- This is a very long in depth video of installing Boundary Oil Pump and Crank Sprocket Gears, A Twin Carbon Fiber Disc Clutch by RPS/Fathouse, MGW Short Throw Shifter, ARH LongTube Catless Headers, and a Gen5 Whipple 3.0 top mount blower all on a 3800 mile 2019 Mustang Shelby GT350. Thanks for posting this! It seems like a ton of work, but now I have an idea of what I'm getting into, if I tackle this. Did you get any quotes from mechanic shops about what they would have charged to do all of this?
I save about $10k doing it all myself vs a shop installing everything
Not sure if you remember while you were doing the OPG but, do you think there was enough room to pull the oil pan out the back when the timing assembly was off and the oil pump was out? I am looking to swap the 350 oil pan for the gt500 oil pan and wondering if I will have to drop the front k member to make enough room. Thanks
I remember, I actually wanted to replace my oil pan gasket. But didnt bother because i could not get the pan down far enough. You do not have enough room to get the pan out. maybe if the transmission was out and you lifted the engine as high as you could with out taking the oil cooler lines loose, you could.
Im in the middle of taking mine apart right now. How the hell did you get the AC compressor belt off?
They say they arnt reusable. You can cut it off and replace it later. There's a bunch of youtube vids on how to replace the a/c belt for a s550 mustang
