5:57 i dont think he translated what the old man wanted to say, he was really impressed by your technique, where you decide to feel the weight at least three times before you perform the swing. He also said that most Indians will try to swing it on one go and most people will break their back and get injured. He said that they dont have the same technique which he is very impressed with..

What swami ji said was that Indian would not drop it even if it breaks their back. You dropped it 3 times. You saw how it would work for you. You checked and worked with the technique. Indian wouldn't work on technique but use force even if damages. He is happy that you did it.

He said two things: Indians do not leave their gadas even if it risks breaking their muscles and bones and also that you have a good trait of finding proper stability to form the proper technique. First point is something which applies to swords and other weapons too.. These piece of equipments to normal eyes are seen as a form of deities in our culture so people here make sure to respect that boundary. (Just letting you know as a brother so you will not fall prey to joke or mockery anywhere for this reason..).🙏

At 7:00 min the other guy said that "we Indians, are more about impression than expression, if we don't know the right technique, instead of correcting it we will keep continuing the bad form just for the sake of self image, then he talked about you, he said this guy, he checked the gadda three times and once he knew how heavy it is and I'm what way it can be used, he started doing it. His last line was, he has something that we don't have." So he was complimenting you, throughout the chat.

Hey dutchman, just wanted to tell you that, as you mentioned that you're not able to bring 45 gada to your shoulder , the guruji was saying that gada will only come to the place where you were able to do it, but it you're the one who have to bring your shoulder forward by stepping ahead to make sure it balances correctly, i hope this helps you✌🏻

When you were lifting the heaviest weight.
He was telling, it's only the technique, the heavy weight which you were doing you didn't realise the technique was gone(not right) and you believed if you keep trying the way you were without technique, you would be doing whole night and wouldn't be successful.

And Guruji also said that if you didn't do it right, he'd slap the whack out of him.

Lol......He knows the technique...he is also a pro mace trainer........it's just that guruji suggested an improvised technique to effectively use your leg to your benefit.......That doesn't mean his technique is wrong

Never before have I seen this method of exercise. I find it interesting to see youth vs experience in this regard. Youth wants results nów. Experience knows.. youth is over expending its resources

Kudos to you man. Great Job.
Just thinking.. let me know if any incorrect anywhere.
What the Panditji was telling is you have to move your feet. Because with weight such as this the gada will go out of control. But with the adjustable leg movement for as far as the gada is going, you need to bring it closer to your head. And once you have the position ready after this you can go on.
And I think you can lift much more. It's cool you reached 45 in the first try. If you can pick it up on one side you can definitely do on other as well.
