This sounds exactly how I know it.This song is a "drummers" song in that your ear is drawn to the drum parts before anything else.To say that Downey is one of the greatest rock drummers is no understatement.Epic!
@@adamjohnston2311 Adam. I don't mean to be nitpicking but at the beginning of the original recording with Brian Downey of ''Bad reputation'' there seems to be a background recording of like horse's skipping double base drum flams that gives the feeling of fullness of drums. Or as if someone were playing base congas. When I watch you play the beginning I don't see you working double base at the very beginning of the song but I distinctly can hear the double base rythm as if there were a second person performing it right with you. By the way your performance is excellent.
@@adamjohnston2311 Thank you Adam. This just a remark form an ex drummer. I used the two bass drums. Never liked the extensions. There is another confusion regarding bass drums or just the word ''bass''. I see two notations for that instrument. Some people use the word ''base'' and some bass. But I think correct way is ''bass'' as in bass drum. Stil I am impressed by your drumming and the camera angles you used are just perfectly positioned as to see you kick it.
