Reverse grip bicep curls babay!! I do these and they make the top forearm massive. To get the other side I raise the cable Machine to highest position, support elbow into the machine at your side and while supporting top of wrist with other hand, flex wrist down. I have massive forearms and I only do these. Se ya next time indeed!
5 months into armwrestling competition here in Texas... I've already made it into the top seven in my weight division.. I I feel like I have natural strength when it comes to arm wrestling because of my 20 plus years in mixed martial arts.. but I've never directly worked on my forearms so this workout seems to be the perfect workout for my sport
I only have a doorway pull up bar at home. I do active and passive hangs for time, and all sorts of possible Bodyweight exercises that can be done, if it train the forearms. Right now, here in India I have no access to gyms. So I have to work around with what I have got. Much love sir. 💪🏻🤗♥️🇮🇳 .
for forearms as well as finger strength and health I can't recommend hangboarding enough. It's kind of a specialty equipment and can run you into a wall of tendinitis if you don't start slowly, but it will bullet proof your elbows and fingers.
Bruce worked...everything...especially those connective tissues/tendons. (Sooo far ahead of his time.) Great video, informative and very clear. Good job, Mr. Teo...!
Stallone’s forearms have always been awesome, and way more impressive than his upper arms, and they are the part of the arm most often visible when wearing a t shirt so it makes sense to develop them. Good exercises here bro!
I train forearms directly every other day. My favorite exercises are: BW deadhangs - I find progression in hanging for longer stretches at a time. Wrist rolling(?) - I use a stick of 1 1/2" PVC with a length of sash cord ran through the middle Farmer walks - This is what seems to give me the largest pump and is the easiest to progressively overload. Even if you don't actually walk, the pump is insane and I attribute a lot of my forearm vascularity to this exercise. I love your videos dude!
such an excellent video. Thank you for your clarity and elegance of language as well as for treating this underappreciated topic so well. I've done all of these off and on for decades and agree that they are both affective as well as humbling if done well. Again, thank you.
I will try these. So far I've been doing weighted dead hangs, plate pinches, and barbell wrist curls for forearm strength. I also use one of those little squeezy grip trainer things at home. I have a history of issues with my left wrist ligament so I am a big believer in trying to keep forearms strong.
I have a 42-inch (ish?) crowbar, I hold it pretty far at one end to make it hard to raise and lower its angle by grip strength. I used to be a roughneck / roustabout on a gas rig, my forearms grew fast because the work was insanely demanding. (I'm one of those guys who can get back muscle gains pretty quickly.) Anyway, the crowbar is a great tool for forearm exercise, aside from its intended use. PS - At 2:13 you're doing exactly what I'm talking about. It would behoove me to watch the videos first!!! Another PS - I bought some massive heavy chains at Harbor Freight for weightlifting, but I only just got them so I'm trying to think of creative exercises using them. Hopefully you have videos for that, if not then maybe you could make some. Upvoted and Subscribed!
I recently made a change during dumbbell bench press that really activates the forearm. I've been doing a pretty basic bench press with dumbells for a while. Never felt anything in the forearms. As Teo says, I wasn't doing much to directly train forearms. I intend to, sporadically I'll do grips or wrist curls. But as far as time management goes, forearms go to the bottom of the list of priorities. But then I experimented with a tweak to my brunch press. I grip the bar extra tight and I feel this great, full pump throughout the forearm. What I love about it, is that the engagement feels very uniformly wrapped all the way around. It has no effect on any other aspect of the press. I've tried similar forearm engagement in other exercises like bicep and tricep curls, forward and lateral raises, etc. But so far, it's the bench press where I feel it most. Now this is a new development for me, I can't comment on results or potential forearm development. I can only say I love the way it feels. I don't get it all the way up to the elbows. From the widest part of the forearm to the wrist, and perfectly uniform throughout and around. Time will tell how much it helps. Squeeze your hand on the bar, grip like you were doing a pull up, then do the press as you otherwise would.
Great job and I’m not just saying that because we both have long hair. I love your channel and I agree Jim should start having these tools to train their forearms better. And also I hope that people are motivated to train at home now that way they can design however they want their set up to be🏅
Oh yes, I did train my forearms: (sorted for the time I started to do this in the last 2 years) 1. Using the gyrotwisters, even called power balls 2. Using my wooden Aikido stick, holding it at the end and circling it with straight arms, rising it in different wrist positions. 3. Using resistance bands 4. While starting to train at the straight bar by doing the dead hang, scapular shrugs, scapular pulls, pull/chin ups (currently at the end of 4x3x1'/30" of straight bar exercises or inverted rows at the parallel bars, my grip is wrecked, but regenerating very quickly). What's not working (currently) … one arm hanging. 5. The most obvious need to train the wrists and forearms I observed, was starting to try handstand, balancing using the fingers and palms … a complete different "stress" and "strain", I never did before.

