Rise keep in mind that you can always use the presets on your camera. If you are outside use the sun icon, if you are inside under orangeish or tungsten lights, use the light bulb. They will get you pretty close
Hey YCImaging, Thanks for the helpful information! Here are 3 apps I have on my Iphone: Green Screener Movie Slate Filmic Pro DSLRGuide mentioned an app in one of his older videos which help a filmmaker find extras if the extras who are scheduled don't show up for a shoot. I unfortunately don't remember the name of the app, but it was talked about in one of his videos where he made a video project in 48 hours or something to that sort. There are also apps which allow the Iphone to shoot raw photos. I've heard the Moment app is great, and it doesn't require a Moment lens. Filmic Pro is great and allows presets (like 4K Extreme) which helps to capture a moment fast as if accessing the Iphone's native camera app. Googe Photos is really nice too if you need to get photos up quick from your phone. - Paul
Dope vid as always. Very informative. The only feedback I have is maybe quickly telling the price of some of the apps. That will give people an idea of what they should go and look for. Keep the dope content coming.
You should also have FIlmicProV6. You never know when you are going to be without your A camera. Having this app on your phone will make sure you never miss a shot.
I just played Lee Pace’s stand-in for a movie that’s coming out called “Driven” and the DP kept whipping Artemis out every 2 minutes. Had to ask about it. Looks great!
I think the temperature meters should be used with something true white or grey in the space you're filming in. Otherwise, pointed at the face, the app might think I want my face, or anything colored, white.
Quick question, your audio is very subtle and clear. What do you use to edit your audio? I have a blue yeti as well and can’t figure out how to level my voice out.
what app can I use to just still the automatic exposer chnage of the camera while I'm moving it? what app is the best for filming? mine phone is samsung A9 which is supposed to do the filming quite well, but its own filming app is just crap and gets blurred all the time with a little bit of camera move. Thanks a lot for your help.
Dude, appreciate you and you content!! Thank you!!! Watch you audio, not so good on this video b/c of all of your movements. Maybe a Lav would have worked better on this one.
Yo! Wicked video! Really helpful. What about apps like Instagrams Hyperlapse and others that improve/help you film directly onto your phone when you need to get a shot for some b-roll etc? Maybe you could do a video on some of those? If you use them that is...
Thank you for your time and effort on these videos as I find your channel very informative. Quick question. With the apps above (Light Spectrum Pro and Light Meter) would that eliminate the need to purchase the $299 Lumu Power?
5:29 This is just messing me up. If you were recording this live, how was your waveform already in premiere pro? Did you just film this portion afterwards?
I LOVE these apps!
Any suggestions on more? Comment below!

Quick question, your audio is very subtle and clear. What do you use to edit your audio? I have a blue yeti as well and can’t figure out how to level my voice out.

Very useful. Bigup.
5:29 This is just messing me up. If you were recording this live, how was your waveform already in premiere pro? Did you just film this portion afterwards?
