Any update on the 20 kg? I made a 13 and 17 kg recently after starting swinging gada in March. I can handle the 13 decently well but I can tell I'm a long way from attempting the 17

He also said that most Indians will try to swing it on one go and most people will break their back and get injured. He said that they dont have the same technique which he is very impressed with..

Guruji was trying to say that with your current technique you will not be able to swing the 45 kg even if you try day and night, he thinks you should move your foot forward and hold the gada on the trap. I don't want you to get hurt it is really dangerous. First practice holding a lighter gado on the traps.

13:30 he shows that you have to move forward with you left leg in order to move your shoulder forward. You step back wyth your right leg instead "leaving the shoulder where it is". There is the key I guess.

Well, I cant even do 7kg. I just bought my 1st 2 gada's, one 7kg and 1 2.5kg. You make it look so easy. I am still trying to get the form down. Hopefully I can get it down soon. Thanks for sharing.
When you are swinging it from your right you keep your right leg forward, and when it comes around the left (this is the part it lands below your shoulder and not exactly on the collarbone ( to make it land on your collarbone you have to step your left foot forward before it lands) that's the reason guruji is telling you to step forward, in the moment of swing you focus on one thing, trying it in lighter weights might help 👍

Hey dutchman, just wanted to tell you that, as you mentioned that you're not able to bring 45 gada to your shoulder , the guruji was saying that gada will only come to the place where you were able to do it, but it you're the one who have to bring your shoulder forward by stepping ahead to make sure it balances correctly, i hope this helps you✌🏻
When you were lifting the heaviest weight. He was telling, it's only the technique, the heavy weight which you were doing you didn't realise the technique was gone(not right) and you believed if you keep trying the way you were without technique, you would be doing whole night and wouldn't be successful.

Because with weight such as this the gada will go out of control. But with the adjustable leg movement for as far as the gada is going, you need to bring it closer to your head. And once you have the position ready after this you can go on. And I think you can lift much more. It's cool you reached 45 in the first try. If you can pick it up on one side you can definitely do on other as well.
Those nail joris and this gada are reasons for you to come back.. there should always be some unfinished business..
