out there right now
How can this exist for several years without me knowing about it? Holy hell! This is the rawest shit I've heard in a long time.
better late than fucking never my guy! i feel like these guys will get big soon.

If you weren't there to hear it did they really exist in the first place?
@@mynameismark25 well they’re not trees so probably yes

Damn. These are the lost saints of Tennessee. Can't wait until they're on tour again.
I discovered this band from Emma ruth rundle shirt. Blew my mind!
For someone who makes such pretty music, she sure has a nasty music taste. Which I appreciate.
So sick to see Yautja on audiotree. Not a band you would think to see on this channel. Absolutely love how they combine Grind and Sludge. A common combination but they're style is unmatched.
Hard to handle how filthy this is. Processed has to be my fav metal song I've discovered recently, so chaotic.
I caught Yautja without knowing them a few years back opening for can't remember who and holy shit they totally stole the night, these guys have such a powerful loud feeling live.
This band's writing and performance is fantastic. Kudos to whoever recorded and mixed the guitar - tone is perfect!
the guitarist did!
Saw them live and they manage to be even better than their recorded album.
I've watched this so many times
saw these guys just a few days ago and they sounded absolutely colossal. been listening to their new album on repeat
So when I saw you y'all in New York at St. Vitus just days before this was filmed I knew you guys were awesome, but it wasn't until a few days ago back here in Minneapolis that I was told how awesome and lucky I was to see you on at a random show out there. Great story 10/10 ending
Just saw this band last night w/ revocation, they absolutely destroyed, and good god that drummer is the fuckin MVP
See kids? this is how you play badass drums without using a double pedal.
Shure thing
tyler's not against using double bass, he uses one in Alraune. but yeah dude fucking shreds. you can be sick or lame on any kind of kit honestly
the guy makes me hate myself
@@KilpatrickProductions feeling you so damn bad
who gives a shit if you use a double kick or not
Just now discovering this band after the new release and holy fuuuuuuuuuuck they’ve ripped for years
i swear, i come back to this performance repeatedly, it's so damned solid!!!!
This recording sounds better than any of their albums, great job. Grabbed it from Bandcamp now!
Great performance - musicians on point and absolute gorgeous footage !
Tyler is such a beast of a drummer, singing and playing with that precision and groove is just absurd. Found this band through Gnarwhal ;^)
Is this band named after the predator?
yesyup
These dudes slay so hard. Yautja forever.
blew my fucking MIND opening for Cult Leader years ago. Also one of their shirts go me to break up with a toxic ex. Thanks dudes!
Drummer looks like Edgar Allan Poe
Or Jesse Pinkman with a stache
Thou's drummer!

Talk State yo, they're actually from Nashville Tennessee.
+Doug Maes My mistake . Somehow got the impression.
they have that southern sludge sound for sure.
Kayhan lives in Alabama, so they kind of psuedo not really are slightly Alabama-ish, but they're from right here in Nashville
drums are absolutely fucking nuts
tyler shreds
I just saw these guys this past weekend and they fucking blew me away.
I just saw them Saturday in little rock......mind... blowing....
A member from Great Falls just showed me this. Holy shit, its fucking awesome. You guys are great. Time for you to make a stop in Seattle.
Woah wasn't expecting a richmond shoutout lol. Lovejail is now called Chicken Fiesta.
I owe these guys 5 bucks.
This dudes gonna be in Thou? Holy shit. That’s gonna be fucking crazy.
They finally recovered from losing you. Looking forward to hearing what he’s been up to on the new album
@@adammcjohnson5080 haha if that were true they might actually speak to me
Is it just me or do the drummer's vocals sound identical to James Pligge of Harm's Whey
I see what you did there.
FYI this entire recording is on Spotify. Also
22:45 is filthy.
Fucking brutal dudes. Awesome sound. lml
That drummer is a fuckin god
Tryptikon + Morbid Angel ? love it !
Yeah, melt my face!!!!!!
I see a lot of maggio influence in that bad ass drummer ❤️💪❤️😎
Who the FUCK gave this a thumbs-down?
Pardon my French, i don't know Mick Harris is in this band. Grind on !!!
They kind of remind me of Swarm of the Lotus from back in the day.
So so so great. I need more so's.
This rules.
I think these guys are Sludgy Rock band with Extreme Instrumentation and Screaming Vocals. Yes, It's Rock than Metal, I feel that way for some reason.
I feel like your description is definitely accurate. But, isn't rock with "extreme instrumentation" and "screaming vocals" just called....metal? Lol
That's why it's weird lol.
They have a strong noise rock vibe to me. I saw them live last month and they have more churning groove than I expected.
the drummer is bonkers man good shit dudes
Хорошо
Yautja !!
Hangover imprisoned in the vibrating flesh of existence.
What cymbals does he use?? Dark on all three or is the ride medium?
judging from the video alone (haven't done a google yet), it's k regular hats, dark crash and custom medium ride
These guys rule
The drummers' vocals remind me of Gorefest !!!!!! \m/
Oh my!
reminds my album Napalm Death - Diatribes
good
So fucking good
14:09 tho
this band fucks so hard
Shits fire
5:22 yes
Soooo good, but the video doesn't do their live sets justice. They're so fucking loud.
What tuning are they in? Sounds brutal!
kinda sounds like C standard
I'm very curious to know whats is making this guitar sound so huge
Ive been trying to emulate that tone for a hot min
Hm-2

For one thing, he is stacking riffs. Shibby is using a looper with some prerecorded riffs and is playing them in real time on top.
what on earth, are u sure young chap?@@SunofShasta
Killer!
Just saw a post from Jay Weinberg about being nominated for best metal drummer. I had to come re watch this to remind myself he's not :p
anybody know how to get that sick ass guitar tone? Tight bass with them mids
It sounds like he’s running some kind of HM-2
Devastating.
Bloody oath
ドラムかっこいい👍ワンバスかな?
Is this Mark Bronzino from Iron Regan on drums ? If not they look very similar....
