In an unknown location deep within the Arizona desert, an electrical substation exists. A thick blanket of snow and fog covers the entirety of America as the soft hum of the power distribution system projects into the void.
Owned and controlled by Wallace Corporation, the substation provides power generation to much of the West Coast. The facility is entirely automated, with only a small replicant workforce maintaining the operations 24/7.
This soundscape is soft and ethereal in nature. It features lush cyberpunk pads, deep saw bass, natural snow ambience, voice and sci-fi effects, ethereal tones and Blade Runner synths. It is perfect for sleep, relaxation, meditation, study and focus. My music could be described as Blade Runner ambience, sci-fi ambient music, cyberpunk ambience, sleep ambient music, relaxing ambient, soft ambience.

try listening when doing weed if its legal where you are. It opens up your mind & lets it travel loosely its really a peaceful space.

Often when younger, I would leave the main menu screen on of 'Thief 2: The metal age'. It was the, (un-forseen), progenitor style to the 'Steam Punk' style. It was basically just a factory 'hum' noise, with rhythmic intermissions, which made me feel safe, hiding in the corner of some coal-powered, steam-driven bowels of an engine room somewhere deep within the vast halls of some even larger fabrication complex. I would always go and hide in places as a child. A dark, quiet corner. It wasn't until later in life that I realised it was linked to trauma, but it's the comforting aspect that matters.
This track gives me that vibe, as it were. I feel safe, hidden in a dark corner somewhere. The drone masking my presence and the noises are my companions within the unseen, lofty corners of this great etherial hall of metal and stone.

Thief fan enrolls to service! I loved hiding in childhood as well, hide and seek in dark with lamps was very thief-like. Got the same jump scares in real-life as in the game that way. Any chances you are at least partially introvert?
Thanks for sharing. That was interesting. I totally get it, but I would sometimes just wander around a level, stay on a pause menu or something. The games that come to mind are Castlevania 64/LOD, Kingdom Hearts 1/2, Winback, and Soul Reaver maybe? Castlvania: Lament of Innocence was pretty good too.
Sitting in my car down by the Surfside , reclining in my cars seat, turned down low with the ambient sound of the ocean waves crashing on the shore with me parked under some cocoa palms down here in the sunshine state, it's 72 F right now in the latter part of April..
This tone is just right, has in it a tool that brings balance & reflection. For moody people or high spirited people this has the potential to center oneself to take stock of self & the environment around them. I cant go a day without this frequency blend so I found out today when I went out.

It reminds me of what if would like
waking up in a warm basement in freezing Iowa in a cozy bed and getting ready for work while I'm hearing freight trains passing through town at high speed during a blizzard in the early morning as my Alaskan Malamutes are waking up licking my face wanting their food as my parrots wake up and say the funny things I said the night before while making my animals feel warm, loved and safe.
In the meantime everybody I love or like is alive and well and the people I don't like never existed, so I never knew of them or the evils they do.
Nothing makes you think back on better times than more than the blade runner ambient music genre.

I've searched for similar compositions, both on your channel and elsewhere, and would say that I could not find an equivalent to this track in the sense of mystery and the amount of the dub-techno soundscape elements. I really like it!!!
