The sound track to the original is brilliant, I used to have it on vinyl but lost it somewhere over the years gone by , I remember going to the record shop aged 13 and I brought Blade Runner soundtrack and The Good the Bad and the ugly sound track, I did a paper round for months to pay for them 😂

I'm so conflicted, I want to live in a city like this, in a high rise apartment with all the neon lights and all the noise, all the alley ways and advertisment everywhere. But I also just want to leave society behind and go live in the bush somewhere alone. Away from everyone and all the bullshit. Just nothing but the fresh air, trees and the wild animals.

I saw this film for the first time in 1982. Since then I have seen it 5 or 6 times. I think is one of the best sci fi moovies done ever. Even today is a film that can be seen. How many movies from the eighties are watchable today? It was certainly the first film that drew my attention to the importance of soundtrack in creating the atmosphere.
I feel the same way, it's a fantastic film with a great soundtrack.

Strange, was a fan of Blade Runner just after it came out. It was certainly ahead of its time giving us a peak of a dystopian future with very few social bonds.

I would love to see one of your Blade Runner videos with the flying cars pulling into a building's parking garage. I keep thinking about how that would look. We see them flying but would be incredible to see one or more getting to their destination.

I thought this was a continuous render for ages, just thought to check and it is a 5.5 minute looping animation.
It's so well done I didn't notice.
Maybe it's just a long enough loop that i've never seen the seam, but it's great either way.
First loop starts at 0:14 and ends at about 5:47

I have watched Bladerunner, in its various forms, well over a hundred times. It is my all-time, hands-down favorite movie, and I am a huge cinephile, so that is saying a lot, given how broad my tastes are. I fell in love with Ridley Scott's depiction of Deckard's world and interpretation of PK Dick's novel, so there are already, unsurprisingly, a few Bladerunner ambience channels saved on my ambience playlist. Not a single one comes close to yours. Yours are the best I have ever found, and I am saving every one to my playlist and can delete the others, because there is little point in watching them again. So happy I found your content! Great work! 🖤
Thank you, that is so encouraging! I do love making these videos and each one is a challenge to improve on the last. I remember reading about Blade Runner before it came out and I was quite intrigued. I couldn't wait to see it and was just blown away when I did see it for the first time. What baffled me, at the time, was why everyone else hated it, I really couldn't get that. I guess it just needed time to find its audience, a little bit like 2001 or David Lynch's version of Dune.
@@StrangeWorldsAmbience I saw it when it first came out, and was one of fewer than ten people in the theater and sat through it a second time. Got it on VHS when it was first released and proceeded to go through multiple tapes over time before the director's cut and the other versions started coming out on DVD. I appreciated 2049 and have it also but it doesn't have the magic of the original, imo. I am *always* in the mood to watch it.

Thanks for the sub, much appreciated. Yes I create these videos in Blender. I did initially use geometry nodes but found I was adjusting so much manually to get the look I was after that I now prefer to create the building scape with just a basic node structure.
It wouldn't seem improper at all if you were to go to other render creators' comment sections to leave a complement. As for me, all I would need to be drawn to your content is to see your username in a comment somewhere.
"Ambient Renders" is another talented creator with a large base.
Also, "Hello Korea" is an amazing videographer - also with a following.

Never leave a animal alone in dead silence, this blade runner ambient genre seems to be what my two eclectus parrots and my 3 cats like to listen to when I'm asleep or while I'm away for a few hours. The music adds to their natural happiness.

Such a beautiful dystopia. It sadens that this will never come to fruition. Its a romantic realm built for poetry.
AI would change everything weve imagined. No need for sprawl. Humans shrinking into a memory. Maybe the AI has an ambition that would change the landscape. More likely it would turn inward. A cyber reality.
It’s a strange thing that people (myself included) are intrigued and drawn to the Blade Runner dystopia. It would be a hard place to live in, I guess. Hopefully AI and mankind can find a way to avoid this outcome.

It's a 3 minute track that's slowed down to half speed and repeated like 160 times.
Set the speed to 1.75 or 2.0 and hear what the actual music is supposed to sound like, though it's going to be distorted.
