Not only is it one of the worst games IGN has ever reviewed, but now it looks like there might be some financial silly business going on with the company who released the game, Fntastic. Luckily, I'm here to give you a quick history of this video game disaster. Close to the full story in as short of a time as I can tell it!

@@commgen yeah a lot of people in that region have that name. I knew a couple myself. Although, it is pronounced more like ah-loy-shus in Singapore and Malaysia
Kind of understating the interest there was in this game, it was the most wishlisted game on steam twice even after people called this out as either never going to be released or a scam as soon as they looked into fntastic. For all that I don't think anyone predicted this level of dumpster fire, the drama around this game was a good laugh for a couple years though.

Steam keeps the proceeds of the sales for 30 days typically. The devs cant possibly cash in before the end of the month, and i imagine there willl be lots of refunds.
Yeah, Steam was refunding people who spent more than 2 hours playing it too.
Yup TWO russian brothers definitely are making a game from SINGAPORE... yup, definitely. Very Definitely!
To be fair, Fntastic stated it will refund EVERYBODY, regardless of whether the player is past the two-hour playtime (Steam's limit to get a refund).
sidebar: as a developer for over 50 years, my heart goes out to the devs. I'm certain the devs didn't set out to scam players, like, "Hey, lts make a sh1t game." The devs worked hard on a game they believed in. They wanted it to be good. We devs always want our final product to be good and our efforts appreciated. It's sad, when the dream crashes like this.

The gaming community is so starving for this kind of game that it shocks me that no serious studio is trying to address this demand.
Someone will be doing it. There was also another free to play game that game out recently. But it takes time. Someone will do it soon enough.

Even if the game was crap they still could have left a few developers to update the game to make more money on it