Daaammn! What size forearms do you have?
@@adeelali8417 12.5 inches. Not real big but I’m 5’10 180 lbs so I feel like they are good size in proportion to my overall frame. Been doing almost the same routine for the last 6 months but progressed weight or time on a few of them and my forearms feel much stronger.
Wtf I stumbled upon this guy on IG and now RUclips is recommend this guy to me.
Must be destiny
haha you cant escape me
Reverse grip bicep curls babay!! I do these and they make the top forearm massive. To get the other side I raise the cable Machine to highest position, support elbow into the machine at your side and while supporting top of wrist with other hand, flex wrist down. I have massive forearms and I only do these. Se ya next time indeed!
Nice!
Love these with the pole, it never crossed my mind to train my forearms in this way, thanks mate
Do a lot of reverse curls but want to add these two in now. Though they seem difficult to do in a conventional crowded gym.
plus you have to bring your own broom handle from home
Damn that's a nice ass place
Thank you! 🙏

@@gloriouspurpose_ 🤣🤣🤣that one got me.
Perfect balance of colors, nature, and clean.
Wouldn't mind living there
I learned this technique by my grandfather,he was 107 year old
Wait seriously?
5 months into armwrestling competition here in Texas... I've already made it into the top seven in my weight division.. I I feel like I have natural strength when it comes to arm wrestling because of my 20 plus years in mixed martial arts.. but I've never directly worked on my forearms so this workout seems to be the perfect workout for my sport
I am excited to try these exercises. I am an old wrist roll and gripper guy. Thank you
I had lean forearms and I swear this exercises work! Growing so much, thanks eugene!
I only have a doorway pull up bar at home. I do active and passive hangs for time, and all sorts of possible Bodyweight exercises that can be done, if it train the forearms. Right now, here in India I have no access to gyms. So I have to work around with what I have got. Much love sir. 💪🏻🤗♥️🇮🇳 .
All the best!
Im gonna add a forearm day to my routine, thanks dude for sharing helping this info
This was jeff cavilier worthy training advice! Thanks man

Wrist roller is pure gold. When I was an active rock climber this was my go to. Even without weights is a good cooldown after climbing.
Amazing amazing amazing AMAZING video. The value in this is EVERYTHING!
“The wrist roller”
Me: Doesnt every guy do this ?
😂😂
I do tge same but with a beer.
Perhaps your boyfriend helps you......
Best forearm exercise: scrolling through the comments.
that first exercize reminded me of 36 chambers of shaolin where he has to hit the bell with the extended hammer
for forearms as well as finger strength and health I can't recommend hangboarding enough. It's kind of a specialty equipment and can run you into a wall of tendinitis if you don't start slowly, but it will bullet proof your elbows and fingers.
Bruce worked...everything...especially those connective tissues/tendons.
(Sooo far ahead of his time.)
Great video, informative and very clear.
Good job, Mr. Teo...!
I always do reverse wrist curls to strengthen my wrists
Nice!
it shouldn't be low on their plan. Forearms should be top of the list.
Neck, forearms and calves. Very, very important.
Facts 💯
Stallone’s forearms have always been awesome, and way more impressive than his upper arms, and they are the part of the arm most often visible when wearing a t shirt so it makes sense to develop them. Good exercises here bro!
I train forearms directly every other day. My favorite exercises are:
BW deadhangs - I find progression in hanging for longer stretches at a time.
Wrist rolling(?) - I use a stick of 1 1/2" PVC with a length of sash cord ran through the middle
Farmer walks - This is what seems to give me the largest pump and is the easiest to progressively overload.
Lol being a carpenter most of my life as given me this!
I asked a guy in the gym once as to how he got such huge deltoids on his shoulders. He said it's just from work, he was a brick layer.
yep I've got 5 different layers of splinters in my hands now.
@@francismarion4450 sounds like you're doing it wrong fella lol
@@1stinlastout165 Someone should have told me sooner then, I always wanted to be a hand model.
No gimmicks here. Great video and commentary. Refreshed to see a bigger dude that doesn't wear skin tight shirts clothes lol
lol
I love everything about this guy and his channel and I ain't even capping !
I will try these. So far I've been doing weighted dead hangs, plate pinches, and barbell wrist curls for forearm strength. I also use one of those little squeezy grip trainer things at home. I have a history of issues with my left wrist ligament so I am a big believer in trying to keep forearms strong.
The DraGON is on his T Shirt !
Lol my shifu used these as “break” exercises 😅. It works
When Herman Li show us forearms exercises.
Lol
Sylvester Stallone is fanatical about traing forearms
Great job and I’m not just saying that because we both have long hair. I love your channel and I agree Jim should start having these tools to train their forearms better. And also I hope that people are motivated to train at home now that way they can design however they want their set up to be🏅
Just start armwrestling and training for it. Nothing else compares for whole arm development.
Oh yes, I did train my forearms: (sorted for the time I started to do this in the last 2 years)
1. Using the gyrotwisters, even called power balls
2. Using my wooden Aikido stick, holding it at the end and circling it with straight arms, rising it in different wrist positions.
3. Using resistance bands
Your forearm physique has inspired me to develop my forearms!
Still waiting for „2 best exercise for calves“ ...

Calf raises and squatting calf raises? X)
I just make sure they're in a large field. Never had a problem with calf exercise.
