It’s a 5500 lbs truck - also that not the reason you drive this thing in All electric mode. (All electric or Hybrid modes are for the very high mpg). Sport mode get you to 60 in under 4 seconds.
Suhail, quick question on the 3.9 to 60. Did you measure this a GPS device, like Dragy or Vbox? I have an M50i and worried about giving up my sub 4 second times. Thank you
@@Chris-xm1iq - it was a non professional test. Just used a stop watch on my phone. Will try to get it on video this weekend. 50e is the poor man’s XM!
What happens to 0-60 if the high voltage battery shows zero range and the vehicle is running only on ICE? Does the battery have a “buffer” we can’t see that the ICE is keeping charged to be able to keep getting the same 0-60? Or is acceleration actually slower when the HV battery is drained?

A sub 9 second 0-60 in electric only mode is pretty damn impressive, especially since the car weighs ~5,750lbs.

Electric only is 10 seconds or so. Sport mode is blazing fast under 4 seconds

BMW claimes 4,8s 0-62 mph. Whats your feeling? Is it faster? 🤩
Feel very close to my X3 M40i (4.4 sec) - but Air Suspension and much quieter cabin make it hard to tell. (Also still not using launch control)
Can you do it in sport…so we can really see the power gain. However, this shocked me.

Which mode is this in? It sounds like electric only.
