He was 48 here. Going to be 90 in 2 months. I love Frankie. People complain that he might lip synch. I don't care. He sang for us for 70 years. Id still go see him
If anyone deserves to use backing tracks it’s Frankie. The real old legends (that we are lucky to even still have around) that put in the work back before technology took over are the only folks I let it slide when they use autotune or backing tracks live.
Auto tune isn't the issue. All his vocals in the last few decades have been lip synced. But hey, it's your time and your money and you can spend them how you choose. 😏
I an 80 and isolating. Their music meant everything to me when I was dating my future husband, their song, Can't take my eyes off of you became "our song". My husband has been gone from me a long time but with their music, I can remember our love and what their music meant to us.

GRiZZlY Ah, the 4 Seasons, one of the first self contained bands of American origin to have three number one singles in a row and lets not forget the 60 plus singles that made the Billboard Chart. 40 top 40 hits, 20 top ten hits and 7 number one singles. The only group of the rock era to score a number one record before, during and after the Beatles. Frankie VAlli and the 4 Seasons are and always will be my favorite band.

Those were the greatest songs of the time. Born 1965 I had cought up listening to songs like that in th mid 1970s. Even as a 8-9 year old those songs kept in my mind to this day at 59 years old. Very rare to hear songs like that these days. Excellent group. God bless. From Australia regards.🙂😃🇭🇲🦘👍✌️

Music heals the soul though and that’s how we can make it through.

I bought this on DVD a few years back, along with the 1992 concert they did in Atlantic City for their 30th anniversary. It was the latter concert that helped me discover Valli & the Seasons & i've been a huge fan ever since.
One of the few pre-British Invasion bands to have continued success from 1964-1969. They had 22 top 40 hits and 4 # 1 singles. Their first 3 singles( Sherry/ Big Girls Don't Cry and Walk Like A Man) all went to #1 on the Vee Jay Record Label and Rag Doll was #1 when they switched to Phillips Records in 1964.
I actually think they were very much OF the time musically, whereas The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Dylan were the ones redefining the boundaries. The Four Seasons need no excuses though, a serious class act that weathered the storm during an ever-changing popular music soundscape
I was born in 1953 so I grew up on the 60's music. I still love the music and it makes me feel like a teenager even today when I listen to it now. BTW when I go to the fitness club I start with 30 pull ups and the younger guys are amazed that I can do more than them. It's great that Frankie is not allowing age to stop him. Thank you for sharing this.
@@brianherrington7226 I suppose most of us who grew up in that era feel the same. People seem to have a special attachment to the music they grew up with.

I have just watched the movie "Jersey Boys" and I can't ever have enough of their songs! Their songs and their style never get old! I wish we had such singers these days! I may be old now, but their songs are immortal...a classic!
Aside from it being so well written and performed it was always pretty clear to me that the reason Jersey Boys was such a phenomenal success was because both their original fans, the parents of those fans, and the grandchildren of those parents all had their joy buds rung loudly by their great songs. I'm betting I'll love the Seasons music even in the hereafter!
My first concert back in the 70s with Jay and the Americans at MSG!! The best time ever!! I still have the black scarf Frankie wore around his neck!! 💖

