Hi Breville! How often should I change the water in the tank? Br,
G'day, Phil. Hey, why does the inside of my portafilter stick to the group head after brewing and waiting for the solenoid to do its work, on my Breville Barista Express, the 2nd grooviest Coffee Machine on the Planet ;) (after this Oracle of course.)? Could it indicate that I'm doing something wrong? I've noticed it more when using the dual-wall innards; And even with the finest grind setting, unless I use the dual wall inner-filter cups, the pressure gauge no longer ever reaches the Perfect Espresso range. I've recently done a cleaning as well. Once again, you, and Gail from Seattle Coffee Gear are my coffee icons, (must be the grey haired wisdom coupled with caffeine and public service) so thank you for the inspiration!
I have (had) the Express... Shouldn't need the dual wall unless you're using older coffee (or pre-ground). Failing that, it could be the tamping. Use the little cutting tool to check the level. If that still doesn't work, you can use the little Allen Key they provide to remove the group head cover and give it a good clean. If really keen, you can also replace the group head seal (Google instructions on that), but it's unlikely that's necessary unless you've used it a lot.
Alas, my Express just stopped working after 5 years. Now considering options. *sigh*
Do the little covers at the back parts of the drip tray come off so you can clean more thoroughly?
Can u make a video streaming milk manually?!? I just both this, but i want to make the milk manually sometimes, but it does only worm milk no foam.

Has anyone mastered making a light roast on this machine?
There should be instruct on how to FIX these machines because they apparently only last 2 years IF lucky. My 2nd unit is leaking water all over the counter AGAIN.

An automatic manual machine, think that’s an oxymoron!!
I've heard them call it "semi-automatic" elsewhere, but I guess that word has negative connotations, so marketing went with the oxymoron.

Total garbage overpriced machine. Nothing work as shown just a year after purchase and I know how to use a espresso machine, I’ve got for 5K of machine at home with a rocket 58 but the Oracle at my mom with the same fresh quality beans only taste like rotten cadavers and Breville NEVER answer the phone, they finally did after 4 weeks of trying but they want 400$ to fix their crap machine and have us left with no coffee for 3 weeks before getting it back...
