I agree. My 2006 MINI came with god-awful Dunlop run-flats. I had a new set of wheels under warranty (due to corrosion) and upgraded from 17" to 18" wheels, but specified 'normal' Bridgestone tyres. The ride was more supple, there was less tyre noise and much better wet grip, even though the tyres were lower profile. Oh, and the tyres were cheaper than run-flats. Bloody awful things - never again.
Is that a white wrapped car , which is originally "structural blue edition" ? I never saw another LC500 with this interior colour combination besides structural blue editions... I assume those so called bubbles are just trapped under the wrap and perhaps that caused korrosion ?...🤔🤓🙂
i live in germany and here in winter there are lots of salt on the autobahns and streets. I know 3 persons who own Lc500 one is hybrid and the two others are V8 but non of them have this issues.
Thanks for the update, Thomas. Where exactly are those bubbles of corrosion on the car? Couldn't tell from your close-ups. Be useful to know when looking at cars in a couple of years. Thanks 👍
Glad that you are enjoying the LC 500! Not a cheap vehicle to own or operate, yet life is short, so enjoy it!
Congrats on the LC!!! Great looking car!
great update on your car
Such a good looking car, always stop and look when I see them
Awesome video bro. Keep up the content bro. I use a Lexus ct200h for grocery and food delivery
thanks man
I always take off the runflats on my cars and mount standard tires. Better ride and easier to get repaired
I tried to, however was advised to keep them on as no spare tire and not to get stranded

@@MehmetDoner-pd3is no worries, I have a few videos on my LC if you like Lexus it is worth checking my channel :)
is that a rust problem? !!!!
i know few of these cars with high mileage and 5 to 7 years old but they have no rust problem!!!!!!
well not rust as its the aluminium that corrodes, I know of a few in the UK that have this issue. Are you in the states?