Still love Frankie!!! I must have seen him over 100 times live!! He still comes to Connecticut every year for a concert! Just seen him a couple of months ago! Much older but is still great!!! Even my daughters in their early 30's go to the shows!
That's awesome, I have a few artists/bands that I see every time they come near me, but 100 times is incredible. I just hope I get the chance to see him before he retires or passes on from this life. I grew up (36 now) with the oldies station on in my parents old Cadillac. He's in my top 3 faves of the era.
Since I was a teenager in 1963 till now (september 2020) I always appreciate the perfomance of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The best group of rock of all the time.....Great..!!!!
Wonderful concert of Frankie Valli, "Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons In Concert" first ever aired as part of KPBS' Summervision Membership Campaign, Circa Friday August 23rd, 1985!! TV Worth Watching and TV Worth Paying For!!
I am 73 and grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia. The Jersey Boys used to come there to perform and my parents also traveled to Atlantic City where they also performed. Great memories.
Can't believe it. Frankie, Tommy is 91, and gaudio is in his late 70s. So cool how they are around to see their music beloved by everyone. When I the car as a kid whenever four seasons came on the radio we used to get excited. My dad would always sing all the songs.
I loved the original 4 of Frankie, Bob, Nicky, and Tommy, when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. Hard to believe Frankie is 86, Nicky is 91, Tommy would have been 93 ( he passed in 2000), and Bob is 77 what great songs he and Bob Crew wrote some of the best songs ever.
My twin brother and I have been fans our whole lives. We saw Jan & Dean at the fair in Peoria, IL back in 1985, but didn't know until that night that Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons were there the next night. We were devastated when our mother wouldn't let us go. We finally got to see him on December 17, 2016 in Durant, OK when I surprised my brother with tickets for our birthday. Nothing compares to seeing Frankie sing his hits on the night of my birthday. We were 3 rows back in the center, and got to go to the edge of the stage to shake Frankie's hand on his way off stage.
I can't believe that it will be a 60 year milestone for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in 2022! I was born in 1967... music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons was very popular...still and always will be!
This '82 show: AS GOOD AS ANY LIVE F.VALLI & FOUR SEASONS AVAILABLE ON LINE. ---All the hits!!..I mean all the hits, big and small..even if its a verse and a half for some. Frankie and Seasons' voices and full band ensemble are in great form...and the crowd..mint too. Close your eyes like I did listening front to back. Bravo Frankie and gang...and as always thank you mr gaudio and mr crewe
Loved Frankie Valli and four seasons since the 60s , Never did I dream I would ever see him ! I saw him here in Dublin 2017 I will never forget that great concert , long live Frankie Valli, ☘️💚☘️
I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE SOUND AND SONGS BY FRANKIE VALLI AND THE FOUR SEASONS. GREAT MUSIC THAT WILL NO DOUBT GO ON INTO THE NEXT GENERATIONS. LOVE TO ALL, SYLVIA! - FL 3/18/2020
I became a great fan after watching The Jersey Boys. I felt a connection to Frankie Valli when I found out he lost a child as I have also. I love this band. Thank you for sharing this concert.
For the last week or two, I have been watching all of Frankies concerts & videos to an extreme. I feel like im in such a state of excitement, like its thrilling to see him perform all of these songs. This concert was superb. He even did a little of some of their hits that he usually leaves out, like one if my favorites, called "Candy Girl". I used to go nuts over this song as a teenager and to this day still . He was wonderful in this.❤🍬🍬🍭🍭🍭That little doo op segement was fabulous.
I was a sophomore in HS when the started in 1962 and danced to so many of their songs and luckily got to see them live. Also saw Jersey Boys on Broadway the year it opened in late Fall 2005. I've been watching all their youtube vids.
Just goes to show how happy an audience is when they can sing along. FRANKIE VALLI turned his audience all the way Out ! I say the same about selling music ....if FOLKS can sing along with a song it will be popular and sell well.HOLLER FROM DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS
Thanks for this great concert. The 4 Seasons were my favorite band before the Beatles. Frankie’s Falsetto is so strong and so inimitable. Their Music has and will stand the test of time. Equal to the Beatles and Beach Boys as the top 3 groups of all time.
THANK YOU FRANKIE & THE SEASONS 💥💯❤️❤️💜💜💙💙 thanks Frankie for not forgetting how much you are loved and your beautiful voice will never fade! You are LOVED!!!!! I listen to your music all the time in ‘2020’
In the early 70’s you could hear these songs (and the Supremes) blasting through our college dorm. Every breakup and any other situation was gotten through by listening and singing along with this music. Brings back so many good memories. God bless them.

Since I was a teenager in 1963 till now (september 2020) I always appreciate the perfomance of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The best group of rock of all the time.....Great..!!!!
Saw him in 82. He was amazing.
I think Frankie does a fabulous job on " Sunday Kind of Love".His voice sounds beautiful when he does this song.
The voice of a generation still rockin' in his 80's.....
Can't believe it. Frankie, Tommy is 91, and gaudio is in his late 70s. So cool how they are around to see their music beloved by everyone. When I the car as a kid whenever four seasons came on the radio we used to get excited. My dad would always sing all the songs.
Im sorry to tell you mam but hes lip syncing. Lots of people dont believe it maybe you wont but its true and its sad @andyc9979
No. Tommy passed only a few days ago from covid 19
Nick died in 2000... Bob Crewe in 2014.
Love Frankie Valli and the four Seasons since the 60s
Tears running down my eyes! Miss you brother Alan!
Beautiful story
So lucky & blessed to shake his hand. I'd never wash it again!!! Lol
Still got the chops, you can tell he is a great showman who loves the crowd.
I can't believe that it will be a 60 year milestone for Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in 2022! I was born in 1967... music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons was very popular...still and always will be!
1:04 Dawn

It does not matter. Lucky you. I was born in 1960 and in Spain, but their music has always accompanied me without having ever seen them on stage.

Im wondering if that fellow at the keyboard , could be a young Robby Robinson?
Your a little, " Rag Doll"...
I was a sophomore in HS when the started in 1962 and danced to so many of their songs and luckily got to see them live. Also saw Jersey Boys on Broadway the year it opened in late Fall 2005. I've been watching all their youtube vids.

Thanks for this great concert. The 4 Seasons were my favorite band before the Beatles. Frankie’s Falsetto is so strong and so inimitable. Their Music has and will stand the test of time. Equal to the Beatles and Beach Boys as the top 3 groups of all time.
In Vegas saw their story and really really loved it. Could have sat through it again. Loved the songs from our young days. Brought back great memories

In the early 70’s you could hear these songs (and the Supremes) blasting through our college dorm. Every breakup and any other situation was gotten through by listening and singing along with this music. Brings back so many good memories. God bless them.

Saw Frankie in July 87 -- he was so awesome!!!! My daughter bought me tickets and we had such a Great uplifting nite listening and reliving the music of The Four Seasons . Magical is the word that comes to mind--- so sad when it ended. Wanted to go out and see him again!!
Should say at 87 he was awesome-- not 1987
Fabulous! Saw them live in college in '67. Better than the Beatles! Their music is happy and will be sung 100 years from now.
